As part of my coursework, I have to calculate the self-inductance of a single turn coil.We have been provided with a set of nested equations to estimate the value, which have been presented in mathcad format.However, when I tried to type in the equation, I got an error telling me the final "otherwise" statement needs to be matched with an "if" statement.Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Can somebody help me to convert this file to MathCad 1.0 Prime file type?

So we have an airplane that is a surface model and we have a component that is spatially located in the correct spot on the body. Is there a way to extrude the intersecting surface so that the airplane model now has a cut matching the component? Hi! All,I thing I had better explain the probblem more fully,The centre of an ellipse is at (0,0) with it's major axis along the X axis, let the semi major axis be "a". long. At a point "o" along the positive X axis at say "2a" distance from (0,0) is the centre of a circle drawn tangent to the outside of the ellipse, this line along the positive X axis joining the two centres,is rotated in a counter clockwise direction carring with it the circle, but the circle must remain tangent to the outside of the ellipse. obviously to do this the distance between the two centres must be continuously changing, So herin is the problem, to find this length at any given rotation of the line joinging the two centres??Regards Brian

Using Pro/Pipe added 20 hose assemblies to an existing assembly . When I saved the assembly I have 13 new hose assemblies and 7 ghost objects for the other hose assemblies in the Workspace. 3 times this week, TomCat (windows service) has stopped for no apparent reason.It had been working fine for months until now.The Windows event viewer has entries for the terminated service, but no details.The TomCat logs do not show anything either.The last entries prior to the stop do not indicate any problems.After I restart the service, all is well... until it fails again in a day or 2.Any suggestions as to what else to look for?Windchill 9.1 M060 on Windows server 2003 x64.Gerry

Is there a way to change a setting so when I create a part or assembly there is an additional parameter created? Along with the description, we need a reference ID for each part/assembly and It would save a lot of time if I could just type in the data into the tables instead of having to go through each part manually. Hello,In the attached sheet, Part 1 "Data input...." you will see "Number of Point Loads" is 4. In part 2"Input of all Loads", you will see 4 point loads. if i canhe the number of point loads to 10, how could i make the input of point loads cells to match the number of point loads 10? i can change the number of point loads to 10, but i want to be able to input more than 4 pont loads as shown in part2"Input of all loads", Thanks!

My goal was to determine the size of a single dimension index based on the contents of the first column [row] of a matrix. For instance if I have Q=(1,0,2) I wantan index N=2, for two non-0 elements for Q1 and Q3. Q can be any size and anynumber of 0 elements can exist. I attach a simple replica of the program I usedto calculate this index, using the "for" and "if" functions. It seems simple so I amfeeling pretty stupid right now. Can you see anything wrong with the attached program? It was developed in MathCAD 2001i [V8].

I have downloaded several screws/washers etc from the pro/library and when I save the file they appear as a single item yet when I open these in Creo I am prompted to select which type/size I require. My question is how are these parts created and is it possible to edit/create my own versions? How would I go about this?

Hi Mike,I use a ComboBox control to find all regions with tags and then scroll window to the region that you select from the control. It works well on a windows server. However, when it works on a citrix server it popups a error message :Do you have any idea about the cause?Best regards.Jeffery

I am getting very frustrated with trying to do this. I am trying to import a dxf file and when it loads I cannot interact with it at all. Our company provides CAD drawings for our logo and I cannot seem to figure out how to convert a iges/dxf to a .sym file. Hi all,I am a mathcad-noob, started using it today. I use ptc's eLearning library to get to know the software. However, in the section about solving differential equations I have run into a problem:As before, I do everything like it is written in the eLearning article. But when I want to solve the DE using odesolve, I get an unknown error: dae%_initial%_condition%_error (See attached pic for more info).Who can help me? Hi, I am totally new to Creo software and my company has just purchased Creo Parametric. I have been on a basics training course and also have plenty of experience from other 3D packages.What I need is some tips on setting up part parameters such as title, mass, designer, date etc which appear as prompts to be entered when a new part or assembly is created then also on creating a series of drawings blanks/title blocks which will bring all this information in. Iv spent hours searching with little luck so far. I would also like a couple of points clarifying, does Creo Parametric have an inbuilt screws, nuts, washer library?
