Hello Mathcad community!I'm unexpirienced Mathcad user, but I was able to solve all my problems and misunderstandings by myself. Till now.I'm need to calculate thickness of segments of the wall for container. It's sort of empirical method(so there is bit mess with units) and requires simple iteration.I had done some programming in Mathcad prime succesfully, but now I can't find where my mistake is.I'm attaching sheet and imgs.Thank you for any kind of help.PS.I'm using Mathcad Prime 2.0

Hi all,I am trying to solve the following problem:For some analysis using the variable "xi" I need to construct a vector. In this vector, every entry is a function of xi^k, in which k is the row number and xi must stay a variable. Now, I could just enter this by hand as a matrix, however, would it not that I need about 100 rows. Yeah, that is too time consuming.So, I am looking for a method to construct this matrix automatically but have not succeeded yet. What I want is some function/program that, when putting in the amount of rows (k) and the function of xi f(xi,k), it constructs a vector with xi as a variable and k evaluated depending on the row position. I attached the file for clarification.Do you know a solution? Thanks a lot!

Strange issue with maybe a simple explanation. I have a MCAD file that used to work with version 12, but with ver 15 gives a different (incorrect) result. I suspect issues with global versus local interpretation of arguments, but all I know is that it used to work fine. I didn't see anythign in th help that jumped out at me relative to why this would have used to work, but will not now.Any pointers would be appreciated.thanks,Brian

I have programmed a loop calculation to obtain three variables which I want to obtain in a Table format and then plot two variables on a graph. The varibles I need in the Table format is a, Lrp and Kr. Once I obtain these values, I want to plot Kr on the y axis and Lrp on the x axis on the graph shown in the mathcad sheet. Basically I should have a locus of (Lrp,Kr) points on the graph. I have attached the mathcad sheet. Your help is deeply appreciated. Thank you.Ranjan

Hi,   I have been trying to incorporate all callout notes for ISO and for UNC/UNF into two tables. This includes all of our applicable scenarios: Tapped, Clearance, C'BORE and C'SINK.   Did this by adding a DEFAULT_CALLOUT_FORMAT_DATA section to each table and it works brilliantly.   The only problem I have is that my UNC/UNF (INCH) table will not display the Medium Fit option when defining a Clearance hole.     The UNC/UNF (INCH) table (In Testing) was created after the ISO table was completed and deployed by doing a save as from the ISO table and updating the THREAD_DATA values.   Does anyone have any tips for resolving this issue?   Regards,   Jason KnightenThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Early today (and the last several weeks) I've been using Creo M090. Suddenly it refused to load. I see the pro_comm_msg.exe process start followed by xtop.exe. The xtop.exe process looks like it is consuming on of my CPUs, but nothing is ever displayed and memory usage is not growing.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi all,When I send "im servers" I get back a list of three servers, production, training and sandbox. One connection was initiated using im connect, one by logging in via the Java GUI and the other changing the viewset.Is there a way to determine after the fact which connection was established by which source? How about which viewset the GUI is currently using? Both of these preferably from the command line interface.Thanks,Eric

I need some help with a 'Mill Window' roughing sequence. The tool is coming down tangent to the 'Stock' which is not safe. I would like the tool to plunge in the space around the material. Is it possible to call a servlet from jsp in windchill 10.0. I have my jsp page in location codebase\netmarkets\jsp\myfolder\myjsp. But from there I need to call my servlet which present in another location of my codebase.I have followed all the things to call a servlet from jsp but it is not working.Before that I had written my business logic in jsp itself but it throws an exception.So here I need a servlet to do that job.Somebody help me to how to call a servlet from a jsp?Do I need to change the web.xml file in tomcat or what I need to do??

Hi All,I have a stress equation that is a function of both X and Z (horizontal distance and depth).I want to produce a 2D plot of this function with a constant X and a variable Z. When I use the 2D plot and input the range variable 'z' on the vertical axis and stress(100,z) it does not give me the correct results. Any ideas?

Hi all,I am trying to do some trace analysis using a Python script that queries MKS using im commands. I'm running into some weirdness (probably from my lack of understanding) on some IDs. We have a top level Requirements document with three subordinate Requirements documents. Some of the text from the top level document is shared to the three lower level docs and one of the shared requirements is where I'm having the problemI've shown the structure with some of the "im viewissue XXXX" data for the docs below. My problem is that the last one, 464438, shows four downstream traced documents ("Satisfied By") in the GUI but nothing from "im viewissue 464438". I noticed another similar topic where a user needed to untrim in Creo Direct Modeling. I tried some of the ideas but couldn't seem to make anything work.Perhaps this works different in Creo Parametric.I have tried Edit Definition to the imported IGES. I clicked the Edit Data icon and then clicked on an edge which I deleted. Unfortunately this doesn't untrim the surface in which the edge is attached to as shown in the video.Any ideas how this would be done?
