If I have Creo Elements Direct 20.3, can I set 20.1 as default file version?

Hi, A new thing I seem to be running into:  Bubble Numbers now have constraints.  (When you drag them about, they now 'snap' to perpendicular, coincident, parallel, etc,,, and then have a constraint tag on them.. How to turn them off?  and hopefully globally, not just individually.. (Remember, I jumped from Creo 3 to Creo 9..)

I am in the file stage of my vault move and clean up. There are 0 files in the remaining folders but a Query Builder report show 50 files remaining. When I executed a vault WContent verification check and everything comes back clear. No missing files. huh? I created a new report to check the FVItems against ApplicationData and it shows that there is no ApplicationData tied to these FVItems at all. Bad data? I would thing so. All show 0 bytes in the DB too. Now this article says that the CommonScheduleQueue should clear those no worries. Except that I waited a day and nothing. These also have existed for many weeks and odd that the timestamps show recent.  I think my only recourse is to remove the offending lines records right? Is there any other thing that can be tied to these?

We're in the process of obtaining a license for Manufacturing Apps. In the meantime, can we test the trial version on a Windows 7 desktop machine?

I have read a post on this forum where someone said that certificate authentication is not supported. I could not find any release notes regarding an update to this and still am unable to connect to KEPServerEX using trusted certificates. Is there any plan on implementing this feature? So i marked up a bunch of brackets in creoview.  I discovered a few brackets floating in space as I forgot to bring in its supporting structure I also created groups for all my markups.  I can't save the file with 2 files.  I try to merge them and I lose all my notes and groups Why can't you just load as many PVZ's together and Save it as one file and keep all my markups and groups.  I tried turning the groups into a shared type and was like oh cool it brought all my groups to my new PVZ... Oooh but they are all blank and didn't bring over the parts inside them... Well that was worthless.  I shouldn't have to start from scratch to bring in a missing part.  Even if it can't merge them.... It should be like Oooh I can remember where that second PVZ file loads from and say would you like to load secondary PVZ's from selected location and if not found let you browse or skip.      

We're in testing phase of implementation of Creo 8.0.0.0.  I created a family table of a consumable.  In this case it's Loctite.  The generic is created from our start part which contains three datums, csys and some designated parameters.  There is no other geometry or features. Add our designated parameter of DESCRIPTION to the family table.  The instance names are the Loctite grades, 242, 243, 262  with corresponding description.  Verify and check-in to Windchill  and all is well. Assemble the instances into the assembly item.  Constrain the instance datums planes to the part where I want to callout Loctite.   Model tree looks correct.  Check into Windchill and WT and CAD structure looks right.  Create drawing, BOM table looks correct.  However, cannot show balloons for the Loctite instances as expected like any other component.  Hum..  Scratch head.  Figure balloons need something to

After I run a flow analysis on a part, (Creo 9.0) I am unable to open the part again. When I try to open the original part, I get a blank screen of the planes of the part, not the part as originally constructed. Please see below.Any insight would be helpful. Thank you.

Good dayI am new to Windchill and I am trying to understand the Checking out and In of documents.As I understand, once the document (lets say a word doc) is created in windchill and I want to edit and make changes in the document, I would check it out, open the document and make changes and then check it back in. The rev will then change from say A.1 to A.2However this is not working for me.If I check out the document then nothing happens. it doesn't go anywhere except show me in windchill that it is checked out. ?????If I check out and edit, it prompts me to upload a document from my local PC....????? Confused.If I check out and Download, it downloads a wcdti file to my downloads folder and still no document. When I click on it, it prompts me to open the Word document. This is fine as I need to edit it but when I close the document it prompts to check back in and closes Word. What is the best way to check out, edit the document even if it takes 3 days and then check in the amende

Hello, I have been trying to be able to read files from a sharepoint using the sharepoint API's recently but with no luck.Does anyone on here have any experience with this?Mainly I'd like to be able to read excel files, but if that is not possible, reading CSV or just normal .txt files would also be fine as a work around. I've tried several different ways to do this... like GetCSVFile and GetText, neither have worked for me. Latest error I am facing when trying to read a .txt file using GetText is this:  JavaException: com.thingworx.common.exceptions.InvalidRequestException: Invalid Content Type: application/octet-stream Not sure why though as I am using the standard "application/json;odata=verbose" as requested by sharepoint in the Accept header field. Thank you.

Hi,I am developing a service that collects information about fies in a comma separated list. I have another service dependent on it and it calles the first service and saves the result in a variable. The result is saved to let result and the output is set to string. Despite this I get the error bellow in my second service wrapping the service returning the csv list. The error I get is: filepaths is org.mozilla.javascript.UniqueTag@3b4f00ba: NOT_FOUND. Hi,   I faced an issue when import drawing to a drw file. The matter as below: I have an Ori.drw and I want to create 2 sheets with the same 2D drawing in this file. Thus, I plotted one, then save as a new-name.drw (but common 3D data). Next, I import this new-name.drw to my Ori.drw. Sometimes all data completely import, both sheets remain same. However, sometimes the plotted dimension all gone for one of the sheet, only left sketches and part drawing. Does anyone have any idea why this happen and what should I do so that both drawing's data (dimension & sketches) are kept during import action,  Thanks.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.1When setting up a binding attribute for partslink classification, if I leave the namespace and node fields blank in the classification constraint, I see the classification attribute in the create new part wizard, but there are no nodes to select. When I add the namespace value to my configured namespace, the classification attribute no longer appears in the new part wizard.I see no errors in the MS logs
