I created a local section view on a model back view and I can't get the spline that demarcates the edges of the section view to show up. The spline only appears when I have the dialogue box open for editing the view. As soon as I close out the box, the spline disappears but the section remains. I would like the spline to remain on the view. How can I do this?

I am trying to upload the primary content to a document using REST API. I found information on knowledge hub to do it using Upload Stage 1, Upload Stage 2, Upload Stage 3 actions. I am facing issue while stage 2 action as it is not available in windchill rest services(screenshot attached). I am wondering if it is possible to customize the Document Management domain to perform POST action to upload document primary content directly through rest api. Any hint or assistance will be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance for time and consideration.

I know this is a bit of an Onion (many layers and it can make you cry).We have Org and level Roles with ACL's but we also allow Projects to create Local Roles and these act like "Team Members" for Org level ACL's.In a Project (or any context) there is also the ability to ride a gui action with Actions on Roles.Given all that....There are Access Controls on a Folder (that can be propagated to sub-folders) and these look like ACL in that they say "modify" ,  "modify content" (looks like modify content in ACL), ""The right to modify any local file, URL, or external storage for the primary content and attachments of an object with content. This includes modifying content information and adding, replacing, or deleting content"If the Role in the team has Modify, Modify Content on the Access Control rule and can see Check Out, Check out and Edit, Replace content. Would selecting only Read , Download only allows those actions, and conversely can you grant Modify if the Role only has

Hello Community, I have connected my thingworx with MS SQL and now problem is when i send the data entry from vuforia studio to my thingworx. It saves the data entry in SQL server and thingworx both but the ISSUE is here that it stores it with time 2 hours less and in thingworx exact my local time which is right. Now the problem comes when i send the data query with date and time. I am unable to fetch the data untilll or unless i would send the right time on which the entry is saved in SQL server. Anyone knows that how can i fix it? I am using datetime datatype in thingworx. The problem is if i make an entry between 1:00pm till 2:00pm. For query i have to give that time in order to fetch the entry from SQL. even though this same entry has time in thingworx 3:00 till 4:00. so SQL is saving 2 hours less for time. how can i fix it? @Surya_Tiwari

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: Need Creo view files to match pdf files exported of drawings so drawing review markups can be made for drawing approval workflows within windchill.Description: Want Windchill Creo View files and thumb nails to match PDF files that are exported from Creo Drawings using profile settings. How does one control the line weights and colors that are out putted to make Creo View files? See attached images.  Would like to have the image with blue lines for object line and format lines look like the all black and white image.  Also where do I configure the colors that are used for the Creo View thumb nails that are shown on the details tab for the workspace?  Thanks for any help you may provide!Don A

Hi, I performed a rehost on dev server from production. This is the second time in last 15 days, I have rehosted server. First time, all went good , server was up and running. But the second time, I can see message in the MS-log. (MethodServer ready (in xxxx secs).) and then trying to access it from UI, it is authenticating the user and cannot access, it keeps rotating.  Can someone please help me where to check ?

Hello all,is it normal for the line style (e.g. centerline) to change when you place an Inset? Can this be changed or switched off? I have placed a bolt with screw and centre line on a DIN A4 page size.When I insert an Inset B, the centrerline style changes. In addition, the line style in the Inset (zoom) is completely different. It is far too small in this case, although it should not actually change despite positive or negative zoom. And if it does, the distances should at least become larger (and not smaller) with a positive zoom. The line style: Placing a bolt and a srew on a DIN A4 page size: Insert a Inset B with zoom < 1: Making the zoom >1: Can this behavior be changed? Best regardsRamon(Siemens Energy)

In RTPPM, I have configured following models by simulating tags from Kepware. Models Configuration Downtime Model Production Model Waste Model Job Order Model Product Change Model   But, I have an usecase. I have machine running status from Kepware. The partcount, product is manually fed in to the system. Then how to configure RTPPM to support completely manual mode? And, I have only Product not Job Order.

I want to export those part files to dxf without opening the files one by one and saving them. What I have done so far:I could not get the proper export of the part files to dxf without opening the part as a drawing first. I created a mapkey that opens the current part as a drawing template with the correct view and scale, then saves that drawing as a dxf. The mapkey works when run manually and does save me time.However, I wanted to speed up the process further by using Creo distributed batch to run that mapkey on all the parts. Hi there I am trying to add the Thingshape PTC.FSU.AMU.MonitoringCardConfiguration.AssetCard_TS to my AMU asset. (Then known bug) but I get the following error for multiple assets:Save failed: A Name Conflict Has Been Detected With Property AMUAttribute9DisplayName_MCC in Thing OC24620-Furnace-AMU. I checked the assests and they only have 1-2 attributes not 9 attributes. Also the error ranges from  differs AMUAttribute[1-9]DisplayName_MCC

I have  users that are having trouble getting start files. When creating new parts they only get the PTC supplied defaults. They also do not see the Pro/Library option when opening files. They are able to navigate to the Windchill templates manually and open so access isn't an issue. The config pro and sup being used are the same as every other user as they use a start up script. Windchill server is setup the same. We have tried clearing the windchill workspace cache and reinitializing the server connection. Any ideas?
