Does anyone know if there's a way to parameterize the flag notes in such a way that those in the notes block and the rest of the drawing are synced? For instance, I have a flag note 5 that is now becoming flag note 4, since I deleted a note above it and I need to keep the notes sequential. However, it is extremely tedious/annoying to go through all pages of the drawing and change those flag notes 5's to 4's individually. I find this to be problematic for larger drawings (10+ sheets). Can I control it at the notes level and have the corresponding flag notes auto-update?    

We have an assembly that the designer put too many mounting plates in. The drawing BOM showed 26 plates but only 24 columns. When he went in and removed the 2 extra plates from the assembly and then opened the drawing, he received a message that the BOM count quantity had changed from 26 to 24. All good so far, Checked out the drawing and with the change went to check it back in. Message appears that nothing has changed so nothing to check in. What is Creo thinking when it tells you that the BOM has changed but it isn't changed for checking back in? Same thing but with a dimension. Changed from a single hole diameter callout to adding a 4X. Open the drawing, get notified that the dimension has changed, but nothing to check in due to being no change. In both cases, we had to do something in the drawings to 'force' a change that Creo would recognize as a change to get the changes checked back in. Very frustrating and in both had to open the drawings twice to realize what it would take to

We are using CREO 7.0.  An associate has a Harness that she is trying to figure out if we have all the spools for.  In the model tree, it shows all the spools, but some have a small box that maybe looks like a small schematic in front of the normal spool model tree icon.  CAN anyone explain what that means?  As you can see, we have other spools that just show the normal spool icon.  The model tree looks like this:And it is the spool icon in the red box that we are curious about.thanks in advance!!!!    

We have a handful of Mathcad 8 installations that are failing and reporting an exit code of -610 back to SCCM. Does anyone know that this exit code means? Or where the installation log files are located?

Hi, I am working with a collection widget that shows some properties of different devices, I want to apply a custom style theme that can be set automatically to the red background when a property crosses its threshold, I have tried to give a condition through service but it sets the red background to all cards while I want it to some cards whose property crosses the threshold. so how can I do this?  

HI all, I am working on USECASE where customers wants to download the production Reports in vuforia view(Tablet) which are available on thingworx platform.I know about vuforia studio and thingworx integration which is already done. here we are pushing the data from vuforia view AR experience while doing assembly of machine. But at the end of day we want production reports in form excel download on view. Can anyone help me in this to achieve. or anyone has already tried please guide for this output. thanks,Suraj Patil

I'm getting an error with the rehost utility for Windchill 12.0.0.0 on a Linux system. Oracle is on the same server and it is running. I can connect to Oracle via sqlplus <dbUser>/<dbPassword>. Windchill was installed as the root user and I'm running rehost.sh as root in a Windchill shell. But the rehost is failing with "java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection," and specifically "java.io.IOException: Connection refused, socket connect lapse 0 ms. <hostname_here>/0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 1521 0 3 true" with "target.db.hostname" in the rehost.properties file set to the hostname. I also tried setting target.db.hostname to 127.0.0.1. This is on a DEV server, so it is not configured with a domainname. Anybody have troubleshooting tips?

Is is possible to use Windchill REST Services to show whether a part allocated to an Operation (MPMLink) is unresolved? We would like to be able to export a step file with annotations but without quilts. Currently when selecting annotations, quilts are automatically selected and greyed out so they cannot be unselected. A PTC support representative already explained there's no way around it using the standard options. Please make it possible to export a step file with annotations but without quilts (product idea). Currently when we want to send a step file to our vendors (mold maker for example) it includes confusing quilts which are a potential source for errors.

Hello there, I am trying to find a way to print/ save my mashup as a pdf. I saw that the PDF extension did exist at one point in the marketplace but was removed. Most posts I have seen here up to this point have said to create a custom extension but I do not know how to create one to achieve this goal. Could someone help point me in the right direction or show me an extension that has been already made? Thank you.    

Hi Community, Please can someone assist me with this?I have created a data table and given it a datashape.  When I go and see the mashup, I'd expect to at least see the columns appear without any data. However there are no columns. When I run getDataTableEntries, I get a script this error: 'dataTable is not running'. What does this mean? how does can I remedy this? Regards,  

Hello all, as a simple example I use a sinus function where I want to find the absolute minimum and absolute maximum. If the function will be more complicated then the local extrema are not interesting currently. I am looking for the absolute values. To be honest I don´t want to make a derivation d/dt and find the corresponding times via solve block. I would like to use some kind of integrated function. Unfortunately "max(vector)" and "min(vector)" does not work. My function f(txx) seems to be not an array ... Hm. Also I have found in the F1 help menu a function for local minima and local maxima. I understand that it compares the array elements but it also doesnt help. Can you help please? My sheet is attached. Also here the screenshot:

I'm not really sure what is wrong with my document.   If I simply evaluate the function ZL() I get a vector output (or what I'd call a vector - matrix with one column).  When I take the same function and assign to a variable I get the error screen captured below.   Is there a way to explicitly define a variable to be a vector or matrix?   Or, is that not the problem?  I've attached the Mathcad Prime document.   EDIT:  Looks like the issue might be because I'm using a range variable (see link below).   So, how do I convert a range variable to a matrix/vector variable? https://support.ptc.com/help/mathcad/r8.0/en/index.html#page/PTC_Mathcad_Help/range_variables.html

Is it possible to always get the results in desired unit style say I defined a variable with mm after evaluating it shifts to m but I want to keep it to mm by default I know I can modify the unit placeholder but wanted to know if there is any workaround for this 

I have a primary / backup pair of machines that need to monitor each other. What is required for one machine to browse the tags of a second? Is there where DCOM is required with certificates etc?  My desire is to be able to shut off the datalogger groups on the backup when the primary is running and vice versa so I dont get duplicate entries in the SQL tables    

Hi All, I'm working on a problem of dissipation of entrapped energy in a steam turbine, for which I would like to calculate the energy and display the result with units. However, when I try to include the units in the terms Mathcad finds some errors. As soon as I strip out the units, Mathcad finds a solution without trouble, please see my worksheet, attached. Any ideas what the trouble is and if there is a way to include units in the equations? Thanks!
