I'm aerospace engineering student and planning to move from Siemens NX to Creo Parametric. I have yet few inquiries on the software.  As seen on Creo website, there are 5 available packages of the software (Essentials, Advanced, Advanced-Professional, Premium, and Premium-Professional). Does the student version include premium or professional features? e.g. manufacturing, mold design, simulation, and CFD analysis. If the answer is no, will I get any of those features if I upgrade to University Student Edition Premium License? With thanks in advance!

Hello, I'm trying to configure a database with replication streaming. I have three nodes. Is there a way to show the weight of an assembly simplified rep on a drawing?Secondly, if the rep is always named the same thing in every assembly, can it be automated from the format?

My company recently switched from Creo 2.0 to Creo 7.0. For the past few months I have had Creo 7.0 installed for the purposes of testing but just this week we switched over to using it for production. Up until this point I have just been using it for modeling and FEA work and never had any issues but today several people started using it for drawings and we have found a way to crash it consistently. To crash it we simply insert a custom symbol, middle mouse click, and the screen completely disappears. There is no error message and the program is crashing so quickly that it doesn't even generate a traceback.log file. I have been trying to troubleshoot this issue all day and I haven't had any luck. I tried all of the usual things like updating video/system drivers, setting "graphics win32_gdi", reinstalling creo, removing all customizations, verifying Windows system files, running a memory check...pretty much everything I could think of to narrow down a video or system issue.

hi, I want to move my pipeline from assembly to subassembly, now I am not able to do so because of assembly reconstruction errors, please help, attaching a snapshot for what I want to move, I have created a new sub assembly with default constraints, but still not able to move my .prt pipeline into this new sub assembly(hose_routing_1.asm), I have made entire piepline in the current assembly

Has anyone come across the issue of a STEP file being a facet model?Have you seen any log file like the one on the left?I've had a few different people on Creo 7.0.4.0 and Agile PLM MCAD 3.6.3 inadvertently create STEP files that are facet models.They did create STLs of the models at one point.The STEP log file even shows the facet itemsI'm unable to reproduce this issue, or even a log file that looks the same.Import of STEP file: This is the facet STEP on left and regular STEP on right. Notice all the PLM-type attributes, like APPROVAL (yes these are from different PRTs)

For the IoT Gateway to run, KEPServerEX requires a working 32-bit Java JRE or full JDK installation version 7 or higher. At this time, a 64-bit JRE or JDK is not supported. I Just wanted to know if we can use AdoptOpenJRE instead of 32-bit java JRE?  

helloI installed thingworx 9.2. And the sdk of the extension function used in the 8.5 version was applied to the 9.2 version and imported. but, the extension doesn't work with this error. I'm trying to insert an Excel component in Mathcad Prime 7.0.0.0, and I keep getting an error that Excel is busy.  But Excel is not running.  I have checked the task manager, and Excel is not open.Even in the list of background processes, Excel is not running.   Read Excel seems to work fine.

Our company cannot download these libraries, as our system is flagging them as malicious.  Is there a POC I can work with to resolve this with ZScaler? https://www.ptc.com/en/support/enablement/AdditionalCreolibraries

I'm playing around with selected elements of a vector, or array.  Suppose I only want elements 2..6.  Why does Mathcad fail when using a range for the index, but defining an index as a range does not?  Curious.Thanks in advance.

Happy New Year all! I'm testing the Architecture Editor in Windchill 12 (according to Managing the Positioning Architecture in Architecture Editor ), and out of curiosity, wanted to delete a node from the graph.I do not get the Right click to delete neither a node, nor an interface, as it says should work. ("To delete a node or an interface from the graph, click the node or the interface and select the Remove right-click action.")Tried in two different browsers (Chrome). Right click just brings up the usual menu from every web page. I have no extensions installed on Chrome.Any ideas?

Hi everyone!How can I delete/update experiences downloaded in Vuforia View for offline viewing? I know that there is instruction which says:1. Hover over the experience in the list.2. Use the pinch (hold) gesture to view the menu.3. Select Update or Delete.Put when I hovered over the experience to use gesture nothing happened. I always end up in opening experience which I want to delete/update. It's easy on mobile device but difficult on Hololens 2.Is there any different way to do this, maybe some voice command?

Hi!   I have very basic questions and problems with summation operator. Please see the attached worksheet for examples. First question, I'm not just able to understand how the high lighted sum (13) is calculated?   Second example is shown also in the worksheet. How would you use the summation operator so that you could prepare worksheet template and define the n in the beginning of the calculation and then the formula adapts with the amount of n? I mean so that you don't have to change the formula by hands every time the n changes?   Thanks in advance and sorry for the beginner level questions 😣   Br, Harri

Does student version of Creo has access to the "Manufacturing" module ? 

I am a beginner. When I try to solve a  differential equation problem, the "simplify" tool can not recognize the Sin(t)^2+Cos(t)^2=1. I have to simplify the equation manually. The attach file shows how I do this now. Is there a solution that Mathcad can handle the identity relation Sin(t)^2+Cos(t)^2=1.?

In MashUp, the arrow direction of Data Properties seems opposite, If I click configure bindings, the arrow direction is correct, but some event arrow is incorrect, it didn't show the correct color( the arrow should be black, but not)
