Hi everyone, I'm having some issues with a very large and complex program. I'm working with very little steps of time and I have to do more or less like 600.000 iterations to get a good result. The problem is that I'm working with matrices and at the end of the program I get results of the different variables wich are displacement, speed, acceleration and force in a vector that contains 3 components for each iteration that represents the displacements, speed... of 3 masses. I want to represent these results and I need to get for each step of time the result of the correspondent vector.Actually the program does what I want (take it as an exmple of what I want to obtain) but in a very inneficient way, it trasnpose the big matrix and extracts each element of it, and creates a new vector with these elements, but it doesn't allow me to increase the numbers of iterarions needed to solve the problem because my computer runs out of memory in that step.So, finally, please don't pay much attenti

I'm working on an o.o.b version of 10.1.I have a group "View Released" who I want to only see Released objects and download.The group has a Profile that stops all modifications available via the profile.At the Default PDM Library I created a policy to allow that group to Read wtobjects at Released. Works great.Problem is they can see In Work and they could check out In Work!I then created a policy to deny everything but read on all objects for that group. That stops the Check out at In Work.I don't want to create a policy to deny Read at each object state as that would get complicated.Anyone know what is allowing visibility

I need to send a notification when an item is created against a specific project. the recipient of the email should be the Project Manager of that project and I am using a FVA field to copy the project manager into the newly created item. I then created a trigger to fire on newly created items and added the advancedemail.js assigning the FVA field to the recipient. I have tried both a Pre and Post trigger but what seems to happen is the FVA field is not populated until after the trigger has fired therefore sending no email.Surely the Post event trigger should send the email to the user in the FVA field as suggested.What am I doing wrong or does anyone have an alternative.

Hello there, I was wondering if any of you could help me with this.I have a DITA file named DITA file A (topic file/ map file) which references DITA file B.Now, I have to make a change in the referenced file DITA file B, but I'm not sure if this DITA file B is referenced by other files or not.If I change the DITA file B, I think it will also change the DITA files which reference this DITA file B.Is there any way to find out if the referenced DITA file B is also used by other files?Thank you very much in advance.Tomomi

Hey I'm kinda new to Mathcad, but it works ;DNow I'm wondering if there is any possibility to use "on error" programming. (see attachement)I want to return "1" if the match function found at least one zero element in a collumn of the given and "0" if not."0" won't work because of the error message by Matchcad. The example is in German, so here the commands in English:vergleich(z,A) = match(z,A)And my own procedure: istNullVorhanden="isAnyZeroElement" I use Mathcad 15. I also try to find a clue in previous community entries, but I only found the statement that "on error" programming is a way for the match() function.Thank you for every help ♥

Hello,I am trying to get a list with the X,Y,Z, and yaw, pitch, roll for coordinate systems that I have patterened across a curved surface. I have not even been able to figure out how to pull the location data for just 1 coordinate system. Can anyone help me on this?

Hi, I am running Creo Parametric 1.0 and I am having problems applying constraints for an object with centrifugal loads.To start with I have a simple solid steel disc 400mm dia by 50mm thick. Greetings,I have been asked to create drawings useing Dual Dimensioning. I actually have two questions here. First of all, when creating weld notes, what is the industry standard for Dual Dimensioning. I have english on my primary dual in the config, and mm for my secondary. Can I add the mm in brackets on the weld notes? and How would I do that in Creo? Secondly, How do I set up the dual dimensioning to properly reflect the decimal places. At the moment, when I set the decimal places to 3 in the dimensioning pop up box, I get three decimal places on the english, but 2 on the mm. I need 3 on both, but I have to set the dimensioning each and every time I create a dimension. On that page i want to show some additional informations which i get from the class which i have written for that actions. It works fine for simple return functions. EDIT: I am an idiot. I have since realised that I had to type my license code in at some point. I didn't. I have typed it in and 'installed' a license using the Download Manager. I opened Creo 2.0 and the same error came up, even after restarting! I am trying to write a for loop that will take values from two different matrices and create one 2x1 matrix and one 2x2 matrix. The purporse of the 2x1 and the 2x2 is to take the inverse of the 2x2 times the 2x1 to solve for 2 unkown variables. The matrices that are being pulled from are 15x3 originally. I am assuming one of my 3 unknowns to be equal to 1 and therefore enabling me to solve two equations for two unknowns simultaneously. I am using mathcad prime 2.0 to do this. I will attach a worksheet showing what I am trying to do. At the bottom of the worksheet is an italicized section named "Solve for Un-Normalized Force Vector". I have it done for one set of values but dont want to have to go through and redo it 14 more times to get my results. I am new to programming loops and such so I am trying to teach myself as much as possible. Any help and suggestions are much appreciated.

Hi All,I want to customize PDMLink's Promotion Request Workflow. If the creator chose 3 partipants during promotion process, I want the workflow to wait for the Approvers to complete their activities, but if any of them rejects their task, I want the process to end itself and comeback to the original lifecycle state.Current workflow process allows only 'All' or 'Any' for the participants. I'm currently working with 'All' and it works fine for 'Approve' but even if any participant rejects, it will wait for others to complete their tasks. I don't want this. I want to end the process as soon as someone Rejects the task.I need 'All' for Approve and 'Any' for Reject.What custom code is required which I need to write in this Workflow to get it done?Thanks,Wasim

I've looked on here for some information but with no luck. I need to be able to add centerlines to arcs when I am making final manufacturing drawings. Hi,I am relatively new to programming and to Mathcad as well. I am using Mathcad Prime 2.0. I currently have a 15x3 matrix and a 1x3 matrix. I am trying to create a for loop that will call out each column of the 15x3 matrix and then subtract off the 1x3 matrix from the column and then output all 15 answers back into matrix form. I am a first time user with the discussion board so I apologize if I am not clear with what I want. I will attach the worksheet that I am currently working with. Any and all help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

In the attached MathCAD 14 worksheet I'm attempting to create a new vector that is 2 times a particular value within another vector. More specifically, I'd like the (12 position) vector a.d to be 2 multiplied by the second value in all 12 C.ard vectors. How to tell a.d to successively address the second value in each C.ard vector and multiply it by 2?
