Section regeneration failed. Ambiguous sketch. It's a round, and I can not do anything with it! It locks up ProE (WF5) when I do anything to it. I have a circle and would like to create a centreline through it, so that I can use it as a reference when doing dimensioning. How would I do this?

Is there any danger in not using "owner" links at all? I always want the flexibility to iterate wtpart and cad documents seperately, but I'm concerned that this might cause problems with my product structure or some other area downstream. "Content" links do allow for independent iterations, but I'm not sure if using these instead of "owner" links will cause problems downstream.

I want to define some variables and align them, so i put them in one matrix just like attached picture.Now there is a problem:I can not remember which day I wrote dowm this in the sheet ,in where this kind of variables definition is valid and I can get the 2nd variable's value below the matrix.but today,in a new sheet when I do this again, it says the variable is not defined, so I cant get the 2nd variable's value below the matrix.whatever i do, this problem remains, but in the valid sheet it is always OK.Could anyone help me?my MC is "Mathcad 15 F000"消息编辑者为：盗版 用户

Ok, so I've been trying to figure out how to set up the printing options to suit our needs. We print almost everying on 8-1/2x11" paper (a size). Very rarely we will brint a B size, and usually it's by mistake. Our print templates are set up so that we need to scale to .95 to not cut off anything when using the full plot option. (I know we should fix the templates, but that's for another day). How can I get it set up so that when I hit CTRL+P the print options are autmatically filled to print all, on a size sheet, stroke all fonts, with scale at .95?   The problem I am having is that I've tried the save button and sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I'm thinking it has to do with each different sheet size or template, but I'm not sure. I know that there are config options for the quick print location file, but that doesn't seem to be working the way I expect either.   If anyone has some tutorial on getting the printing to work, or had time to explain the settings th

Still playing around with tank filling. This time my inflow hydrograph starts with zero flow and ends with zero flow over a period of 120 min (first graph). Unless I have overlooked something the calculated depth in the tank should also start at zero (no inflow) and end at zero (tank depleted i.e. no out flow) but instead although the solve block ODE shows that the depth in the tank is trending downwards but it never gets to zero depth (second graph) or zero outflow (third graph). This appears to be physically incorrect as I think all would agree. But why is the solve block returning answers that don't go to zero when as you can see by the hydrograph the inflow is zero at 120 minutes. Something is wrong but I don't know what it is can someone explain.Kind regards, Mark

Hello!I have made a Punch tool off a form that I repeatedly use in Sheetmetal. I use it to make holes. The form has a lot of surfaces. When I want the command to work, I have to select all of the surfaces one by one. Is there a way to select the whole form and deselect the one surface I don’t need?Stefan

Hello, I would like to rotate a part about the center of one of its faces. I am having trouple with this. See attached image. I am not able to 'snap' to the center of the face. I also cannot figure out how to use the midpoints of the edges of the face as as guides for the axis of rotation. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,MarcusP.S. There may be a trick to solving this ODE but I am at a loss. All I can assume is that it is something to do solving 2 functions simultaneously but in my view the only linkage between these functions is time otherwise I believe they should be independent in terms of depth h because the depths in the tank and the weir are only related indirectly by way of inflow. As you can see I am getting an error. The problem looks simple enough i.e. fill a tank with water and then drain the water out at the bottom of the tank at a slower rate than the infill rate. By definition the tank should fill with water to a certain height.The complexity is that the inflow is by way of a weir. The inflow from the weir increases with the depth of flow. I(h). The outflow is a function of the depth of water in the tank Qout(hw). But as you can see the ODE fails but I don't know why?Can someone show me how this can be done?Thanking you in advance.Mark

Why are the extra zeros being appended to the array? Note the original function output starts 0.379m. My idea was to create a new array of values when the level gets over 1 m in height. Although I also tested to exclude zero the program block seems to ignore this restraint and append zeros to the resulting array. Hello,I am having an issue with 2D plots in mathcad. I am unsure if there is a bug, or I am not understanding something. I am using M14 M020 14.0.2.5.The main issue is that when using certain values for variables, my 2D plots will no longer display. See attached worksheet. With the current values, the plot showing the horizontal stresses is blank, while the vertical stresses are displayed properly. I believe that the values are still being calculated properly. If the value for zone1 is changed to 1, then the plot displays correctly. If the value of ELE.base is changed to 170m (with zone1=2)then it displays correctly. If ELE.base is changed to 174, then only part of the plot is displayed.In searching for the cause/solution I have discovered something I don't understand regarding the axis values of the charts. If you look at the plots on the sheet to the right of the main plots, the function plots correctly when the maximum value on the x axis is 200, however when I change it to anythi

Performance RotorcraftThe perfornance rotorcraft mathcad worksheet asks for a minimum airfoil drag. Is this in regards to the propeller and if so how is it calculated?This worksheet calculates power consumption for forward flight, vertical climb, etc. However, it seems that the calculations are based around only one motor with one propeller lifting the entire vehicle takeoff weight. On the multirotor there are six motors providing thrust to lift the entire vehicle weight.

Does anyone know if it's possible to round values created with relations?What I am doing is setting my speeds and feeds with relations. I have just been sent a simple geometry that as been made with Freestyle in Creo 2 Parametric.I would like to know if it is possible to merge the individual quilt surfaces together, so that a single decal can be applied to the entire model. After installing the PTC CREO student version on my laptop i'm unable to see the part and/or datums on the model window. The part opens correctly but nothing shows on the screen. How can i fix it? Is a installation issue?All datums are turned on, no part is hidden. I just cant see anything, just a blank model window where a part is supposed to be showing.

Hi all,I apologise if there is an obvious place I can find the answer to this, but I've googled and googled and come up empty.I have a vector, x, that depends on a number of different symbolic variables and derivatives of those variables. ie. the terms in the vector x contain y, y', z, z', theta, theta' etc.What I would like to do is use a command that replaces these variables and their derivatives with new variables with different names. ie. replace y, y', z, z', theta, theta' with x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, x6.
