Hi,I have an assembly with a pattern assembly cut . The pattern of hole "cut material" of different part of the assembly.As a result when I regenerate the warning "WARNING: ASSEMBLY CUT is entirely outside the model; model unchanged" is there any way to resolve this issue?I want to keep the model made of different part to get the hatch and the line correct in the drawing. and I can't make the hole at the part level as it's at the junction of two plates.Thanks for your helpNicolasThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. How to tell the symbolic processor that n is an integer so while evaluatingcos((n+.5)* pi)==>0and sin((n+.5)*pi)==>1is there a way to force the symbolic process to do that once it sees these expressions it will just replace them with 0 or 1The reason I am not using n as integer range is: this is part of a long calculation/derivation

Hi all!I was working on project and found a big problem.Example:I have function: 10+x=15 and i need to find x.Its how i do in Mathcad:10+x=15 solve,x -> 5now i want to use x in further calculations.x+2=Mathcad doesn't calculate it, it makes x in red color and says that it is undefined.Same thing happens if i do it with:Given10+x=15Find(x)->5So bacically what would i do, is:10+x=15 solve,x -> 5And now i define x.x:=5and write my expression:x+2=7now it calculates it.But when i do research work and i have 20 pages of calculations and many similar cases, where i manually define x or another symbols, and then i change something in the begining, so i have to go to all that manually defined values and redefine them, it is unacceptable!Is there any solution or function which would make solutions of equations and use calculated values in further formulas?I attached mathcad file, for you to see what happens. HiI was wondering if anybody could help me solve an linear system of equations using ODE.I am trying to solve a rather simple electric circuit, but for some reason MathCad is having problems with the solution.I was able to solve a similar problem with only 4 states ( that is, without C2 and RC2 components). However, i cannot understand why Odesolve cannot find a solution.I simulated the circuit using an electromagnetic trasient analysis software, and the waveforms are very reasonable.I was wondering if anybody could have an idea of what I could be doing wrong.I have attached the full model with your reference.Thank you in advanceAlex

Hello everyone,Ok I have a little problem, if anyone has any suggestions I would be happy to hear them.GoalIn a pre-existing illustration I wish to take current callouts (generated using the callout tool) and break them down into elements, remove the rectangle (with white fill), and shorten the line so it no longer intersects the number (the rectangle provides a shadow effect around the number).ProgressSo far I have selected all callouts and converted into elements. This puts each callout into a group, I Select All and using the FirstSelectedElement mixed with the 'UNGROUP SELECTION' (cannot get the optinoal parameter DEEP to work) function Isodraw 7.1 crashes. Can anyone provide a different solution/fix?I have tried to avoid using FirstSelectedElement and Select All and I am trying to find a way to select each group individually using a loop (I think when Ungroup Selection is executed whilst multiple groups are selected Iso crashes) but I cannot find a way of selecting group individua

I want to include a check box to indicate if the value of a variable is greater than the value of another variable. I was wondering this is possible and how to do it.

I just purchased and downloaded MathCAD 15, however every time I try to open the program, it responds with a runtime error message saying: Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mathcad\Mathcad 15\mathcad.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.What does this mean? I'm new to MathCAD and I'm excited to learn this program, but this is frustrating!!! Has anyone seen this error before? I appreciate any and all help! Thank you!!!

Hi there!Wondering if anyone can help me out. I'm new to mathcad and having difficulty with solve blocks. As far as I can see I'm entering all data correctly but keep getting an error variable undefined when I come to us the "find" function.I'll attatch a couple of questions I cant get to work to see if anyone has any ideas.Any pointers on this would be much appreciated.Kind Regards,John

This may be crazy easy to do I just couldn't figure it out. I'm trying to place a datum on the inside surface of a hole. I am working with GD&T and trying to create a perpendicularity constraint referenceing the datum C which like is said is the inside surface of the hole. Hi,Can publish / copy geometry be used (WF4) in combination with family tables. i.e I have a model with a publish geometry feature and another model with a copy geometry feature where both parent and child models have a number of FT instances. I seem to get only the generic published geometry in each instance of the the child model. Sorry for the basic question. I am trying to do some simple spherical coordinate integration but my results are not coming out exact, or not coming out at all. I am a MathCAD newbie and have been trying to figure out what the problem is to no avail. Using MathCAD 15.I assume it is possible to get exact results and not just a very precise decimal number? And also to use variables in the integrand that are defined in the definite integral's limits and will be given values.

Dear all,I have problems with different things on my Mathcad15.1. when i create equations based on defined variables, the units are not as expected when i enter the unit i want to be as my result unit.2. when i go to help search, the menu is disabled and only numbers appear insted. but when i press the numbers i get a message that i could have problem with active ontroll function.3. how can i get the my result from an equation as unitless? the variables are defined with units abovei really need help with this as i have to submitt my course work very soon.regardsAlan Mardan
