I have done pressure calculations in normal worksheet format and i got results without any error. but it needs to change a value once for every iterations. So i moved on to programming. I compiled the program using while loop and break conditions. After completing and running the program i got error message showing "encountered a floating point error".Dont know how to fix the bug.. Can anyone help me pls?????????

Is there a step or a way in Mathcad 15 wherein the numerical values of variables are reflected in the formula and then displayed in Mathcad? For example, the main formula is a = b*d^2, with b = 4 and d = 5, can I display in Mathcad "a = 4 x 5^2" and then eventually get a = 100. If you have any suggestion on how to make this happen in Mathcad please help me. One of the reviewer of my calculation is requesting this to make sure that the program is spitting out the correct answer or calling out the correct values of the variables. I know it sounds silly but he is the reviewer and I need to abide by his request, so if anyone can help on this I'd really appreciate it. Thanks..Jay B.

I converted and opened a protected Mathcad 14 document using an evaluation version of Mathcad 15 and Mathcad Prime 2.0.To my surprise, calculations don't work anymore.To my great dismay, the sections of the original file that were protected are not anymore, I have access to the proprietary algorithms that were intended to be hidden.I am just a user of this sheet, but I can bet there are sheets out there that are meant to stay protected and people that will be happy to see them.The protection function also seems to have been forgotten in this software installment!I hope this will help preserve someone's sanity.....

I realize this is a rather worn out question and problem, but for the life of me I cannot get it to work. I am trying to find the molar volume using the guess-find model using an equation where all the other variables have already been defined. I have guessed a value, then written the equation out using a Boolean equals sign, and then told Mathcad to find my variable. However, no matter how I have tried rearranging, redefining units, etc. it keeps saying that my variable is undefined. If anyone can help me fix this it would be much appreciated.

I am working on a kind of multiple choice quiz sheet and have some questions about the usage of controls in Mathcad version 15.1) When I recalculate the worksheet (via selfmade button control) a new question is selected by random but the radiobuttons have remembered the answer of the preceding question. How can I achieve that all radio buttons are unchecked (as they are when I load the worksheet the first time).2) How can I install some kind of counter which counts,how many trys were already made? The idea is to have a solution-button which is triggered automatically after, lets say, three attempts (that is three clicks an a different radio button).I think both questions basically have to do with how two different controls can interact with each other.3) I can not use the easier to handle webcontrols, as I need more freedom of placement of the controls. I'm new at this, so please bear with me. I'm running Mathcad 15 M010 (also tried on Prime 2.0 with the same results)... I'm attempting to use a solve block (Given/Find) to determine the necessary outside diameter of a pipe given a known loading case. When I try to solve the 3 simultaneous equations, I do not get the right answer - matter of fact, the values that I get aren't even valid given the equations I'm using. However, when I merge my equations together in a single equation the solution works fine. I've attached the Mathcad file (Simultaneous equation2.xmcd) with the issue so hopefully someone is up to teaching a rookie how to do this stuff. Thanks in advance.

I am trying to solve a second order ODE in a solve block. So... I have tried to customize my quick access toolbar. I have added "Select Working Directory" to it, while in a part window, but when I change windows to an assembly, it is gone, and I cannot add it.   To put it more accurately, the Quick Access Toolbar seems to be configured differently in part mode vs assembly mode (and I assume drawing mode etc). Hi,   Just installed Creo 1.0 (educational edition) as part of my course. I'v installed this on a partitionrunning Windows 7 professional on my Macbook Pro (2011 model) Creo starts normally however when a new part is started absolutely nothing is displayed i.e. planes etc, when a sketch is started still nothing. When a saved part is opened within creo again nothing is displayed.
