Hello!I am a student, and I am working on a homework problem that I can't quite solve. I need to:"Write a subroutine or function which will truncate a variable X to D decimal places after normalization. For example:D = 3, X=0.0069347 Should be returned as:X = 0.00693"Can someone help me write a program to do this? I don't typically write programs in MathCAD, and i really don't know where to start.PS: X can be any number, not just 0.0069347.

Hi there,Looking to upgrade to our Integrity server (currently at 10), and one of the features we want to use is the revisioning of items introduced in 10.1.As far as I know the labels could not be exported to Word documents via the Gateway in version 10.Does anyone know if the new major and minor revisions at the item level can be exported to Word docs? This would be extremely important to our workflow for both documents, and each content item within the documents, as we still rely heavily on the exported Word docs for distribution.Thanks!

Hello coleagues,I have this issue. In attachment there is a drawing of an assembly with only one part in it, 5 times. Im making assembly cut and that cut is affecting 3 parts. In drawing then i have situation that cut is spliting these parts because of change in mass which is there driven by repeat region (asm.mbr.MP_MASS_PROP). Can this be avoided without deleting this region who is giving the mass. My goal is to have this assembly cut and then not to split the BOM list. Also that mass changes if i make change in part level, regarding his dimensions or if i make change on cut in assembly level. Hi Guys   We have Creo 2.0 M080, attached picture shows the problem. I have sectioned a welded assembly (tube and flange) but the hole drilled in the flange still shows on the drawing.   I have modelled and drawn the same assembly in the past with Creo Elements Pro with no issues, is this a bug and fixed in M100 or have I missed something?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. HI guys,It's been a while .I've got a question, if someone could help it'd be nice.The thing is this: in the attached files there is a system of equations solved. The system has some variables which in term are functions (of some sort) and I can't see how or even why there were some solutions found and besides what exactly are these solutions? At first they seem to be integers but somehow he made them functions of t?!I've searched the internet (PTC community including) but I couldn't find something that did explain the way Mathcad solves these kinds of equations!Thanks for any replies.

Hi,I want to check if it is possible to pattern a boundary blend? I tried doing this. The pattern would fail, I have to use Geormetry pattern instead.I have a rectangle cut on a surface. Hi All,I've got a test 10.1M040 Windchill server set up and want to run DTI on my local machine (Win 7 64bit) Office 2010I've set the preferences in Windchill and downloaded and run the installer from the server as directed in the DTI Guide. When I run MS Word or Excel Windchill tab appears correctly.I then configure the connection to the server which asks me for Username and Password.When I try to use "Select Active Server" it comes back with The software was installed from the server so the version is correct. It looks as though it is not writing the values into the registry correctly.If I repeat the same on another machine (64 bit) logged in as me it all seems to work correctly and there are differences in the registry entriesAnyone seen this and fixed itPS if I do change the registry so the server values are correct I get another error as follows: - I got to Demo this to some interested sections of the business next week so am trying to get this fixed, IMHO - TS are not being very

I've just moved our MATHCAD licensing to a Triad model as i'm decomissioning our old license server. But when I configure Prime to look at a license server it only appears to support one server.I may be missing something obvious here, but does Prime not support Triad licensing? Hi All I have been working on a project over the last couple of weeks preparing model and drawings for a Capex proposal for new plant.now I have been doing some animation of the equipement in action. but when I output the files to a movie it come out bad I even tried to output with photo render, and it either crashed Creo running out of memeory, or comes out looking like the image below.it looks fuzzy and out of focus.Can anyone help with pointers and tutorials on rendering and animations.THank youThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I'm trying to insert an image into a drawing and I can find a way to get the image to show. No matter how I insert the image all I get is this. The image file name. I want it to show the actually image.I have tried getting them image by importing an AutoCAD drawing, but when I do that the image does not display at all. I have also tried inserting an object and thats when I get the image of the file name(see above). Hello, I am using CREO 2.0 M090 on windows7 64bits, and I just installed ANSYS 15. maybe I should mention that I also have Wildfire 4.0 installed on the same computer. The problem is that the CAD interface between ANSYS Workbench and CREO does not work. I've been following all the steps described on Ansys customer portal, and still no success. before contacting Ansys support, I would like to know if others CREO 2.0 are encountering the same problem, or if I'm simply doing something wrong. I've been trying a lot of stuffs to make it work, so rather than a "It should work if you do..." I wish I could have a " I did.......and It's working Fine for me" kind of answer.....still, all advices are welcome.... Stephane
