Between Christmas and New Year's I want to "play" with curves on graphs in Mathcad 14. I am particularly interested in the graphical representation of the Sici spiral (or named after Nielsen). It is represented parameterized in the Cartesian x-y coordinate system by x=Si(t) and y=Ci(t) with t>0. The Si and Ci functions are found in Mathcad on the f(x) menu. But they don't work in the diagram, even though I followed the instructions from the "Help". That's why I didn't attach a test file here. What am I doing wrong?Kind regards, Alfred Flasshaar

A detail view cannot have any of the names A, B, or C. When trying to delete the sheet, I get a message "Erased views will also be renamed." How to delete those views without deleting the sheet?I remember a long time ago that there was a command that allowed me to select and delete those views, but I lost that cheat sheet when I changed jobs.Does any of you remember it?Thank you

Hi there -We're on Thingworx 8.5.15.  I have a mashup that contains a dropdown widget.  I have a service that is used to populate the available choices for the dropdown.  I want to pass the selected values (plural) of the dropdown as a parameter to a second service for processing.  The second service takes a parameter of type String.  In this thread, @Ashritha states that it's a simple matter of binding the Selected Rows property of the first service as a parameter to the second service.  When I try this and log the parameter values received by the second service, I find that it only receives a single String value for processing. What must be done in order to pass multiple values to a service parameter and receive multiple values as a service parameter? thanks in advance,dgg

Hello,I am Application Specialist at my company.I want to transfer its license to another server.Unfortunately the former license supervisor of our organization at PTC eSupport left the company a year ago.I have two cases, one of them is to ask how to assign the super-administrator or just regular admin role of the organization assigned to his account and its licenses to my account (if necessery, I will confirm somehow, that everything that I am saying is true, just tell me how) I can't access former supervisor's e-mail account.Second case is the cause of the whole situation. One of our servers, started having bugs beyond fixing, unfortunately, this is the one that has mathcad license installed on it. I want to transfer the license to another server but it is assigned to MAC address of the current server, so it won't be working.Can you please help me or give some information, who can I contact to get help that I need, because I can't find any PTCs support mailbox.Best regards

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.3How is idA2A2 generated in the object DB tables like WTDocMaster, WTDoc?Is the value generated in sequence regardless of the table/object type?I verified the DB sequence, ID_Sequence but this does not seem to be generating the number in sync with the object creation.Please advise.

Hi All, I've recently started using Creo Parametric 9.0.1.0 and am getting to grips with the new model tree.  I'm working in a fairly large assembly, around 1800 lines in the BoM report It appears that when I expand all, it hangs for a looong time while it expands the model tree. Annoying, but fair enough given that it has got a lot of stuff to expand. When I collapse all, I get just the top level assembly icon at the top followed by a blank tree. Weird, but again fair enough. However the little grey arrow to expand/collapse the top level is then gone, so I can no longer expand the top level and start digging down into the structure, the only option is to expand all and have a model tree a million miles long again. I've discovered a workaround in writing this; if I click a part in the viewport and find it in the tree, creo expands the tree down to the level of that part, and the grey arrows appear again so I can fairly quickly collapse it back to a se

After migrating from MathCad 15.0 to MathCad Prime 8.0, I have a matrix in one sheet formatting exactly as I want it like this:However, in a very similar sheet, also migrated to Prime 8.0, the format has changed to this:The matrix will not display if I attempt to move the "ft" unit outside the matrix.  It is not a big deal for something small like this, but for a larger matrix, as below, it becomes cumbersome to get it to print.The matrix here is built the same way as the first image using the "stack" and "augment" functions, and the error message that pops if I attempt to format like the first image is "This value must be a scaler or a matrix." What can I do to format a matrix to get rid of the units for each individual value, and apply it to the overall matrix as I have in the very first image, just like MathCad 15.0 used to do? 

We have a mashup that is connected to Active Directory for authentication. When a user enters their log in credentials we have noticed that Security>Users is case sensitive. It will create a duplicate user name if the user fat fingers the shift key. For example: john.smith (actual log in name)John.Smith (Mistake)JOHN.SMITH (Mistake)When this occurs it prevents the user from accessing the mashup application until the duplicate user name is removed. Does Composer have a OOTB function that prevents this occurring or do we need to develop a custom solution to prevent this from occurring?

How do I export XYZ data from CreateMesh? I am exporting data from a Mathcad Prime 3D surface plot to a graphics program which will allow me to color code the surface based upon the Z values.

I have 2 tables called 'table123' and 'table246'.'table123' columns: 'ID', 'Dept_ID', 'First_Name', 'Surname', 'Salary', 'Address'.'table246' columns: 'Dept_ID', 'Dept_Name'.I'm looking for a list of employees with the lowest salaries in each department. I can accomplish it in two ways: an Equi-Join or an Inner-Join. I've been informed they can both be utilized to get the desired outcome. Using Creo 7.0.5.0 The A-A section (full) that is defined in the model (single body part) appears weird in the drawing. See this image:This is the same section, viewed from different directions (by just using Flip), yet the top one is missing the contours of the two holes and the chamfer. (note: I have not used the Counter Bore function, as the holes are normal to the outer 45° angles, and the larger diameter is on the inside). There are also two "ghost holes" seen on each side that shouldn't be visible in the this section (those holes aren't deep enough to reach the section).I have tried to regenerate, repaint, redefine, use other reference planes and create completely new sections, but no luck.Noteworthy is that I have similar B and C sections that work perfectly. I have tried to find any differences in how these features and sections are created, but I found nothing.Here's a view of the part and the section looks as expected. I've also highlighted the "ghost holes".

Hello, I want to automate geometry editing process in creo. The steps are as follows: 1. Importing geometry in creo (e.g. step format) from a directory in desktop.2 Perform geometry edit feature in creo & save in step format in the same folder. (Trail file regarding this operation is ready and working successfully.)3. Same process should be repeated for 'n' no. of geometries saved in same folder. Requesting for your help.

I have to identical equations using a square root (flow calculation).  If I use the "psf" units for lbm/ft^2, the radical doesn't evaluate the squared units correctly.  But if I force the units to be lbm/ft^2 under the radical, then the expression evaluates correctly to lb/s; mass flow.   I don't understand why this doesn't evaluate correctly.  Is there a way to make this more robust? See attached.

Hi Experts,   Please suggest a way to terminate user session from browser once the Logout is triggered. The user is being authenticated through SSO and want the user to click a button(probably logout) and should be redirected to login again to enter the Azure AD credentials instead of re-login automatically because the session is still alive.   I have already tried TerminateUserSession resource but that works only for Administrators group members and I have non-administrator custom user groups with specific permissions.   Note: Don't want to redirect to a different mashup/screen as a workaround.   TIA.

Migrated the Postgres DB from 10 to 13, but after the migration, data is not logging in to the ValueStream. Below is the Property Settings image. The DataTable entries are stored in DataTable Tables in DB, but not the Property values in the ValueStream Table. What would be the potential issue, or how can this issue be debugged?Thanks,Shashi.
