I need help!I have I long equation, and I am trying to solve for one of the variables in the equation:K=f(a,W,K) --> solve for K, to make K=f(a,W).I have attached the mathcad.The solution for my solve function is too big, but I need to use this solution to create a plot. How do I do this??Thank you!!!

Hi all,Small question, I have a skeleton in Creo I use to extrude rods on the wireframe (orientation is in all directions, under all dieffertent angles)These rods have all the same section, but could change over design/concept.So the idea I had is to create a sketch and save it as stand alone. So I could use that skets to extruse&sweep over the sceleton.And, if the section would change, I would update the scetch so all rods change... But that sketch is only imported... no link to it, so nothing will update Tought about copy geometry and publish geometry, but then I end up with parts where I reuse geomerty, and that is not workable to extrude or sweep.I also don't want to use 'use edge' of geometry, not that stable...?Any ideas? Maybe this question has already been answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it while searching.Are Search Paths needed in any way if all of our files are stored on Windchill 10.0?I have a bunch of users who still keep their search paths in their config.pro files and I am trying to get them to clean them out. Having a bunch of random issues pertaining to bad configs. If anyone can give me a justified reason as to why we would need to keep them???I just don't see it, since all the searching is now done through eithe external or internal browser.Thanks,Erik

I have a skeleton model consisting of only datum points and curves (Picture 1). Every datum curve represents a tube or rod with 1" OD, and my plan for creating the tubes or rods is to make a swept feature on each curve. The only parameter that will change from rod to rod is length. Is it possible to automate this process in some way?I'd like to cut away the excess material at tube intersections so that I am left with good looking corners. Picture 2 is an example of the material I am wanting to get rid of. What is the best way of achieving this?I apologize if these are very basic issues. I am a student at university with much to learn! I am wondering how one uses a function within a function. For exampe: t=0,1..10f(t):=2*tthen t and f(t) are vectors of length 10. t contains the 11 numbers 0-10 and f(t) contains the 11 numbers 0 through 20Now, I need to use the values of f(t) in another equation, like:g(f(t)):=10*f(t)I should be able to get a vector of 11 numbers ranging from 0 to 200, but I can not make this work. In my actual problem I am using an ODE solver to get the values f(t) and so I can't just change the algebra. I need to use the values of f(t) in another equation? HOW DO I DO THIS

Hello everybody,I have attached a MathCad 15 worksheet. I would like to make tables of the following parameters for 3 values of alpha and for different rhos.rho values: 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, 50 and 60x1c, x2c and x3c corresponding to alpha=0.50, 0.45 and 0.40 respectively.Q1c, Q2c and Q3c - same thing.y1c, y2c and y3c - same thing.Please go to the "Xc, Qc and Yc Section" on the worksheet.Also, I would like to make some graphs of these parameters.Thank you so much for the time and help.AnoushehPS final results as an array would be OK. I guess, it can then be exported to excel. OR, can MactCad produce tables?

We are importing cad files into PDMLink for a project which will modify an existing design, and we want to maintain the numbering scheme used by the old project. How do I disable the auto generated part numbers in PDMLink 10.1.Our company currenlty doesn't have any trained admins so I need the dumbed down version, PDMLink is installed on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2.Thanks for the help.

I have a lengthy program that returns a row matrix (dN) as one of the results. What I need to do is to take the the value of the prior row and add it to the current row and iterate through the whole list. I get the result I need doing it manually, but the number of rows is variable (h) and large, +500.Any help on a quick method to run this would be appreciated. My attempts at an i=0,1.. h soultion end up in a singular answer rather than the list of values I need.

We are currently on Windchill 10.0 m040.We want to load some excel files into the system; the issue is that there is one summary document that links to different documents where the data is entered by the technicians.So far I have not been able to make this work when the files get loaded into Windchill. I have tried thru the standard browsers upload and using Desktop Integration.Am I doing something wrong or is this linking not possible utilizing Windchill?Adam

Hi!I need some help on below:I am working on a plastic casing that has two main components as shown in the very first picture. There is already an inner cavity (turbine shaped cut to accept water) that ends to a rectangular opening. Client asked me to add material and extend this nozzle so that in the next 15cm to turn into a circle or ellipsis of same area.In other words, we need to cut a almost tubular nozzle, which starts as rectangular and ends smoothly as circle or ellipsis.Pls see in red above, the rectangular surface where removing material should start.Since the ELLIPTICAL OUTLET OF NOZZLE should be created by the assembly of the two parts, we need half of the cut at each part.That is why I have sketched a curve on the surface that we be removed to have it a refererce.I tried Variable Section Sweep , with two trajectories that lead from the rencangular to the hald-ellipsis shape and I sketched a half ellipsis section.And I get this:which of course is not variable section cut, b
