How do you stop MathCAD from going too far in the reduction of units in the answer of a calculated value? See attached .xmcd file.

It seems simple, but for some reason (probably the normal one, lack of math chops) I'm having trouble with this datafit problem......Larry

Hello together,hopefully the last question concerning my diplome thesis:Does Mathcad 15 have a function to find the (Global) Maximum/Minimum of an analytic function, like f(x) = x^3 + x^2 - 4 . I need the x-Value and the y - Value of the Maximum/Minimum.And additionally, I need to find the tangent from the point of origin to an analytic function, like g(x) = x^2 + 4x -10 . So I need to point at which the tangent touches the given function.Thanks a lot,Simon

I have a model and on the front of it I created an offset quilt where all my graphics are displayed. It looks great but when I do a projection view & a cross section you can see the line for the quilt. Does anyone know how to remove the quilt from a specific view? Hey everyone,I've developed a loop where each value in the loop is a vector (e.g., x1 = 30 X 1 vector) so the loop should be returning vectors as well. Unfortunately, I'm getting scalars therefore ruining the later functions of the loop. I've narrowed it down to the portion that is returning scalars, and I was wondering if someone could help me figure out why it's doing this. I've attached the file that has been causing me grief for the past week.Any help is greatly appreciated.Talina

HI,all.i have a question.How to create a product structure?For example,usually i finish my design and upload it to windchill in proe.There is an assembly and its 7 child parts.And i want to create a product structure.I found that i had to create each wtpart for a proe part . And the most depressing things is i have to create the relationship betweent the child wtpart and the parent part.If there are many parts and level in my prodcut,this task will be very difficult. How to make it easyier, or automated?

I have all the individual parts in my assembly colored and in the assembly. I changed the color of a sub assembly and I cannot get the assembly to reinherit each individual parts color. Hi Pro/fessionals.Here's a good one:Is there any possibility to explode assembly components in radial direction?The picture was created using axis pattern in 2 directions, just to show what I mean. I made use of the pattern function in combination with layers to get what I need. Hey everyone,I've been working on a Mathcad worksheet that is supposed to generate the response spectra for earthquake data using a function, but whenever I use a value that is too small for my Dt value, highlighted in the worksheet, I get the message that there is a floating point error. The smallest value I seem to be able to get away with is 0.02, but the problem is I need to be able to use a smaller value so that I can get more accurate output. Does anyone know how to fix this problem, or at the very least what it means?Thanks,Talina

I created a part with revolve feature with thicken sketch in WF 5.0. The thickness is 4 mm. When I want to change the thickness to 2mm, I receive message that this is out of range 10.09-1462.67. I understand most of the basic sorts of movable attachments like planar and pin, but I'm wondernig if it's possible to have a nut constrained to a thread and when you do the drag feature, have the nut spin down the thread. When you activate a part in an assembly, can you see the features of that part in the model tree? I am using Pro/E Wildfire 3.0In assemblies, when assembling a new part, that part is colored yellow while assigning constraints. I do not like this feature.
