Hi @all,we have a shorttext-field "Parameterbezeichnung", which could contain values like "N.17", "B.20", "S.19" and so on. It could also contain combinations of these values, separated by commata. So now we have queries which are filtering over this field, and it works as long as the filtervalue isnt something with "S.". So a querydefinition like (field["Parameterbezeichnung"] contains "B.20") is giving me all items where this field contains "B.20", but no item with "N.20" or "B.19" in this field. But the same query with the definition (field["Parameterbezeichnung"] contains "S.19") is giving me all items with ".19", so its giving "B.19", "S.19" and "N.19". So whats the matter with this "S."? Is this some kind of placeholder for SQL-statements in the background? We're using Integrity 10.4 with Oracle 11Thanks, Jens

Werner;The attached worksheet outlines my ultimate goal. This structure of the equations or requiems are called upon when particular conditions are met as shown on the diagrams and accompanying mass balance equations. This stormwater control structure is called a high early discharge tank. As you can see the tank has two chambers which become active when the water rises to particular levels in the first and second tanks. These different flow requiems which you have help me solve previously but this time all this knowledge needs to be stitched together. Unfortunately as you can see by the diagrams these must be switched on at certain times. Can you do this using a complex solve block? I thought one may be able to use an if statement in the solve block but this seems like it is not allowed. Is there another way to accomplish this for example can solve blocks become part of a programming block? What do you suggest? Hi! I am trying to solve 2 equations simultaneously.There are 4 variables (x,y,a,b) in these 2 equations. 2 of these variables (x,y) are to be determined using Mathcad.The other 2 variables (a and b) are given, However there is a large set of values of 'a' and 'b', around 1000!If it was only 2 set i would have replaced the values of 'a' and 'b' each time, then take the solutions for (x,y).However replacing 'a' and 'b' 1000 times doesn't seem a good idea!I was wondering if there is a way in Mathcad to define 'a' and 'b' as arrays of values and then solve for x and y. So as to obtain the solution for all pairs of (a,b) at one go.Thanks for helping!

As shown above, I already have two curves in place (one on the top face, one on the side). I am hoping to insert a third transition curve (shown in red between the two blue ones) then join all three and perform a sweep cut. Could someone please help me out with the correct steps to follow. I am somewhat new to Creo and I have tried to get things this far on my own but am hitting a wall. Hello Eeveryone. I am new to creo in general and have just started the PTC online training for Simulate.My boss has me working on a project and wants me to run some structual FEA on some parts.I was following along ok through the training material until it came to the "AutoGEM" command. I do not have a button on my ribbon for this when i open the part that i want to run the analyses on. If i open a new file or bring in a simple block model, the AutoGEM is back....Any ideas on where my AutoGEM is going? Using AutoGEM is the only way the training material shows creating the mesh, so i am kind of lost until i figure this out. The attached screen shot shows that the AutoGEM button is gone from the ribbon, replaced by the Mesh button.Thank you in advance for your help!

I have noticed a rather annoying problem with using Creo parameters with trigonometric functions in relations. The observed behavior is as follows:   (1) Define your parameter with units, for example I define "angle" with a value of 15.0, Unit Quantity of "Angle" and Units of "deg", the result of "tan ( angle )" yields 0.04569. A wrong answer. (2) Define your parameter with no value for either Unit Quantity or Units, and tan ( angle ) yields 0.267949, which is correct for 15 degrees. (3) Do a "dumb" evaluation of "tan ( 15.0 )" and you again get 0.267949. (4) Define your parameter with a value of 15.0, Unit Quantity of "Angle", and Units of "rad", and tan ( angle ) yields 0.267949.   So it appears that if you exercise "proper" practice and define your units correctly, you are delivered erroneous results. Put in the wrong units and you get the right answer.   Luckily, the error is so different from the correct answer that it is easy to see it's wrong. In this case.  

