Hey guys, I am a Chemical Engineering Grad Student taking a programming class, which has never been one of my strongest subjects.I am currently trying to solve a system of differential equations governing an emergency shut down in a water reservoir system using the ODE Solve Block in Mathcad and I am trying to monitor the affect of the diameter of my tank (Di) from 5ft to 10ft, and the value of the downstream head (hstar) from 0 to hstart in the program attached. However, I keep getting that my variable Di is undefined since it is what I am inputing into the builtin Odesolve function. If I define Di as having units of ft, the Odesolve function tells me I have too many initial conditions.Please help me figure out how to have Di as a changing input variable while having it defined in the preliminary equations!!!!Thank you!Emilia

Hi,is there a way to scale the whole UI of Creo? One of my colleagues has bought a new Laptop with a screen res of 2880x1620 @ 15" screen. I can scale windows to 150% and everything gets bigger (Texts Icons etc...) except for Creo. In Creo everything becomes really really tiny!greets Sam

I just authorized the use of my student edition from the textbook I purchased and was surprised to see that it only works on Windows platforms. Doesn't say this anywhere in the book or on the slip that came with the authorization code for the download. A   Anyone know how to get this work on my Mac? I just installed Mathcad 15 version M020 and found that the Greek letters in equations don't appear if the font is italics (doesn't appear to matter what basic font is used).There are two files attached. Both are the same file except one uses Times New Roman italics and one is the same with Time New Roman regular for the equation style. If you click on the H in the one with italics you will see a huge box and cursor that goes on for many pages.My previous version, M005, did not have this problem.This problem caused the converter to Prime to not work until I changed the font to regular in the MC15 file.Has this problem been reported to the PTC support group?

I made a spur gear setup that has a high number of digits when you work out the pitch circle ratios.   When you check the properties of the mechanism session, the ratio is truncated to only 5 digits.   This causes a mismatch pretty quickly in a simulation. I have tried every way possible to define these including generic gears with user defined connections. User defined input will take a relation value with the high number of digits but the output doesn't change. It still calculated with 5 digits.   Anyone else run into this, and have any of you reported this? I want to lock a whole sandbox recursively by CLI.I use the command: si lock --gui --filter=!file:*.html -R --revision=:member --sandbox=$MKS.sbThe problem is, if a member is already locked by me I will get a window mentioning it, that I have to click to continue the process.How can I lock and not being prompted if files are already locked by me, by CLI?Many thanks

Version: MathCad Prime 3.0What I'm trying to do: Simply print the worksheet to a pdf.System I'm Running On: Windows 8.1, Asus HardwareThe Issue: All the math regions come out fine, but the text regions are garbled nonsense. Currnetly my only recourse is to print to Microsoft OneNote and then print to PDF there. Please someone have an easier solution!Many Thanks,Daniel

WF4, M220 here. In Pro/Detail (my favorite...), when I insert a Centre of Gravity symbol from the On Entity Attachment palette, If I drop it onto a Point or a vertex, say, the attachment point is just a fraction away from the centre of the symbol.It sits correctly in the vertical direction, but maybe 1/10 of the symbol diameter to the left of centre in the horizontal direction. As a result, if I zoom in to the C of G datum point on the drawing, the symbol does not line up with it. Is it me? Am I doing something wrong? Hello,The Project Manager did not checkpoint his project but only applied labels to members.Now, he is trying to retrieve all members which have a certain label.The Filter feature in Configuration Management, "Members at Label", only applies to whatever exists on the current configuration of the project.Is there a way to find all members of this project (also the dropped ones) that have a certain label? Maybe a CLI command?Thank youcristina

I needed to install Creo View on two machines. I went and installed it the way I always have. However, after it installed the first time you try to pull up a viewable the Creo View screen goes black and then the viewable in the Detail tab goes black and you cannot click on it. The computers are Windows 7 with IE8 and integrated graphics. We are on WC 10.1 m040. Other users/machines are fine so that is what is baffling to me. Anyone ideas?Thank you,Brian

It's possible run a wfprocess without primaryObject in Windchill 7,but not enable at Workitem page in Windchill 10 M020.I create wfprocess by API and not assign wtpart or wtdocument at primary Object in old process system(windchill7).I try to upgrade Windchill to 10 M020, but it show errror messgae when user entry workitem page.The show message mean Windchill 10 not allow processs work without primaryObject. It a bad new for me.How can I do that with a empty primaryObject wfprocesses?

While building our current FTC robot model in Creo, we noticed quite a few missing parts! Notably the "Inside C" bracket, "Inside L" bracket, the TETRIX Flats (64mm, 96mm, 160mm, & 288mm), and a few other things.These parts have been around since at least last season. The KoP we downloaded from PTC is still named "Ring it Up" and I'm afraid it hasn't been updated. Any parts numbered past 739197 (eg: 739274) do NOT exist.Does anyone have the Creo models for these parts, or know why they aren't incldued in the KoP download?Thank you from FTC Team 5526!!

Got an issue,I sketch my sweep trajectory in a new sketch. I then start a sweep feature and select the sketch as my trajectory, sketch the section, etc. and end up with the sweep I want. After this process, my sketch still shows in very obvious blue on my gray part. I can open the part and hide the sketch, but upon reopen, it comes right back. HOW DO I KEEP THIS HIDDEN? So simple but it's driving me crazy. We have a couple of older, backup laptops that run Windows XP 32.  They had older versions of Creo 2.0 (M0404 or M060, I believe) that ran OK.  I upgraded them to M080 and now Creo 2.0 Parametric won't start.   I tried using our launch script that copies configs, etc. and hits parametric.exe directly.  I get the prompt to choose a license but Creo doesn't load. I tried deleting all configs from the text folder and launching parametric.exe directly from Windows explorer with the same results. I installed via the XML based silent installer with an XML file generated on a Win7 machine, so I tried running configure.exe to re-setup Parametric.  NO change.   I have not tried a complete uninstall and reinstall.  That's next but I thought I'd ping the group here first to see if anyone had any other ideas.   The documentation indicates that Creo 2.0 is supported on XP, both 32 & 64 bit.  The older build did run fine.   Any suggestions?

Hello, I'm a french student, and I've started to learn technical drawing this year in Creo Element 5.0 School edition But after one month of good work, Creo became very slow, all tools don't really answer or just run extremely slowly. I don't think that the problem comes from my laptop because he is powerful (intel I5, 6144 MB RAM). I have been using Creo Elements/direct personal edition for the past month or so designing a bike. I thought the entire time that I would be able to export to a usable file type for machining like step, but since I cant, does anybody know of any way to convert/export the .pk2 files to .stp or .step?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Can I add/remove commands within the main ribbon interface? I RMB on the ribbon and select "Customize the ribbon" but the add/remove commands are greyed out. I found that if I pick home, data tabs I can not add or remove any of the previously placed commands. Has PTC locked this option? I have downloaded and installed build M070 but seem to remember in previous builds I could adjust these.Thank you...

I have converted a MC15 file to Prime 3 and the numerical integration function does not appear to work on one of my functions.The problem begins near the end of the file, after Eq E1.13. The definition of the problem function is farther up the file.I've tested some options for changing the writing of the equation as you will see, but no luck. What am I doing wrong?
