I want to create a table that has labels across the top row and labels down the left column. It seems that a regular Mathcad table will not allow this because it thinks my labels in the left column are undefined variables. I would like to use an Exel component for the table, but the table prints kind of fuzzy. Is there a way to get a higher resolution Excel component? Or just a better way in general to enter such a table? Thanks

Occasionally I'd like my visualization thumbnail to be a jpeg or bmp. This is particularly for small electronic items which we model as simple blocks, so the CAD viewable isn't particularly informative, but it would be good to have a photo of the component on the page of the WTpart to help our staff confirm the component is what they think it is.I can easily manage to make a jpeg or bmp the viewable for an 'empty' WT part. However where that WT part has associated CAD content the menu changes and there seems to be no way of changing the viewable away from the CAD viewable to a photo.Does anyone have any ideas, I was wondering if there was a config option tucked away somewhere?Many thanks.

I have been having an issue within Creo Elements/Pro 5 when in a large assembly drawing. The drawing probably has close to 200 annotations over two sheets. When switching from any tab to the annotate tab, Pro becomes unresponsive for 3+ minutes before allowing me to do anything within the drawing. Once in the tab and have functionality again, whenever performing any operation, whether flipping arrows, editing attachments, adding\deleting any annotation, etc., once I middle mouse or click okay Pro becomes unresponsive again for 3+ minutes. I cannot share the drawing or any files due to proprietary content. What I can tell you is that I am on a Dell T5500, 12Gb Ram, 500Gb HD, nVidia Quadro FX3800, Win 7 x64, Xeon Quad @3.2 ghz, running Creo Elements/Pro 5.0 M110 date code. The drawings were created in WildFire 3 M240, vaulted in, I believe Windchill 9.1. Any help or advice would be great. Our CAD admins have been working on it through PTC, but wondered if anyone else has had this problem

My company just switched over to Pro-E 5 from Pro-E 3.As a company we use Shannon text as our default for drawings. I noticed that the ordinate dimensions are scattered and not lining up to the leader line and some text is coming out BOLD now. I attached a file to show the issues. I did not have this problem in Pro-E 3.I made sure that all the text was set to Shannon not Shannon Bold. I want to take select elements of one array and use them to initiaize another I am subsampling an array. For example:i = 0;10A=iB=[1,3,6]Now I want:C[0] = A[1]C[1] = A[3]C[2] = A[6]Of course for my real case the arrays are very large.Is there a simple way to do this similar to matlab, using arry B to index into A? Heres a little MathCad 15 problem I would welcome some help with - I have spent a couple of days trying to get a MonteCarlo sim to work and have traced the problem to a simple vector filling functionIf I pass numbers to a function to put into a vector - the fourth element in the vector becomes a {4,1} sub vector containing the first 3 elements plus a zero. Hello Folks,I gave MathCad Prome this morning a try to check whether I might be able to replicate my work which I so far have done with MC 15. (64 bit Win 7 machine).However, I was stopped right at the beginning by this weird readin behaviour.The data file I'm reading in contains mixed characters and data (to have them both in one array is great!) but, alas, it doesn't read it in properly. A student asked mathcad to supply an antiderivative. Not quite believing the answer, she factored the integrand and tried again and recieved a different (this time correct) answer. I've attached the file which shows the incorrect antiderivative and a line in which I differentiate the incorrect antiderivative and do not arrive at the original function.

Not sure this is the right place for this question but...Is there a straightforward way to extract the coordinates of a specific contour on a plot? In the attached example, I would like to get the coordinates of the zero contour. I realize that I can do this using the root function but this has difficulty converging near the vertical tangent of the contour. The contouring algorithm evidently does not have this problem.

Greek characters will not show up in Mathcad 15.0 when I enter them. Everytime I try to insert a character, what looks like a math region with a blue line that goes on forever shows up. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?Thanks,Korey

I have installed the free CreoView Express 1.0 software on a computer that is a running a ATI Radeon adapter. I can open pvz files, but the part, and assemblies can not be displayed. Does anyone know what the video card requirments are for CreoView 1.0? How can I change math region font?Where are the options to change fonts for variable, unit, constant, function, system, keyword?Thank you.

Seems like I waited forever for conventional MATHCAD to allow a second Y-axis. It's really helpful for gain-phase plots to graphically see the phase margin and the rate of change of the phase as the gain is crossing 0dB. I know I can scale one variable to fit, but I want to be able to read both values directly off of the axes. Other than the lack of a 2nd Y-axis, Prime 2.0 would be usable for 90% of what I do. It seems like a second Y-axis is kind of a fundamental capability, no? If Excel supports it shouldn't something like MATHCAD?Any chance of an interim update soon that would support it, or do we have to wait for Prime 3, 4 or 5?Back to 15 for me.
