I cannot seem to reproduce the issue, but I recently had the symbolic solver return something like (10x^5)(y^3)(xy) for (5x^3)(y^2)(2x^2)(y^2). In other words, it was simplified but not _completely_ simplified. Is there a reason it would do that?ThanksJoe

Hi All, I'm a recent convert to creo and I'm really enjoying it. Something I've found that is a little irritating is the default drawing mode text size is very small on my screen. I've been looking for over an hour trying to find the correct place to increase this without any luck. The settings I have tried just modified the general UI text size which was fine as the defaults.   I'm able to work but sometimes I have a hard time seeing what the dimension actually is.   Any help is greatly appreciated.   This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello,As the title suggests, I'm looking at trying to plot the flow rate or diameter for an orifice plate for a range of temperatures and pressures. I'd like to get a contour or 3D plot. However, whenever I do try the 3D or contour plots, I can't seem to get them to work unless I drop all units before hand and remember as I do the inputs, what my scale is. When dealing with anything temperature wise, this is rather frustrating.Attached is my worksheet, of which I'm looking to get the plot working for a range of Temps & Pressures. I'm currently looking at sonic flows, and am wondering to what extent does the temperature and the pressure have an impact on the flow rate that will be produced for a given diameter, or vise versa. I'd also be curious, if say temperature over a range isn't very impactful, the graph of the mass flow rate vs. Pressure and Diameter. I'm interested in plotting it this way as a jet engine will change its output of T&P, and the mass flow you get out will va

Hello,So I have noticed whenever I get ready to submit a homework or print the worksheet to a PDF using adobe, that it doesn't support Tahoma font. I'm wondering if anybody has a work around for this, either with overwritting the defualt mathcad templates or finding this text file to import into adobe.Generally I try to open a new template I created for the defualt with Times New Roman as the defualt text, but sometimes I forget and it is a pain to go back and refix all of it. I have also tried to set Times New Roman as the defualt text in Mathcads Templates, but I get an error trying to save it. [The file type is not supported. Prime Exception 20140218_122907.log].

Hi,I'm not an experinced user and I've spent already several ours trying to identify the problem. Randomly it happens that some variables are not recognized. See the print screen. I'm suspecting 1) settings/preferences are not correct or 2) mathcad 15 has a bug. I reinstalled it, cleaned the registries. Not a solution. I attached the file also. I would apreciate your help. From the instructions, it seems that it is a lot easier to create a new number sequence for an object via a non-modeled datastore sequence than a modeled datastore sequence. The thing that concerns me about the non-modeled sequence though is in the help instructions it says "When a non-modeled sequence is created, the database schema objects are not included in the Windchill introspection information. Therefore, some tools that rely on this information (e.g.Windu, upgrade tools) will treat these objects as unrelated to Windchill." Does this mean that there are problems when you do an upgrade, like from 10.1 to 10.2? Would you have to recreate them?Thank you,Brian

I am doing something really simple in Creo 2.0. I am backing out a bundle from a connector that has some wires inside.When trying to route the same bundle back in, it tries to join all the wires to the other end of the wires, rather than the end of the bundle.Is there a way to turn off the auto wire route or whatever this is trying to do??I'm hoping I'm just doing something wrong here, but I don't think so.

Hello,Just trying to express the polynomials in descending order. It is basically doing the Lagrange's Polynomial for a given Zeta value and I have the number of node points as an input as well. I'm just trying to make all of the outputs in the same format.

Hello,   I am looking for 2 config options I was told that existed by multiple Creo/ Pro E instructors but they / myself were unable to find them.   1) When I go into "show model annotations" everything is checked by default, I want it unchecked by default. Sometimes I get over excited with my centermouse button and select every dimension   2) When I start a new sketch by default the field is waaaaay out. ex. Can anyone tell me if Transparent View is available in CREO 2.0 Parametrics? When I expand Display Style I do not see Transparent as an option.

Just tried to integrate vericut with Creo yesterday. When Vericut is launched from Creo, version 7.1.5 launches. I spoke with IT (new machine) and 7.1.5 has never been installed on the machine. Hello,Does anyone know how to control the slope (or end tangency) of a pspline or cspline curve? I'm using MathCad 15.I want to input definition points (using x and z vectors) to create a spline equation z(x). The part I'm having problems with is trying to force the spline to have zero slope at the definition points. I've attached a sheet to help with the explanation. Any ideas?In case this might help, I'm writing the sheet to evaluate a post-tensioned concrete beam with multiple spans. The function will be used throughout the sheet to define the tendons.

Hey Guys,I am wondering if there is a way i copy/paste things inside of a workspace. I have this Change Task, it allows me to copy my CAD documents, but i want to paste them in my workspace, and i dont see a paste function within my workspace tabs. Is there a special customization that can allow me to do so?? Otherwise i have to search each individiual part and add it to my workspace.... where if i have a task i can just simply copy and paste them into my workspace. Thank you!Brock
