We need to create change notice and pre-defined change tasks (about 10) under it programmatically. Windchill version is 9.1 M40. Can anyone share code related to this?

We've settled on what we think will be our directory structure for storing CAD files so they are easier to find. Right now the are many of them in the root directlor of our Windchill account. We wish to move them to a new directory. We've tried to change the location and either get an error or a suggestion to use the "move" command/action to do that. We have never found the move command. Is there an easy way to do the move or do we need to open each part/assembly and check it into the new location? Can it be done by checking them out and checking them into a new location? Hi All,Please review the enclosed plot of 3 waves of Sin(theta * degree) plotted against degrees.I have also plotted a bold black vertical line that intersects all 3 sin plots at approximat 51.4285 degrees.This does look close, but I am trying to setup a solve to confirm this exact value.I have tried but I cannot seem to get sensible results.Please could any one show me how to find the exact value (in degrees) of the vertical black line intersection.Many thanks for your help & attention,Best regards,Lea...

Probably my is a trivial question. I started using reference files to take advantage of repetitive calculations. So the scenario could be like the following.Main Worksheet [1]: defines var1; var2, then it references file .mcd Worksheet [2].Linked Worksheet [2]: expects var3 and gives outputVar1.I would like to put in [2] a line of programming that if no var3 is defined, then var3:=0. Yet I tried "on error" function, but I realized that it does not work in this case.Is there a way to assign a value to a variable when it is "on error" AND when it is "not defined" above (in my case in the main worksheet)? Is there anything within Mathcad similar to an IsUndefined function? I'm trying to include some built-in checks for a template I'm working on.Section "A" of the template has a check "A" (true or false). If check "A" fails, the user needs to continue on to section "B" of the template where exists a check "B". At the end of the document, I want to include something such as CheckAB := CheckA OR CheckB. Since a variable is undefined in section "B" of the document, CheckB has an undefined error, so my final CheckAB function returns an undefined error. I'd like for it to ignore the undefined variable in CheckB and just return the value of CheckA.Something like this:CheckAB: if(IsUndefined(CheckB),CheckA,CheckA OR CheckB)Similarly, it could be written as:CheckAB := CheckA OR if(IsUndefined(CheckB),False,CheckB)IsUndefined(x) would return true if x is undefined, and false if x is defined.Edit: I should clarify that this template will be used by persons running v13-v15.

I'm wondering what the bottleneck is when running Mechanica analysis, hardware-wise.We're currently running a large analysis on a 6 GB, quad-core machine. All the temporary files and results are going to the local hard disk, so there shouldn't be any significant network access (and the Task Manager graphs shows none).Although Mechanica has recognised four cores (and occasionally uses them, getting more than 25% CPU usage), most of the time it's only at 5-10% CPU.What's it waiting for? What hardware would increase the speed for these analyses? Hello All, I am a chemical engineering student and a first time MathCAD user. I am currently running MathCAD 2.0 Prime, and to be blunt, I have no clue what I am doing when it comes to solving a system of ODE. I have attached a worksheet with a problem that I am trying to solve for my Process course. I have reproduced a correct solution in a CAS that I am more familiar with, but have no dice with MathCAD 2.0 Prime. The odesolve function is spitting a "Variable is undefined, check that the label is set correctly" message at me. I haven't the slightest clue how to fix this error. Could a more briefed user please impart some knowledge onto me so I can learn how to solve a system of ODEs in Mathcad?Thanks, Alex Holburn

Has anyone else experienced this?I have been using Mathcad 15 on a daily basis for years. I used it yesterday. Today when I clicked on it I got a popup saying the hostid did not match that on my computer. I looked at the host ID in the license and sure enough it did not match that in my laptop (ipconfig/all). How could this have occurred and how can it be fixed ? Is it possible that automatic windows updatse could have caused this ?

My company has mutliple ldap servers and the current server we point to is being excessed by the end of the year. I would like to get the location of a point from a Coordinate System rather than a distance. Is there a way to get the distance to PNT0 from ASM_DEF_CSYS in1) the X direction?2) the Y direction?3) the Z direction?Other than manually measuring each one every time I do this in a model?
