Hello,I'm unsure why the plot isn't plotting, either a 3D or a 2D Contour Plot. I'm wanting to show what is basically a T vs. P graph for an isentropic senario. I'd like to plot either the surface or a contour. (A couple curves in a 2D graph would work as well). I'm just unsure what is incorrect in the syntax.

Hello, This is my first time with MKS. We are using MKS Integrity Client, most of us are using windows client. I'm on a mac and would like to setup my development environment in a VM, preferably a linux flavor. I'm currently using centos 6.5 32 bit. Installation of mksClient.bin runs fine, but anything I try, I get the following error. ./si gui./si: Attempt to launch MKS Integrity Client Timed out. To solve this please try the following:- Verify that the user you are logged in as has read and write permissions to the Integrity Client install directory.- Make sure the Integrity Client install directory is the very first entry in the path.I'm able to read/write in integrity client install directory, so that cannot be the issue. I do not know how setting up path is of any relevance when starting up the client. Could this be some kind of connection issue? I'm able to launch web version, web services, etc. at the given host/ip:port. Any pointers? Best,Srikrishna

Just started MathCAD prime 2.0. Big change from MathCAD 15. Majority is unpleasant change. Anyways my questions below.I have inserted a excel component in my MathCAD sheet. 1. The input into the excel component has units 'mm'. The value is 45 mm (Bolt dia). In the excel sheet it comes out as 0.045 automatically. Why is that so?2. In the excel component there is a table and it does a VLOOKUP search in excel for the input given and returns the desired value. This value I have selected as a output of my excel component. The thing is that the output does not have any unit. But I want units of mm^2 (Bolt area) assigned to it. But for the life of me I am not able to do it. Each time I try to insert manually, MathCAD automatically makes it unitless by giving mm^2/m^2 result. Any help regarding this?Thanking you all in advance.Regards,Debayan

Hi everybody!Is there a way to display generated text in TOC?When I select a element with a generated text (Usually the chapter number), the TOC shows only the element's text and not the generated text.

Out project contains empty folders that are used during a maven build but when I load the project to MKS Integrity these folders are ignored and not checked in.Is there any way to allow empty folders to be checked in?

I need to open a current_session with new options and new configs features.These current sessions were made in Wildfire4.When I open a current session in WF4 it works fine, open it without creating and saving another config file.When I open a current session in Creo2, I have to save with another name and it will create a full config.pro file with the current session features added in this file.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi there,I've been with a new company using Creo 2.0 for the last three months and we would really benefit from being able to create parts with what I know as "configurations": I'm not sure what the equivalent term in Creo would be, I'm afraid.The first parts I am trying to create are bent plates. There are 8 different versions, each sharing all bar two dimensions: an angle and the overall length which is driven by the angle. I've attached a 2d draft to demonstrate.My target is a single part with 8 "configurations", with one drawing displaying this part in a default "configuration" and a table that will define parameters 'A' and 'L'.I hope that this is feasible in Creo as it would save a lot of work!Many thanks in advance.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi everyone, I am trying to simulate the thermal expansion of a cubic model under Global temperature load.My question is how to constraint the model so that expansion can be seen on EVERY surfaces? For some reasons Wildfire 4.0 requires not a point, not an edge but at least one surface to be fixed in order to run the analysis. I tried placing another model underneath and defined the interface between two models as "contact" with infinite friction enabled. However the result was totally incorrect even though expansion did appear on all surfaces.Any advices would be greatly appreciated!!Lawrence

How can I edit a part of an assembly without leaving the assembly im working on? I was able to this with Pro/E but Im not having the same luck in Creo..

HiCreo keeps in my memory, multiple versions of the same part.Example:123.PRT.1123.PRT.2123.PRT.3It is really annoying and takes up a lot of memory space. Hi Folks,First time posting on this forum. I am a novice Mathcad user. I have Prime 3.0 and am having problems with a solve block. I suspect the problem is how I have the worksheet set up.I have two equations for the maximum tangential stress on a hub connected to a shaft. First equation is stress due to press fit. Second equation is stress induced by rotation of hub. I am trying to solve for the rotational speed where the stress from the shrink fit is overcome.I have solved this problem by hand. Now I am trying to have Mathcad save me the time required to rearrange equations. I would appreciate any advice you could provide. I have attached the file.Regards,Bill

HelloI made a function which should be able to produce 25% a value of 1, 25% a value of -1 and totally 50 % the value of 0. Something like the signum function but with defined intervalls.the first 25% of the periodic time it should be 1from 25% till 50% it should be 0from 50% till 75% it should be -1from 75% till 100% it should be 0and then again from the beginning. Totally for 10 minutes.Unfortunataly the function doesn't work and I don't know why.Thanks for your helpAdrian

Mathcad is adding a very small number to my results. There is no explaination for it. I am using Mathcad 14.I have attached both the Mathcad file and a PDF (in case you are not running v14).If you don't feel like downloading the attachments, this is the jist of what is happening:Why would Mathcad add in that 10^(-14)? The problem is I want to do something similar to the following: . My equations don't work with imaginary numbers!I tried increasing the Worksheet Options to 1e-020 for both TOL and CTOL and neither corrected the problem. What is happening?!??!?!

I am getting an error mesage that the file is either corrupt or invalid when I trying to extract the files from the downloaded zip file of Creo version 2. I am using Windows XP and the downloaded file size is 4.2 Gb.

In evaluating the PTC Integrity tool, we are concerned with the volume of that can the tool can handle that is not particularly limited by bandwidth or server capacity, but regarding practical usage or implementation limits. Are there limits on the number of items/types, projects, archives, labels, checkpoints...?

I need to be able to iterate a cad document (model or drawing) and not be forced to have the wtpart iterate with it. I've tried this with using a Contributing Content link between and model and the wtpart, but this didn't work.

I'm trying to auto scale an image by using the histogram of the image and scaling so that a user defined percentage (e.g. 98%) is contained within the scale limits.Maybe my attempt isn't the best way, and it doesn't work if I want to include 98% of all the data.Thanks for any help.Jason
