Hello, In inventor there is a single button to break a part up that has had separate extrudes created in it and put those new parts into an assembly and create the assembly.If this is not possible.Is there a way to section Part_A in Assembly_01 and be able to "Project" the geometry of that section into a Sketch in Part_B which is also in the Assembly_01.There seems to be no way to do this simply that I can see and in Inventor its again a single button. Click and the section is now a sketch in the new Part_B.These sound like 2 different problems but they are exactly the same thing. I can project geometry into a Sketch while in a part but there seems to be no way to get that information (and stay referenced) into a new part. So changes made to Part_A automatically update Part_B Any help with this would be great.      

Hi guys, I am doing my master's dissertation and i have come across a problem. I have in my sheet Fourier series which is used to show displacement field in this research i am doing. The problem is that by the end of my calculations i have to differentiate a few equations with these Fourier coefficients. I am but unable to do this as in the differentiation operator i am unable to use anything other than variables in the denominator, i am unable to have the index operator in the denominator of the differential equation. I have just started working with Mathcad a month ago. I  have attached two pics to show what i am trying to get at. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you. 

Hi All,  We have been using this worksheet for a while which in theory allow us to look at different restrain configurations. Its always been a bit flakey, but converting to Prime seems to have finally killed it.  I just wonder if anyone has some advice on how to get it to work?

I'm using ThingWorx 9.3.6How can I add more templates to Dynamic thing templates ?I tried add a new  template through a Dynamic thing templates to  a mashup but I notice you have to bind a Entity Name. My question is how I can define an unique Entity Name to this Dynamic thing templates and make it found their own thing template?ThankYou.    

Hi, I want to make a value display to display my property value, but when I want to view the mashup, the value display is not visible. I already checked the visible button but still nothing changed  thanks  

In my mashup, I have dropdown widget. It takes datas from SQL querry, so it shows you a lot of possible choices and you can select one. Unfortunatelly, this list is quite long. So we would like to start type begining of name (eg. DA), and system should show you only selection which starts with this string (so DA01st20, DA01st30, but not DE01st30).  

I work from home periodically and access my company's network via VPN. Normally this arrangement works fine with Mathcad Prime.  However, every 24 hours my VPN connection times-out and has to be reconnected due to IT settings.  If I leave Mathcad with a worksheet open overnight, then the next day I find that Mathcad has switched to Express mode.  Even after I reattach to the VPN, Mathcad remains in the limited functionality mode.  I have to go through the licensing procedure, re-entering the license server name each day to get back to full functionality.  Is there a way to get Mathcad to notice that the license server is available again and reacquire a license automatically?  (I also use Creo Parametric, and it does this very thing.)    

@TudorMarin @Werner_E how can I make interpolated value of X2 for a specific value of C in Mathcad from given excel or from a mathcad table?    

The user is encountering an issue where the Actions tab is grey'd out for her as well as not having a save/complete task within the 'My Tasks' table.  Within further investigation of the workflow, we appear to encounter this error prompt.  "ATTENTION:The (Company Name) Document - (Document COA), (Document Name), (Library Name), 1.1 object cannot be submitted at this time. To compelte this action, you must have a submit work item for this object. You will receive this work item when the Submit task is active in the appropriate Workflow.What are the ways to solve this issue?     

Example an Object has following versions : A.1 INWORKA.2 INWORKA.3 INWORKB.1 INWORKB.2 RELEASED User is able to Checkout and checkin A.3 version file as A.4. How to prevent this?

Actually, I tried to change the filename on this method, but I can't change the name & number. Can you help me with how we can do this? 

Hi,I'm encountering an issue with the installation of Creo. In the attached file, you can see that it's requesting the "Creoagent.msi" file, which is not present in the required folder. As a result, the installation process is halted at this step. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue before?Thank you.     

Hi,I'm developing an experience in vuforia studio. with multiple animations. So here if user says close, it has to exit from the animation and navigate to vuforia view.So, how can we implement this in Vuforia Studio? For example, if the user is watching an animation and they want to skip or close the experience in Vuforia View, they can say "close" and it will immediately exit the experience and navigate to the Vuforia View scanner. Hi Everyone,   When I check in the part into Windchill, the link drawing is not collected not only that only the part version has been changed.   I found one config that only I can use in the above Creo 8 version. Using the api how do I get to the model parameters instead of the drawing parameters? I'm able to get to the drawing parameters but not the parameters from the drawing active model. Any advice?

Hello,i applied for a mathcad student license a while ago when i needed it, but now i want to use it again an the license expired and there is no way to re-activate it?

I paid for the license and I have my license key and the license pack. The installation seems to accept these as valid, but then when I go to the "application selection" screen there are no options to install the software. So, I'm pretty much stuck like chuck. What should I do? .

Hi All, I'm a beginner on Thingworx apps and I would like to understand it there is a way to create an integration between MES system and PLC (OPC) using kepware/thingworx. The idea is to read data form MES (es. SQL query) elaborate the data and then write result in a PLC tag (OPC). In the same way I would like to understand if there is the possibility to read data from PLC and send it to MES sistem via Restfull API calls. So my idea is not to create something relate to Analytics or enable AI, but a real-time system that work as integration layer beetween MES and PLC (in both directions). Is there the possibility to build something like that usign Kepware+Thingworks? Thanks in advance!
