Hi, I start in Creo sketcher with a straight line (sd3), then I would like to add an arc which has the same (perimeter) length. I think that should be possible with the "Perimeter" function but I cant get it to work properly. Can someone comment on the proper use of centerlines in drawings? When dimensioning to the centerline of a hole for example, is it a proper drawing practice to extend that centerline leg all the way to the outside of the part (not just to the outside of the feature) and and place the dimension's extension line at that point? See the attached image for an example of what I'm talking about.At this new job I started at recently, I'm taking ownership of parts which need additional design and drawing work done on them before they can be released for production. Often these parts will have completed prints from the previous revision I work from. I'm seeing a lot of the above practice and I find it extemely iritating for some reason. I feel compelled to change the centerlines back to how they might look in their default condition and move the dimension extension line with it.ASME Y14.5 1994 seems to show figures done in both ways.Thanks for your comments.This thread is inactive and closed by

Hi,I've installed Windchill 10.2 on a Windows Server 2012 + SQL Server 2008 server. Everything run fine. And just after the installation, Windchill started. Then, I rebooter the server, my goal is to make Windchill automatically started.I've created the Windchill DS service. But the problem is when I run "windchill start", everything seems to run fine, except there is no httpd process on the computer, so no web server.I've found nothing in the logs and no script to run it. Ich kann die Datei anwählen und bekomme ein Eingabemenü angezeigt.Lade ich mit der gleichen Vorgehensweise die Datei zur Federgestaltung "feder.lsp" oder auch "federn.lsp" in gleicherWeise ein, dann erscheinen diese NICHT im Werkzeugkasten.Gebe ich folgendes "ADD_TOOLBOX_BUTTON :ACTION (LOAD "D:/Creo-CAD/LISP/Federn/feder.lsp") :LABEL "Feder" COMPLETE" in der Eingabezeile ein, dann steht "Feder" zwar in der Werkzeugkiste aber anwenden kann ich das Programm trotzdem nicht.Beide Programme a) fürs Gewinde und b) für Feder stammen von der Seite http://osd.cad.de/ .Wo liegt der Unterschied des Verhaltens bzw. was beachte ich nicht.Mit GrußWerner

Anyone know why the OOB Review Workflow would be needed for a Change Request workflow when it is not in the CR workflow?If I have Review as not Enabled, then the CR workflow will not go past the Submit task!Perhaps a Preference setting?

Hello !I just migrated from WF4 to Creo 2.0 M090 and I'm trying to mirror a part in an assembly, using a datum plane as reference. I am selecting the part, selecting the datum plane and using the Mirror command (modifiers --> mirror). The thing is that I tried it on many several ways and it doesn't works. Does anybody know how to do it ?I just got a support answer suggesting to create a new part, using a mirror option. Dear all, I am relatively new to mathcad and could do with some help solving the errors that i have encountered. I am trying to model the equationx(subscript:n+1) = r*x(subscipt n) - x(subscipt n) ^3 where 0<r<3 and n is an integer 1-1000.I believe this should output a bifurcation however i can not seem to get the program to output anything with a variable r, when r is a constant i get a chaos graph but i would like to plot x wrt r. If anyone has got any advice it would be greatly appreciated. I have attatched the work i have done i apologise for it being messy

How can I lock down a branch in Integrity ?

Hello,   My company has created a 3D model for a client of us in Mexico. Now I am myself in Mexico and I want to show this model on one of our clients computers (he also wants to review the model when I am not in Mexico). But there is no program/viewer that I can find that can open the .pkg files of the 3D model.   Myself I am using Creo Elements/Direct 3D access 17.0 in which I can open the 3D model (.pkg)   My client already tried the trail version of Creo 2.0 and also Creo elements view express 4.0 but nothing seems to open the .pkg files. I need help on this. Which program should my client download/buy to be able to view the 3D model (.pkg). To all,We have a requirement to use alphabetical versions on rare occasions due to an existing process from configuration management. I would like to know how to add alphabetical version to my existing numeric versioning scheme. Hi all,I am fairly new to Mathcad, and am attempting to solving a 2-D system of equations within a program block as shown below. The section of code that I am attempting to use to solve my SOE begins with'Given'and ends with'vvec <-- Find(V11val,V21val)'and unfortunately this isn't working. 'vvec' is currently highlighted in red and when I hover my mouse over it, a message is displayed saying 'This variable is undefined'.If I use these same 4 lines of code in a regular math block rather than in a program block, they work just fine.I'm wondering: it is necessary to use a different format when solving an SOE within a program block?Thanks for any help!

Hi All, I have a problem here when i open any part for simulation using creo simulate 2.0 stand alone app it opens the part and suddenly blink & disappear without displaying any warning or error. I am using creo 2.0 student edition date code M010. I am using this on windows 8.1, 4 GB of ram, Intel core i3 3rd Generator Processor and 1 Gb Graphics of Nvidia Geforce 630M.Kindly help. Thanks

Can anyone help me out to get the ID of the very Last item present in Integrity? We have a workaround, that is create an item and the ID returned is the Id of the Last item in Integrity. But the restriction is, I dont want to create an Item in Integrity.

As I have stated before I am new to CREO and have only been using it about 2 months. I have a file that we obtained from one of our chassis suppliers and the datum planes are inconsistent with the way I need to use the chassis that is in the file. The side view in the attached file has the cab of the chassis pointing down and I need to rotate it 90 degrees clockwise where the chassis has the wheels down and is parallel to what would be the ground.
