Hello, I am having an issue with Step Import. When I remove material from a STEP part, the holes remain (see photo). The only items in the model tree are the cutout extrusion that i've just created and the rest of the part is called "import feature id4."How do I remove the hole outline?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi!I have an iterative process further down the Mathcad-sheet (see attached).In the first while statement a starting value for f_sxcr and f_sycr is given. At the very end after the second while statement the values forf_sxcr and f_sycr are then calculated.The return value however is retrieved from the initial starting value in the results.Is there a simple way to retrieve the calculated value in the results?Thanks in advance!

Sorry if this has been answered before. I have looked around for the last hour or two and can not seem to find anything about this. I've created my own function to solve this issue, but I can't help but think that it should be easier. I would like to access an array with another array of indices. Unlike a range, these indices are non-sequential. When I try to access the array just like a range would, it says that the value must be an integer. I've also tried vectorizing it, to no avail.Any insight you guys might have would be greatly appreciated. I'm using Mathcad Prime 2.0, by the way.

I have noticed when working on a drawing sometimes the Section arrows have just gone crazy and have exploded to outrageous positions. And the point is not on the surface.I'm looking for a solution to do this in Creo Parametric 2.0, it's to measure an angle I need to create another part.I don't care the angle can be defined the sketcher environment or as a measurement feature, the most important thing is to get this angle.The point is on a surface through the center of the revolved surface. Is there a way to upgrade Wildfire 4 to Wildfire 5 offline?I run Pro-E Wildfire 5 on my XP box but it keeps crashing (PC issue - not Pro-E) so I need to install the same on another box. Somehow the Wildfire 5 disks have gone missing and all I have is Wildfire 4 M090 disks. I've installed this on a Win7-64 box and pointed it to my old PC to get the license.The problem is that the Wildfire 4 installation cannot open any files that use family tables. It just refuses to find the files that are sitting in the same folder. I assume that this may have been a new feature in Wildfire 5.I would have used the same disks when I installed Pro-E on my old XP box. I don't remember but I guess that I must have upgraded that box to Wildfire 5 via an online upgrade. The add/remove programs tool on my XP box shows that Pro/Engineer Release Wildfire 4.0 Datecode M090 is installed as well as Pro/Engineer Release Wildfire 5.0 Datecode M010.The new Win7-64 machine is not on the internet. I have a simple square bracket 4x4x2. The corners all have a .5" radius.In the PRO/E drawing environment. I have displayed all my views and dimensions I need.I want to display a reference view of just the sketch I created in the modeling environment....a top view....without the radius features. Hello,I am unable to get the solve block function to work with what I"m trying to find. Essentially I'm starting a low level solve block that I hope to expand on. Currently I have a fluid that moves through a pipe, and has energy transfered to it. I am making an assumption that the surface temperature is constant.I have no idea why the solve block is failing. Shouldn't it solve for my temperature out?The expansion I'm wanting to do is solve for the Temperature lost in a fluid as it moves through a line. I'm wanting to use the ambient temperature only, and I won't know the inside or outside temperatures of the wall or the ending temperature. I will though, know that the convection on the inside of the pipe = conduction through the pipe = convection to ambient settings which should equal the temperature lost of the fluid.I'm unable to get the first part of the solve block to work properly. Any help is much appreciated.

I used to be able to do this in CREO 1.0 by selecting the arrow I wanted to hide, right clicking, and selecting "arrow style," and it only changed the one arrow. I have not been able to do this in 2.0. If I change the arrow style it changes both arrows. Is there a different way to do this?

Hello,Has anyone run into this? Or know a work around? I have created my own hol. files to be used on drawings and am very happy how they work. These hol. files are stored on my harddrive in the text folder with the defaults. My problem is this: if someone else opens my part files, the holes change from unc or unf to iso. I believe it changes specifically to iso because it is alphabetically at the top of the list of default hol. files. Also, if I open a file I created before my custom hol. files, they also will default to iso. I've heard talk of using a family table with hol. files, would this be a better way of using custom files? I doubt everyone is going to want to switch to my hole files, plus what would then happen to old drawings? Any help would be awesome! I really don't want to have to go back to the default hole files and then go thru each file and change it back to default. How did you come to the calculation of the maximum payload for each design? Is it in a worksheet or other source? So if we make our own design or redesign a given one we can take this into consideration.

Hi Mathcad Users,I am using PTC Mathcad Express Prime 3.0 for the first time.In the attached file, I have G & w being pulled correctly using the vlookup function, but I would like the results in full Matrix format that I could then use for further work - Basically, I want my G & w matrices to look like G_desired & w_desired.Any practical tips on how to accomplish this would be appreciated.Thanks,Joseph Thodiyil

Teams,We were finally able to get our hands on some (hopefully all) of the new Block Party - Tetrix kit of parts models.I decided the best way to go was to just add the new models to the existing Ring it Up kit. All of the new models have a "2013" suffix in the file name so you can easily grab just those if you'd like.Party on!Adam

Is there a way to split large tabels in MCPrime 2.0? I have a table with roughly 100+ data points for 2 variables that i need to reference from and having it all in a straight table it would take up two pages and look horrible. It would look a lot better if i could split the table into 3 sections and put it on one page.EDIT:To Clarify i have an imperical table that has a corection factor for a given temperature. It has 100+ data points. The temperature is calculated earlier in the document so i want the table put out the corection factor which i will use in further calculations
