I am trying to create a 3d "shelled" object by blending the outer edges together to form the shape and then blending the inner edges to remove material.I am trying to create a blend using the references below however it fails to generate.Using the same references boundary blend seems to work just fine, I am not sure why this is so.I tried using a circle to circle blend and it worked fine and the wavy to wavy blend worked fine as well. I have no idea what the problem here is. By the way would this be called a shelled object or hollowed object or what would be the appropriate term?I am using creo parametric 9.0 student version

I have been running into this issue where when I select a point at the end of a line while doing a 3 point arc it does the following behaviour. It should be a pretty easy fix however I have no idea how to prevent it.I am using creo parametric 9.0 

Hi,I'm trying to figure out pricing for Arbortext with Styler, but can't seem to get a hold of any salespeople from PTC, I fill out a form and never hear from them. I don't know why the current shape is not Generaitve Designe.I'm trying to model by setting the Design Criteria to the safety factor, but it often fails. modeling before creation creation output The message displayed in Trouble Shooter is as follows.1. Simulation solver did not converge.Check one of the next options to resolve the issue:-Unconstrained rigid body motions.-Radically different material properties between bodies.2. The optimization did not converge within the maximum number of iterations.Try to raise iterations number or decrease element size in Study settings. So I modified the related contents and tried modeling again, but almost the same problem occurs.Turns out there are other issues... Does anyone know why the setting is wrong or not, or how to do Generative Design using Safe Factor properly???I would appreciate it if a GTO expert would answer.For reference, if you would like to model, please leave an e-mail.

Since I updated to Creo 8.0.4.0, every time I work in an assembly, Creo version 8.0.4.0 consistently freezes. The rest of my computer works just fine while it freezes. I tried lowering the graphics by including "-g:win32_gdi" to the existing target path but then I can't see existing parts in an assembly when trying to create a new part in it. I also assume that my computer meets the necessary requirements to operate Creo since I didn't run into this issue prior to updating to 8.0.4.0. I am curious if there is a work around so that I can keep from crashing and still see all parts within an assembly. Any assistance on a path forward is greatly appreciated. Thanks  

We are installing Windchill pdmlink 12.1.2.0 on a brand new machine What is the expected value for Base Distinguished name for ldap usersWe tried ou=people,cn=AdministrativeLdap,cn=Windchill_12.1.2.0,o=ptcbut does not seem to work - is it syntatically wrong?What is a correct format? or what is missing here please? The LDAP user distinguished name we entered as cn=Manager and the passwordWe are stuck here Since this is 12.1.2.0 there is no DS so we would be using a corporate ldap i believe. any insight into this please

As you know, when we open a CAD file in Creo, we have the option to preview the file in a separate window. This window shows the File type menu, file name details and preview. I'm wondering if it's possible to display the attribute details on the same window as the preview. This would make it easier to see the attribute details without having to switch windows. Example: File open… Browse Manikin Library ..  No need to openOn a second preview window, it shows few attribute details along with the assembly's name.It displays Gender, Country and percentile I would appreciate any help you can provide with this.   

Dears, I have amount of bound tags(greater than 1000) needed to monitor. When any quality turns to bad or other status except good, subscription should be triggered to send info. How can I config event or subscription to get this with minimal impact on system stability. Thanks.

I have a generic model with hole feature and has some instances. In one of the instance the feature is set to NO while others have set to Yes. The distance from edge to the centre of hole is added as feature in generic and is part of the family table. Now for the instance where the hole is not there the dimension is displayed from the generic model.. If the dimension for the particular instance is not available then it should be set to dash or left blank . How to solve the issue? 

How to define amount of points on the beam so i can plot better graphs.All my attempts failed because i have only 5 points on beam and don't know how to increase the amount of points with which creo works. I was using graphing tool from simulate results and it didn't allow me to create or interpolate thru existing points. (better way to do it woulde be to create actual points in mesh with which creo will calculate actual simulation)But how to do it? 

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.0.0Creo Viewer was not able to open pdf files (3d drawing was ok). Following the error message shown by Creo View, I found one of your pages with instructions telling me to uninstall Arcobar Reader and uninstall and reinstall Creo View.I did that, but now Creo View does not open. It doesn't even show me an error message. Nothing happens.Can you help me?Here are the errors that I facedI don't have any message. In fact, when I try to open a drawing clicking on the preview (which I correctly see) of the list that windchill shows me, nothing happens. No error, no waiting icon, nothing at all. But Creo View Express is correctly installed.

I have a ThingWorx snippet -Resources["InfotableExporterFunctions"].ExportInfotableAsPdf(params); which is creating a pdf file in the "ThingWorxFoundation\ThingworxStorage\repository" location, but I need that file to be created in my local machine not in the ThingWorx repository.1. I have thingworx 9.3.8 working normally. I need to install rttpm app. When I use the program "install-tw-apps-win.exe" the following error appears: "Service call failed with status code 502 - Could not connect to environment: self signed certificate". Hello all, My team and I have gotten LDAP working via an ActiveDirectoryDirectoryService, but need to be able to validate another user's non-admin credentials with LDAP, without logging the second user in. What services exist for manually validating an LDAP credential? We've tried the TestConnection, GetDomainGroups, and IsValidGroup services on the ADDS with admin and personal credentials, and they only work for the administrator.   

Hello, We have a certain quantity of a product as ADU licenses in our Windchill 12.0.2.10 implementation. This ADU licenses are assigned to users working globally and they are using functionalities which are part of this ADU License. (We confirmed this by removing users from this ADU license which prevented them with certain features which only works when users are assigned this license). But weirdly, we never see the license count being consumed in the License management page in our Windchill. Had created a TS case where they are unable to figure out. Is there a way to find out if the ADU license is actually being consumed or is this is an issue with the License management page not displaying details correctly? Has anyone faced such issues? Thanks in advance!Amar.

Hi experts,we use this service as described in Article - CS259031 (ThingWorx 9.1.14) but in some cases, there are files with a comma in its filename. This throws an exception like "JavaException: java.lang.Exception: Some files listed are not readable: [/24043033da000.iam/0, 7.ipt]". The real filename is "0,7.ipt" (without blank).The comma is used as separator like in the given example to create the list of filenames in var params. So is there any other way create this list without relying on special characters allowed for filenames? We need this feature because we want to exclude specific files from the list to be not included in ZipArchive.Any proposal appreciated - Thanks! 

In Creo 8.0 part mode, when attempting to go into a dimension to add a tolerance, the entire tolerance section is grayed out.  Is there a setting that needs to be changed to enable it?  Did not have this issue occur in Creo 6.0.  

We have to generate BOM based upon Creo model tree in Wtpart of that assembly
