Hi,my Problem is to display 3D Plots. Disabling the boarders will show my plot until i scroll in the document.I found another solution to reduce color depth to 16 Bit, but Catia dislike this changes not even Wn7 Aero runs on 16 Bit.I noticed this problem on various machines running MC14 and MC15(trail). Prime1.0 does not support 3D plots Did I mixed up a bug with a feature? What's the point anyway?Is there a workaround for the 3D Problem?Thx

Hi all, does anyone know if it is possible to edit the properties of a basic drawing note, in such a way as i can have the individual words different heights. For example, lets say i have a note that reads "drill & tap M8". Hello,I'ld like to make the "comments" field mandatory in an assigned activity.But not in all cases so I cannot just custom the basic jsp. It is just for certain activities and when the user rejects the activity. If he chooses "comlete" he doesn't have to put a comment.I achieved it by adding a writtable "comment2" variable and some validation on the "reject" transition.But it is misleading for the user to have at once the field "comment2" and the original "comments" field.Have you an idea how to implement this requirement ?thank you.

Hello,I have to implement a way of displaying the roles that a user owns.With WCAdmin, it is possible. You browse to Principal Administrator, you find a user and when you hit the info button, this information is displayed.But when you are a basic user, if you hit the info button of another user (for example in the team tab of a product), you've got another jsp (netmarkets/jsp/user/view.jsp) with less information.I'ld like the basic user to be redirected on the same kind of jsp than the wcadmin in the Principal Administrator. Do you think it is possible. How to procede ? And is not there a special access right for the full display of the user data shown in the Principal Administrator ?Thank you for your help.HM

Apologies, as I can see from searching that this is a common question, but I'm still in my first week of using Mathcad. I am using the Colebrook White equation to find the friction factor of a pipe. The solver has returned an answer, but I am unable to find how to use this answer in the rest of my worksheet. I have defined my roughness, diameter and reynolds number already - and want to use the friction factor in subsequent formulae.Many thanks in advanceMark

Hello,I have retrieved Windchill installed on a virtual machine, and Arbortext Editor is inslatteld in a physical one.So the virtual machine runs in the same physical machine.I want integrate Epic with Windchil by modifying the "siteprefs.xml" file in the adapter and put the IP adress of waindchill's machine. but Arbortext Editor can't connect to windchill.I don't no if someone has already done this configuration.I'll be greatful if you help me Cordially

I am having trouble creating and extruded cut. I have been using Pro/E since 1993 or so and consider myself an experienced user of the package and I am getting really frustrated that I am not able to create this cut. I have tried everything I could think of to get it to work with little success.I have attached a simplified version of the model from WF 5.0. Hello,I've got an activity in a workflow where the user has to fill some textbox and other things. These criteria must follow a validation rule.I know how to check the criteria once the activity is complete, but it is too late because if the criteria are not ok the activity shouyldn't be validated.The best should be to launch the validation when the user clicks "complete activity", and if the criteria are wrong, to popup an error message and to stop the "complete activity" process. So the user stay in the activity and must change the criteria.How could I proceed ?Thank you

I've got a macro that creates a text file, then I want it to open the text file in Notepad at the end.I tried the edit command (noted in the documentation for 7.1, but apparently supported on versions 7.0 F000 and later - I'm using 7.0 M050):edit "c:\WINDOWS\notepad.exe" gl_write_file_name(gl_write_file_name is my variable for the file to be opened.)I get an error message when it gets to the edit command:"Illegal value has been used"I've also tried it with a specific filename (rather than using a variable for the filename):edit "c:\WINDOWS\notepad.exe" "X:\Illustrators Info\illustrators files\Tim Sharp\2011-07-15 drawings.txt"but it still gives the same error.Strangely, if I use the command without specifying a filename:edit "c:\WINDOWS\notepad.exe" ""it does not give the error. I am using nested for loop to tell me the position of array elements that meet three different criteria. The inner loop is set for j = 0 - 9, but it appears that it is only evaluating for j = 9 and is ignoring j = 0 - 8. How am I messing up the syntax? The relevant details of the problem are on the attached worksheet.

I am having a hard time creating a solid with a square bottom and round top on parrallel planes. Can someone help me understand the best way to do this in Pro-E? Here’s my problem:I defined a function f_next_s: Input s_n (current) -> Output s_n+1 (next). Now I want to repeat this procedure n times, starting with s_1(given):Step INPUT (s_cur) OUTPUT (s_pre)1 s_1 s_22 s_2 s_33 s_3 …… … …n s_n s_n+1ANDI want to store the values of s_1, s_2, … s_n+1 so that I can go on calculating with them.Here is what I tried, but it doesn't work (it only gives out the first result, which is s_2): Here ( http://communities.ptc.com/message/157701#157701 ) it says I should write the values in an array. I have two worksheets attached. The worksheet called "Issue1" gives the final array's as a single number (Equal_Count and LessThanCount). The other worksheet called "array count comparison - Ver 2" gives array's for the array's as I would have expected inthe Issue1 worksheet. Hello everyone,I am trying to model the dynamics of a screw mechanism that contacts a hinged part. I am not concerned with the forces or stresses, only the motion of the hinged part due to the motion of the screw. So to clarify, I have a screw moving down that contacts a hinged surface and forces it outward. Most of the videos and tutorials I have seen contain linkages connecting all the parts, but my model has two mechanisms that come into contact. My goal is to change the hinged surface's geometry and then observe the change in motion. I have no clue where to start... I've modeled my parts and the mechanisms. For the hinge I used a pin constraint and for my screw I used 4 slot/point constraints (4 threads). All help is appreciated.
