Hello,Why b in this example doesn't get assigned?

Everyone,I am trying to set up a summation equation the that uses a combination of a current instance of a variable as well as the previous one. Anyone have any idea on how I would set this up?Thank you

Currently I have one soft type change task that I have been using for over a year and it is set to a a custom task workflow. I have created another soft type change task and new custom task workflow. We will call them CCT2 and CCW2. The originals are called CCT1 and CCW1. From the change notice, when I create my task, I can choose either CCT1 or CCT2. No matter which one I choose, I get CCW1 for my process workflow. How do I get CCT2 to use CCW2 workflow? I copied CCW2 from CCW1 and modified the flow for a shortened version of CCW1.   I'm using Windchill 10.1.   Thanks for any help.   Brian

Dear All Experts,at the moment i have a situation on assessing a cylidrical pipe compressive buckling study with few variables which are1) external pressure2) compressive force3) pipe length.i have manage to obtain a sets of effective axial force by considering 1) and 2) variables in an equation. End up with a sets of tables whereby values in row is due to external pressure variation and column is due to compressive force variation.later i need to check the allowable buckling force which dependet on 3rd variables which is the length 3)Finally i need to compare both allowable and calculated effective axial force. How can i do it in a mathcad without doing it manually.in attached spreadsheet i did put some remark for better understanding.Appreciate your help and at the moment please ignore the theory on concept of the study in the spreadsheet.Thank you-Akmal-

Anyone have a guide for doing this in Creo? Apparently it's built into solidworks, which is fine, except I'm on Pro/E. I've found this video: http://www.e-cognition.net/pages/Tubular.html which alludes to the ability to export by stressing the importance of keeping things up to date, but I'm wondering if anyone has a user-program to do it, or if there's something I'm missing.   Cut lists would be great, those and fishmouth unrolling (sheet-metal) would be amazing.   Ideas?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. In my company we have a floating server license for Mathcad Prime 2.0, I just got a new single license for my computer and I've asked an intern in Europe to download a 30 day trial version. Result for all of these: Mathcad Prime 2.0 help does not work and returns a Java.lang.nullpointerexception error.I filed a case and have been through hours of uninstalling and installing Java versions, turning on and off McAffee (not really appreciated by our IT folks), uninstalling and installing the Mathcad Prime program, rebooting the system and so on. Nothing makes a difference. Upon searching the internet, it appears that this particular error can only be avoided by correct programming. So, here I sit with a brand spanking new Mathcad Prime 2.0 program, ready and eager to use it, but what is one to do without help? Where to turn? Since it appears to have gotten silent on my case lately, I turn to the broader community. Is there a way to get the help files in PDF form or even on paper, so I can

Hello I want to find the value of us for which Cd takes 5 pF. How to proceed?

I am trying to use the find function to solve for two variables from two equations. It says my variable is undefined, however. Is this because I included units in some of my known variables?

We have a few different licenses on our server with different capabilities. For example, a couple of them and only those, are able to use the Flexible Modeling module. Therefore, if someone wants to use that particular functionality, they need to get one of the pertinent licenses. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any easy way to indicate which license you want to start up with. So the unfortunate person just keeps starting up instances of Creo until they get one of the licenses that allow the stuff they want, then close all the "loser" instances. Kind of a stupid way to do this.Is there a way for us to explicitly demand a specific license or licenses upon Creo startup? Options to include in the shortcut?

I'm sure this is a trivial question, but I'm relatively new to MathCad Prime.Can anybody see whats wrong with this:The value for m4 is computed earlier in the worksheet (obviously, as otherwise mr would be invalid. I have not put units on k (JK-1) of E (J) but it doesn't make any difference anyway.So why won't it compute Ppen? Is it becase Eg and E are so small? Or, more likely, what am I doing wrong?

Hi guys, this is my first post, and I am glod to be here. I have searched for this, but Im just getting used to the forum interface and not sure If I am searching right.   I am wondering if it is possible to switch axes in a model. I am using Parametric 2.0 Student Edition to create files for 3d printing. I created two simple files while learning to use creo, and I realized that I created the models with the z axis in the wrong direction causing the model to sit improperly in my slicer program.   I can easily recreate these 2 models, but It would be great to also know if this is possible, and how to do it for future references.   Best RegardsThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. There is a command at Proe 4.0 : Info ==> audit trail , it can generate the "Audit Trail Report", but at Creo 1.0, I can't find it .

I currently have Creo 2.0 Student Edition installed on my computer and have recently obtained a license for Creo 2.0 Academic Edition. Is it possible to update the license of my current installation to gain access to the student edition's locked features, without having to reinstall the program?

I would like to create an animation with Mathcad 15 which utilizes random numbers. As the sheet is recalculated for every animation step I have to find a means to keep some values randomly generated in on step of the animation to be used in the next one.I have found two ways to accomplish that which both have their disadvantges and therefore would like to know if anybody can think of a third way.(1) I could use Seed(..) to generate the same set of random numbers for each step(2) I could write the values to keep in a file and read them in for each animation stepAs the values are large matrices which take some time to calculate I would prefer those values to be kept in the sheet / in memory without the need to regenerate all of them (1) or to work with file I/O (2).The only additional method I could think of is using scripted components in some way, but I'm not versed well enough to do so.Any ideas welcome.Werner

My assembly has, for reasons unknown, become disconnected. How do I reconnect it so parts will update again?EDIT: I backed up to an earlier version, which gets back the connections, but now I have to repeat work. It would be nice to know how to fix this for the future.

We are looking into creating/using WTparts....does anyone know of a way to automatically create them for all the data this is already in Windchill?

HiI tried to find the max value of a solution from odesolve.As argument I used a vector. It works fine for the direct solution of odesolve. But if I try to use a function on the solution (derivate with respect to time) I get stucked.You have to scroll down a little bit and you will find the explained problem.Thanks in advance for helping me out.