I am looking for the easiest way to compare the data from two arrays. I have two output arrays, each consisting of one column and several rows and I would like to compare the two to find the max value for each row. The final result should be another array with one column and the same number of rows. I've been trying if/then statements and the 'max' function but am unsure how to vectorize these equations and get them to compare the data row by row.Thanks.

I have a simple family table of a part, the instances vary based on 2 dimensions (A&B). In the drawing i want the repeat region to show a column for dimension A and a seperate column for dimension B.I have created a repeat region that lists these instances and their dimension values. I used this for the table value in column A & column B: &fam.inst.param.valueWhen i update the table I am getting doulde the info that I want. How can I fix this? Hi,First post on this forum. I've been a Mathcad user for several years on and off, I'm still on version 2001 and need to upgrade ASAP!Anyway, quick question...I've been using Minerr with the LM iteration previously for configuration of various electronic equipment. I'm trying to use it once more, although I'm now using it to solve a Matrix of values - please see attached.My question is, how do I interpret the resultant Matrices/Vector in the result set? In other words, how do I determine u1, u2, u3, SX, SY and SZ?Any help/assistance is appreciated.Regards,Mike.

Hi.Is it possible to add custom table to "related objects" tab of WTPart.I defined action:<action name="myCustomTable"> <component name="my_custom_table"/></action>The name is same as @ComponentBuilder("my_custom_table") of my table builder class.I have added this action to <model name="partInfoRelatedItemsTab" resourceBundle="com.ptc.core.ui.navigationRB">model.But I cann't see my table on info page. There are no error messages in MethodServer log too.What else should i do to add table?Thanks.

Is there a mapping or list of the tables for Windchill 10? We are implementing an ERP system and want to have the system grab data from Windchill so as to enter the data only once. Any help in pointing me to some data would be appreciated.Ian Wexler

As a Trainer I have recently received the University Edition of Creo 1.0. Having easily run Pro Engineer WF5 on my iMac using Parallels v7, I didn't anticapte any problems when I ran Creo 1.0. Unfortunately it hasn't worked out that way. The main problem is when I extrude the 'ghosted' image does not appear. If I click to accept then it extrudes fine. Other what may be related problems are the 'remove material' icon not greying out when I move a feature backwards and forwards through a surface. Any ideas? I'm worried that it may be a Parallels related problem - but there was no issues with WF5. Thanks in anticipation. Paul

What are the symbols that look like the caret symbol between 0 psf and pg / 20 psf and theta/deg? How do I insert / use them? I finally figured out how to build my statements, then I ran into these. I think they are operators, but I can't seem to find a name or toolbar to insert them.Chuck

Symbolic solution of system of equations by using a keyword "Find" doesn't work correctly in Mathcad Prime 2.0 F000 (see example in the attachment). But in Mathcad 15 M010 all works fine. Another bug ?In Mathcad 15 M010:In Mathcad Prime 2.0:

Attached is a Mathcad 15 document that I have failed to troubleshoot. In sum, I am attempting to perform a convolution integral in a loop using a range variable, extracting the maximum computed value over a given time range in each cycle through the loop.I believe the issue is an instability in Mathcad's numerical integration. As-is, the attached document runs perfectly fine, as the final output (u.max) computes without issue. However, as soon as I adjust some of the key parameters, I receive the error "This calculation does not converge to a solution" when attempting to extract the maximum values within the loop. In particular, I wish to change the t.max to 10s so that the numerical integration is done over the range 0s to 10s instead of 0s to 4s, and I wish to be able to changing the damping term (Greek "xi") to other arbitrary values and repeat; however, changing either leads to this error. By altering the lower bound of the integrand on the "u.loop" calculation - e.g. from 0 to 0.0

Hi!My team has been working in OpenVSP while desigining our aircraft and is ready to start utilizing the model as a part and adding external/internal components via Creo Elements Pro. Previously, I believe, we have exported the VSP files as .stl files, and Creo has been able to recognize those. However, .stl files will not show up when we attempt to open them with Creo. What could we be doing wrong? Should we be exporting as a different file type?
