Hello!I have spent the last 2 hours, working on tracing a curve from a jpeg image that looks like logarithmic spiral or some similar curver.Tracing with styling feature cannot give me the accuracy that I need, as the final model will go to cnc for prototyping. (PLS see attached prt)I would like, to show you this jpeg image and kindly give me your feedback; how to trace or design the curve of the housing with an equation!a) I have tried with fibonacci spiral and involute curve but doesnt fit to this shape.b)If is a logaritmic spiral (http://mathdl.maa.org/images/upload_library/23/picado/seashells/espiraleng.html) , I cannot figure out how to insert the equation to Pro E, even to try if it fits. I m stuck here for hours, Please help! c) I attach the part that came from tracing. As you can see, the spline is not smooth. I'm a little green to WF5 so please bear with me, my terminolgy might be a little off. Also I did a search and nothing really came up.When I place a part in my assembly, I go through the process of mating surface to surface, etc. to get it in it's correct place. After the part is in it's correct place I am required to change the mating to work from the part's datum planes to the assembly's datum planes using offset's.What is the most efficient way to change them? Right now I am measuring the distance from each of the planes to their partner, writing them down, and doing the mates all over. Gentlemen,I am relatively new to programming using Pro NC and I am wondering if anyone knows much about the "CONSTANT LOAD" function for rough voluming. Everytime I try to use it in a closed pocket it retracts when it encounters a wall. It creates a 3D curve retract back to the retract plane for the sequence. I have had success going through channels but I had to use a retract plane that was just above my cut plane. It doesn't seem very safe to create a retract plane that is down inside a pocket.I would appreciate any insight or links to tutorials about this tool path. Is anybody else getting a million script errors in Windchill 10.0 when running it inside of Pro/E? Something like the following? These pop up periodically. Not so often that they prevent us from doing work, but often enough to get annoying. We just implemented Windchill at the beginning of this week. Has anyone else seen this? Thanks...

What is the best method to move data from one windchill instance to another keeping the data integrity at the same time. Our current windchill 8 installation holds data for two lines of business(LOB). LOB A's data will remain on the current windchill server while LOB B's data will need to be export/transferred to an new windchill instance that will be created. The library files will also have to be exported to the new instance as well. LOB B data is housed in 4 of the 9 products. The new instance will also be windchill 8. The main product has over 15K items in it.ThanksDave

attached is two version of a program (in prime 2.0 and mathcad 15) that is meant to do the same thing. The program is not exactly the same but it is strange enough that prime 2.0 can only numeric but not symbolic evaluate the answer. And sometimes, it is the other way around! But mathcad 15 can do it both way all the time!I am utlizing the new function that return a row of a matrix in prime 2.0..is it the problem?? I am just a new user of mathcad and I can already feel what prime lacks...

I am having trouble running out of assigned variables on the same worksheet. In a worksheet there are areas squared off with thin blue dotted lines and thin blue vertical lines. What are they for. And also I realize if I assign any function or value to a letter or symbol, the mathcad remembers that and reads from left to right down like a book. As the worksheets get bigger, this becomes a problem. Cant I just drag thos blue lines around some how and create a new section (that does not keep those variables assigned or defined) within the same workbook?

When exporting a drawing to pdf for printing, some lines are coming out thicker than the others. My drawing looks exaclty like what I want in the drawing mode. I've tried using true type fonts and using stroke all fonts, but neither works. Hi, i am a little stuck here. I have to plot some functions in one coordinate system, whithin two parallelels to the y-axis. for example if I want to plot x = 0.0075, x = 0.4 and f (x) = 4x +5 in one system, how should I proceed. Hey all,In one the scripts I'm working on I would like to get the user's confirmation on wether or not to perform an action. To explain the background a little: when a user moves a certain item to a completed state, I want to run a check on all that item's children and if those are not yet completed, *ask* the user if he wants integrity to move them to completed for him/her. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to present the user with a popup in his/her GUI, ask him a YES / NO question and capture the result in my script? Possibly relevant info: We're running Integrity 10.0
