Hi Everyone...I have to be brief but... does anyone else have really bad performance issues in Creo 2.0 when working on a large assembly? Build code can be M040, M050, or M060. It doesn't matter all three are similarly bad.I have a 4-sheet drawing with a rather large assembly. There are tons of "lines". Simple operations like zooming in/out, moving a view, and even just selecting an object are taking forever. I've tried every trick I know and it's as slow as it can be. When I click a dimension to move it and Creo takes 5 second to select the dimension, that's bad. Imagine this scenario... I need to more a tiny detail view a few inches to the left to make room for something else. I move to the view... 3 seconds later, it highlights. I click the view... 4 seconds later, the drag handles activate. I hold down the mouse button and drag the view... then let go of the button to drop it. Creo takes 20 seconds to move the view and repaint. Moving a view just took 30 seconds.Now imagine I have

In MathCAD 15 programming are static variable available? That is if one subroutine is called from another programmed section can a variable in the subroutine be marked such that it remembers its value from the last time the subroutine was called?I know this is probably a re-occurring question but the last answer could find was in 2006.Thanks. I want to link a parameter my model to an on screen annotation. The parameter that I want to link is SMT_DFLT_BEND_RADIUS. I want to make it show up in an editable annotation so that in a sheet metal part, I can set all of the bend radii with one setting. I want to set it in the start part so that every sheet metal part that I create will have this annotation. I know that if you use the [value] in the sheet metal bend radius that I can change the value in the relations screen and it will change the bend radii. I've seen some pretty cool parts that controlled things like this and would like to learn how to do that. I'm having a hard time wading through the help files and I think that it might be pretty simple once you know how to do that. Hi all,First of I would like to say this should probably be in the university section however no one has posted there in over 2 months.I'm in my first year of university and did a design module using PTCs Creo 2.0 which meant I was eligible to download it for free, which I did. I was using an AMD based system but wanted to switch over to intel so I could get a beefier processor but that meant I needed a new motherboard, which in turn meant I had to input my product code (or what ever it is that you use to activate the student edition) but I deleted the email over 4 months ago which meant I couldn't use the program.Is there anyway that I could redownload creo 2.0 and get my activation code again?hopefully the answer is yes because I really need it for my assignment.

My last take on this problem only included h as a function of time h(t). I have concluded that this is incorrect in that the height of the water in the tank also effects the flow in the discharge pipe. Thus Q is a nested function of both h and V i.e. Q(h(t),V) , as Werner had pointed out my previous version may not be physically correct because V was not taken into account. Although, the previous version solve blocked worked I have concluded that Werner was correct and that the answer is incorrect due to not taking into account the change in velocity with height. I therefore redone the worksheet to include V in the solve block and change the weir equation with a more physically accurate version. Now unfortunately the solve block is complaining about scalars. I think I have tried every ODE combination of vaiable but all to no avail. Can anyone spot the problem?Thanking you in advanceMark

Hello,I am trying to install PTC creo to another drive because C drive would not have enough space left after installing. I am unable do to so, because at install window when I change drive letter, it says that 0 MB is available wven when there's plenty of space at the other drives. I got a new computer and I'm trying to reinstall Mathcad Prime 2.0. Both computers were running Windows 8.1, but this time it seems that it can not get past the 'Application Selection' screen. Has anyone encountered this before?

For those of you in Week 1 Regionals, how did it go? What did you learn? How did your robots fare?Our team participated in the inaugural local Central Illinois Regional, which was full with a full complement of 40 robots - and of them only one rookie team.Woodie Flowers was in town for the kick off, which was great. I was able to represent PTC at the breakfast meeting with Woodie and many Cat executives (Cat is a sponsor of many teams in the area). PTC had at least 3 sponsored teams in attendance (including us).We were as high as 7th in qualifying, but ended up in the middle teens after 3 losses the 2nd day. We were picked on the 6th seed alliance and won through to the finals against the #1 alliance (who hadn't lost a match yet and had an OPR of something like double ours).We won 140-something to 70-something in the first match. Lost by a narrow margin in the 2nd. Then lost by 9 in the 3rd. So we ended up 2nd. A great job by all the students, I'm proud of them.We have some work to do

Before to create Geometric Tolerance in part model, I set a datum axis first. I am adding a large amount of entitity declarations and referencing them from a DTD. The compile fails with "Size of value string block exceeds maximum capacity of 524280 bytes.Document type definition is too complexCompile failed - rc=64"Just what capacity does this error refer to? I have tried various settings in the SGML Declaration, but the 524280 byte limit in the error message never changes. Is this an internal Arbortext limitation?In the past, we have simply upped various capacity values in the SGML Declaration and got the desired result. But I can't see how to make this limit budge.Any insight would be greatly appreciated.Thanks. Debra Lee

Upgraded a testing environment to 10.2 M010 to test using process plans from the structure view of a Part, but do not see it there. Anyone using this new feature? Is there config that needs to be in place to enable this functionality? Thanks.

Hello !   I am facing an issue on Creo 2.0 M090. When I open a drawing and its model, and change the model it's not been updated on its drawing, even after I use the REGEN command. I've tried it with and without my present config.pro configurations with the same result.   As an example, I'm sending a model and a drawing. The drawing doesn't reflects the model anymore. Opening the drawing and hitting the regen command it doesn't update the drawing. The only way I found to walk around the problem is to force a second unnecessary change, regen in the model + drawing, and them undo the unnecessary change.   Is there anyone facing the same issue ? Hi,Offhand does anyone know what the actual text "format" the IsoDraw Macros are in? ANSI, DOS, UTF-8? I find that if I edit the .ism files with Textpad they can no longer be read by IsoDraw afterward. I'm forced to edit them in Notepad which is not really ideal.Greg

Hi.....we are not able to see generated text for elements with a particular namespace....when we do Format -> Modify Element In Context.. we are not able to see element's FOSI for those elements belonging to particular namespace....however it works fine for other elements.Any idea what could be going wrong.....we have xsd associated with the document...and the same namespace is that of root element as well.Regards,Pawan

Hi all, I wrote a workflow expression but it was quite long. So I used javac to create package and store it in proper dir inside codebase/ext. But when I'm calling my class via expression in workflow manager I get error class not found. I am trying to join two flow regimes (weir flow and orifice flow) into one continuous vector / function. For some reason its giving me an error and I not sure why. You will see that I designed a similar structure (see first program block) which also contains if statements i.e.comparing each array element in turn at least I think that is what it is doing? I believe all the units are correct for taking into the second programming block, so why dosn't the program structure return a array of values. Also is there a way to avoid having to vectorizing the result from a program block output i.e. placing the forward arrow above the result. I must admit I am not sure why I have to from a mathematical perspective but it seems to work. My main concern however is programming block 2.Thanking you in advance.Regards, Mark

Hi, everyone!I am new here and I hope I've found the right place to ask my question.I've been trying to simulate the magnetization process of a ferrimagnet using Mathcad. The theory behind this is quite simple - one writes down an energy expansion, there're three terms that signify how two magnetic moments interact with each and with magnetic field. Mathematically, one needs to minimize this energy with respect to the angles the magnetic moments make with the field and some symmetry direction of the crystal lattice. The minimization should be done for each magnetic field value, e.g., B = 0,1,2,...,20 T. Then, the total magnetization, Mtotal, can be calculated using the obtaines values of the angles.I've prepared a Mathcad document for the simulation (see attachment). The program works but gives me an incorrect unphysical result. Could you take a look and possibly exlpain to me what I've done wrong?Thank you in advance.Regards,Den
