Hi all, I'm a WC admin and my organization has recently made changes to our email addresses. I'm hoping to update our Windchill user's email addresses using Windchill's REST Services API, instead of changing them manually. I plan on writing a python script that uses Odata client to interact with the API, but perhaps it's not possible. I'm looking at the REST Services API and I see a GET request for the /Users endpoint which will display the user data. Unfortunately, I don't see a POST request for this endpoint. In short, I'm wondering if there is a way to update user data in bulk, without having to go through and change each user's email one by one. I am new to this, so I apologize if I'm missing something obvious. Thanks!  

Creo 9 user. Is there a way to regenerate parts/assemblies without having to click "Current Vals"? We set up most of our parts and assemblies with Inputs using Pro/Program. It allows us to read text files to easily generate models from "master" models. Unfortunately, this means that every time our top-level assembly is regenerated, we have to click "Current Vals" over 20 times. Is there a function like "regenerate with existing values" or "regenerate without Inputs"? I searched everywhere I could think of but found nothing. I would have thought this was a more common issue. Thank you.

We get timeout issues when we try retrieve a lot of data from a value streams. This causes the service to fail, and then data cannot be displayed in the mashup.1. How can we improve our services that use queries to handle large value streams?2. Are there limits for the size of the query it should stick to that ThingWorx can handle?3. Are there settings we can configure in Influx or ThingWorx to improve the performance or allow larger queries?4. What best practices can we use to handle large data queries?5. Hi, I have an assembly in which I am using fill pattern to create an array of parts. The spacing and the sketch of the fill patterns are parametric, i.e., I defined variables for them so that I can test various combinations of space and fill area to prototype faster. I have other components which I want to center with respect to the pattern. There are 2 ways that I have tried:1. Align the components with the planes of the global coordinate system. This does not align the components with the fill pattern because the fill pattern instance is not symmetric, which means the resulting fill pattern is also not symmetric with respect to the X and Y planes of the global coordinate system. Is there a way to center the fill pattern with respect to the global X and Y planes? Note that offsetting the fill pattern instance to create a symmetry there would not work since the dimensions of the fill pattern instance are also defined variably and would often change. 2. Hi all, I have a bending beam function that i would like to plot for the deflection, shear and moment in the beam. I have the deflection as the first normal bending part that is represented by afunction and the unloaded part after it, with a different function. I had it in Mathcad15 however now after converting to mathcad prime 7 it doesnt plot anymore. Thank you ! 

Hello everyone,I would like to pilot a repetition with family table, the fact is they dont keep the name in memory( first image).This is a big repetition so i dont want add 1 by 1 every subassembly. My idea is to pilot the component by is ID in the relations and find the correct lenght in is family table So my question is there anything like a function to schearch the ID of the component. I hope you understand what i'm saying. In ThingWorx 9.3, we are encountering issue with UTC time. When my application is requesting DB data from MashUp, ThingWorx internally (dont know how it is happening) converting the IST time to UTC i.e., adding 5 hrs 30 mins to IST and showing the data for the converted time range.When we are running the DB SP from the Database directly, the DB SP is returning the result accurately.We are trying to fix the issue in the Apache Tomcat configuration by updating the entry as"-Duser.timezone=UTC+5:30". But no impact. This ThingWorx server resides in the IST time zone.Can someone please quickly guide me. Thank you.

We have some legacy PR's in another tool and would like to mass create them in PDMLink.They have some data that is only used in the legacy system so when we create a new PR those attribute fields for that data are not available (so unless we change the PR object we cannot manually create legacy PR with that legacy data).

Hi All,in the "Creo Elements/Direct Drafting DWG/DXF Translator" manual (dxfdwg.pdf), its mentioned in the appendix "Hints and Tips for Translating MI to DXF/DWG" on page 65: “A dimension with a superfix, subfix or prefix is translated into geometry.” Does this apply to a radius like “R5" as well, or are there other ways to convert radii and diameters to a dimension  when exporting mi to dwg? Useful Hints will be highly appreciated!
