Hi,I want to create a look up functionality in Mathcad. I am having grades coreesponding to wire diameter. The cloumns under grades will have the value of stress. If I enter value of diameter and grade I need Mathcad to automatically select the corresponding stress value.I attach the file herewith--Dhinesh

Any ideas why the attached file (which worked in version 11) won't work in 14?

Hi,I would like to know if it is possible to evaluate the equation by substituting the value of corresponding variable in second column of table by giving the input from variable in first column of same table in Mathcad.--Dhinesh

Hi,is it possible in one line to extract a sub-vector of all elements in another vector which satisfy some rule e.g. all elements > 0 for example?I know how to do it in a programming loop but if there is a built in method then it's likely to be more efficient.I can do it easily in matlab like:z = x(x>0)Thanks,D

Hi,I have some calculations developed in Mathcad 15. When I try to open the file, the results are not getting displayed.If I hit Formats> Result> Unit display> Format units I can see the result.Suggest me how to fix this problem.I attach the files herewith.--Dhinesh

Hello!So, i look at "Hardware Notes - Creo 1.0 Parametric, Direct and Simulate". And there is no support for Windows Vista (32 & 64 bit). Hi all, i have a problem i have never encountered before. I have a generic part with one family table instance. The problem is, a group of 3 features do not appear to have made it across from the generic to the instance. I have not added these to the table & turned them off, there is no simplified rep present, i am at a loss as to why these features are present on the generic & not the instance. How to count the number of iteration required for Convergence in a Solve block?Discription: I have solved some nonlinear equations using Find command, but i want to know how many iteration it is taking to get to convergence? Can any one help me out in doing this?Thank you

I am currently running a Mathcad program in controlled loops and exporting the resulting data in to an Excel file. My problem is this; each time Mathcad goes through the loop, it overwrites the data from the previous loop. This is a an issue considering I need the data from all 24 loops. I would like to know if there is a way to capture the output from each loop of calculations and save the data in Excel in: 1. Different File Names, 2. Different Sheets of that File, 3. Different Ranges of that File. Either one of the three mentioned ways is acceptable.Thank You

Hi,I am a Mathcad beginner, and would like to plot a function against one of the 4 variables it depends on. (I have attached my calc file, the plot I would like is on page 19.) I am able to get a point on the plot, but not a line. I can add another trace, and enter the variable value manually, but this only gives a second point. I know this must be very simple, but I just can't figure it out. I have tried to change Dp to a range (i:1,1.5..4) but with no joy.Any help greatly appreciated!Mark

I'm using MathCad to create a set of linear equations. Everything works as intended as long as I use integer values for some of the elements, but as soon as I change these values to nonintegers I get a "This value must be an Matrix error." I'm sure that I am missing something obvious. The revelant portion of the worksheet is attached below. Thanks in advance.

I am an internship student that was recently introduced to Mathcad 15. I am trying to create multiple circles on the same graph. All the circles have a different radius. I have no idea how to use Mathcad or create a program in Mathcad, but this is my project. I've tried things from the tutorial and some other programs from just searching the internet but have yet to have any luck. Hey Guys,I've got a field vector (i dont know if it's the right english term.. the one which i get when i type in 100,150..2000 for example)And i have to export it to excel, but when i use an excel component Mathcad only copies the last value (2000 in this example)So my question is, if there is an quick&easy way to:copy the whole "field-vector" to excel (without marking the values manually)or to transform the field-vector in a "normal matrix/vector".Greetings.

Hi, I've have been looking at the idea of using entropy as a measure of uniformity of an image. I have created a worksheet with the calculation but is doesn't agree with the inbuilt function in matlab. Can anyone point to an error I have made.ThanksJason

Hi everyone!I have square equation, and I have to find x, so I use solve function and find 2 values of x, for example, positive x and negative x. Then I have to use that x in further equations, but only positive value of x.Maybe someone could tell me how can I make that mathcad will use only positive x value in further equations and ignore negative?Please look a file in attachment!Thank you!

I have been using excel to post process data from another progam. To handle the data I am thinking of analyzing it one MathCAD worksheet then importing the results. I know how to analyze the data in one worksheet. This keep the deliverable worksheet small, but have access to the complete data files.Another method I am consiedering is to run the prgram inside MathCAD. This program does support integration into MathLab, C++, and Python. I have limited experience in programing but a little insight may get me headed in the right direction.Thanks for the support.David Tg

Hi folks,My problem is that I had written a fairly complex, well documented worksheet that needed to be run through with different sets of values (call another worksheet as a component with in & out available as per other components)http://collab.mathsoft.com/~Mathcad2000/read?104132,11e#104132From M13 onwards, this seems not working at all!Rewriting the worksheet to functionalize would be expensive timewise (redesign and validation) and would lose the effective link between documentation and equations.Any help would be very much appreciated to run a worksheet multiple times (run in batch) with the latest Mathcad versions.thx/JM

Hi,I'm trying out the Structured Authoring Test Cases in Windchill ProjectLink 9.1.I'm having trouble getting a ditamap to "burst" properly to Windchill.I load a ditamap ("2008 Series Shock") in Arbortext Editor (5.4), and save itas a server object, with "Use location rules for child" unchecked (but I also triedit checked).The file is saved ok, but only the main document is saved. None of the referencedtopics show up in Windchill (in Product/Racing Shock Publication/2008 Series Shock),though the Test Case indicates they are supposed to.I edited the atidefaults file on the client machine as indicated in a later step with this:<dmslocation default="Technical Publication"></dmslocation><dmsgraphiclocn default="Technical Publication"/>And I also tried changing the default attributes to "".Any ideas why the topics are not getting loaded to Windchill?
