Hi,What is the release date for Mathcad Prime 2.0?Thank you

Is there a way to sort a table by a function based on a part name?I have a parts lists which is generated using repeat region tables. I need to sort the entries so that those which are designed items and having a name length of 13 characters appear first and then the purchased parts (e.g. screws, handles etc) which have a 7 digit name length appear afterwards. Hi. My internet contract expired and I decided not to renew it at this time. So I don't currently have internet access and I thought, it would be a good time to do a bit more learning on the sorftware. Unfortunately I can't even use it when I try to open it up. It's asking for a code which it never did before since I had the internet and then just closes. So this means I can no longer use it at home now. Where can I get this code from since I have this installed on my laptop and one desktop computer, but can't use either apparently. I would just like to keep working on the tutorials in the meantime. What happened to Symbolics in MathCAD Prime 1.0 ? There are there in MathCAD 15, but not in Prime. Is this feature deprecated or is it going to be added later?

Hello, thank you for your help, these equations are very important and I would like to find a résulat for each graph.I want to display TF191(f, tpas) + TF291(f,tpas) or TF4569 + TF4570. The result should be the same but I do not understand the difference between Mod1(f)/m1 and Mod1561(f456). One uses a frequency sweep and the other a vector.

I blogged about this last year but its really an issue now. If you have an iteration from which you revise, it cannot be purged without removing all later versions. In my case, I have a user who uploaded two 300MB TIF attachments to an assembly. Yes, they did. That version was revised and eventually cleaned up to remove the TIF attachments from later iterations. I went in as an admin and iterated that old iteration to also remove the attachment. One would think that I could just purge the iterations of the first version and those files would be gone. Nope. They system says that since the later versions were branched off that bad iteration, it cannot be removed. Does anyone know a way to fix this or override this block? Using PDMLink 9.1. This is not the only bad apple. Another user created two 800MB Shrinkwrap attachments. Hello,I've attached my mathcad document and it explains what I am trying to do.I have two equations, A and B.Equation A determines the length of a crack in a material specimen after the specimen has been loaded a distinct number of times. This is based on several variables, one of them being the initial length of the crack.So after one cycle, I can determine how much this crack grew. I can then determine the residual strength of the material based on this new crack size.What I need to do, is make a plot that has residual strength (Equation B) in the y axis, and number of cycles (Equation A) in the X axis.The process would look like this:1 - Equation A calculates the final crack length in the specimen after ONE cycle (given an initial crack length value). 2 - Equation B takes this final crack length and calculates the residual strength.3 - The residual strength is plotted in the 2D plot.4 - This final crack length is then fed back into Equation A to determine how much it grows after ONE

Hi, I am trying to update an existing Windchill 10.0M020 installation to include "Creo View" by running the PSI. PSI fails with error message Apache failed to stop..com.ptc.windchill.install.psi.InstallCommandException. I just loaded MCad 15 and opened a file created with MCad 2001.In the attached file on page 6, the Solve Block is flagged with and error message: "Something is wrong with the solve block used to define this function".The same solve block works fine in 2001.What rule am I breaking here for the block not to be functional in 15?Thank you.

I'm new to pro/E and Creo. I am having trouble with the expert machinist output to G-Code. My Machine tool does not like the format of the post processor. I have the basic 2 ½ D CAM that comes with Creo. The post outputs the tool path in as follows: N0012X00035Y0015F01. My machine tool interprets this as X=35 and Y=15. It should be X=0.35 and Y=1.5. In addition, can I adjust how the line numbers are generated? I would like to start at N0010 and increment by tens. I cannot find in the documentation how to change these formatting issues. I have tried using the NC Post Process under the Applications menu, but I’m not sure what It is actually doing. There is only the one default profile UNCX01 under the machine setup. And the list file says its using the UNCX01.p00 file (This file does not exist on my Hard drive.) So I’m at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. Please explain the logic behind "Add Point" & "Delete Point" options. It does not work as I expect. After I think that I have deleted points and then go to add a new point, I find out that the last point I selected did not delete. The more I continue to add & delete the more confounded the curve becomes and I almost always have to delete the whole curve and recreate it.Give me any suggestions that will save me from having to delete the whole curve in order to put new points in.example: PNT17 needs to be added to the curve.Thanks,Kevin

Hi,I downloaded the free version of CREO ( Creo Elements / Direct Modelling Express 4.0) today, and have been working through the quickstart projects to familularize myself.I cannot find the quickstart file needed for "position parts" (the file I cannot find is called wheels.pk2)I have searched in local disk (C:) > program files > PTC > Creo elements >direct modelling 4.0, but have been unable to find the file. Where is this file located? Is there something additional that I need to download?Thanks for your time.

I'm wanting to save the selection in my list box when the file is saved, closed and reopened. The attached example file populates from the MS Excel file also attached. I've used these listbox controls in my MathCAD files for years and have always reset values when reopening files or set values manually. I'm noticing some discussions in the usage group that would indicate that it is possible to edit the script and have the listbox setting save it's selection when the file is saved and closed. I would appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Hi Community,I need a little help with the MathcadAllocate Command, what I understood so far is that I am able to allocate with this command a certain amount of memory, still I do not know for what I am allocating this memory, means how to explain the code that I want to allocate the Memory for my output COMPLEXSCALAR, I really dont get it and the help is not quite usefull on that topic, my search in the forum so far didn't help either.Would be nice if you have some sample function where I can see how to allocate the memory correct. 3D plots are empty in my newly installed Mathcad 15.It does not even display in quick sheets.Everything worked fine in Mathcad 14.But I uninstalled that before checking.Lasse

Dear Community members:When I share my MathCad documents via Word or PDF, the long equations are not kept in only one page, so documents are not easily readable. How can I indicate MathCad to continue equations in the row below and not in the inexistent neighbor page? Does MathCad have a kind of wrap configuration?Thank you in advancedZeus

Hello, I am a new user to MathCAD, and after searching other posts a bit I am still at a loss of how to express my results in a unit that is not available by inserting a custom unit. What I would like is to have my results expressed as "Msi". I can define the unit of Msi as 1*10^6 psi, but my results -- albeit correct -- are still displayed in psi. for example, if I defined M:= 42 Msi, the answer is expressed as M=42*10^6 psi. What I would like it to display the result as is "M=42 Msi". Is there a way to do this? Thanks for any help.
