Is it possible to use a trig function + power without a second pair of brackets in v15 (no Prime)?

After installing Creo 2.0 trail version I get a fatal error message that states:   Fatal error encountered. Hello,This is my first time with MKS. We are using MKS Integrity Client, on windows XP. Installation of mksClient.bin runs fine, but anything I try, I get the following error. Attempt to launch MKS Integrity Client Timed out. To solve this please try the following:- Verify that the user you are logged in as has read and write permissions to the Integrity Client install directory.- Make sure the Integrity Client install directory is the very first entry in the path.I'm able to read/write in integrity client install directory, so that cannot be the issue. Please provide your comments

I was wondering if you can save the current view in Creo Parametric. For instance. I would like one view where everything is unhidden, and another view where I have a bunch of stuff hidden. I am also using sheet metal. I have a bunch of parts in the assembly that are sheetmetal and a bunch that are not. It would be great if it would also store the state of the bendings. So the one everything would be bent, while the other everything would be flattened out with stuff hidden. That would be ideal. I am looking to model a rigid/flex CCA. I was hoping to model the board and flexes as one entity all flat and then fold it up. The problem I am having is that the rigid areas and flex areas are different thicknesses so when I try to convert to sheetmetal it doesn't work. Any ideas on how to make this work?Seems if I make the rigid areas and flex areas all different parts and assemble them, they loose connection when I bend them. I just recently downloaded the student version of Creo Parametric 2.0. But when I open a model the welcome tab stays active and I can't see my model. If I click the close button on the welcome tab the tab just freezes. What do I need to get the welcome tab to close?

Arbortext Editor 6.0 whether connected or disconnected to Windchill 10.1 is very slow to open an xml file. We get the "not responding" message and the cursor just keeps spinning (approx. 30 seconds). Eventually the xml file appears and everything seems to work fine.What could cause this issue? Could the server need a reboot? Could it have something to do with the cache size?Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks

Hello all.Is it possible to incorporate XSL-FO data which is created in the other stylesheet tool (e.g. AH Formatter ) to ".style" file for Arbortext Styler?My idea is to copy and paste some of stylesheet settings written in XSL-FO into a ".style" file.As some stylesheet settings are difficult to achieve (e.g. bleed tab) by Arbortext Styler UI, I want to reuser the XSL-FO data which I already have in hand.The output will be PDF, just for your record.Many thnaks.Kind regards,Tomomi

I have a Windchill system that has been upgraded from 9.1 to 10.1, I now need to move it to another server.I have installed 10.1 on the target server, cloned the SQL Server database and external vaults, and updated the server name in the relevant tables.I have imported the entire root LDAP which as two branches 9.1 and 10.1.I have reimported the configuration branches from the original OOTB install so the server names are correct.I have also reconfiged the Apache Auth providers to use the 9.1 branch as per the source server.I think I need to change the search base for the Admnistrative and Enterprise JNDI adapters, but don't know how to do this outside od the Windchill UI.Any help on this would be appreciated.Thanks,Nick.

i would like to know how can i locate latest version of specific drawing files, using search options.For Ex if have drawing with name bush.drw, that has multiple versions checked in to windchill. while searching i'm getting result flooded with all version which has been checked in till this time. I need to know is there any way to get only latest version by tweaking/adding some options in search what we have in Windchill?Thanks in Advance.

I have created a part which when halved looks fine: http://i.imgur.com/i26Qb5I.png?1, but when I try to mirror it something really screws up. This is what happens when immediately after mirroring: http://i.imgur.com/Uh4AkYB.png. This is what happens the moment I scroll in or out: http://i.imgur.com/oK2wW3H.png. I understand why the surfaces have mirrored but I don't get why the thickened walls just disappear. Does anyone have any ideas? I've uploaded the file though it's the student version so I think you can only open it if you have the student version also. Just recently I transfered from one division of my company to another. The first division used SolidWorks and the new division uses Creo. It has been over a decade since I used Pro/E so I am effectively a newbie. I am trying to create a structure based on a 3D array of a unit cell. Here is a screen shot of a portion of the cell created in Creo. This is where I get stuck. This part must be mirrored a few times to create the actual unit cell. Since the mirror feature in Creo has no ability to revise the selections after creating it, I am trying to figure out how to pattern it with an axial pattern. When I attempt to do so, Creo gives an error stating, "Some features failed to regenerate." See the attached model. Below is a screen shot from SolidWorks showing what the unit cell should look like, and another screen shot showing what the full 3D array should look like. I've been watching tutorial videos that constantly show the trainer right-clicking in the model space to select from a set of quick-select functions, but I am not able to get this to work. I went into the configuration editor and looked up the right-click option setting and it's set to on, which enables me to right-click items in the model tree but not the background area of the modeling space, in order to quick select options. I purchased a student edition of Wildfire 4.0 for training local students. The training locally has ended and now I want to remove the software from my computer and send the CDs to a student in another state. How can I unregister the software on my computer so that a new student can register it on his computer?
