I find this comportement very strange but i know that it's possible to drive a dimension with a parameter in inheritance:1-PART A with dimension driven by parameter2- PART B with PART A in inheritance and with variable parameter and relation but with error with = or ==And with == i obtain this errorBut when i put this parameter A in family table creo calculate the value with good value in each instance but with relation error  Why creo permitte to do this if not possible??Many users test naturally to drive this...The other metod is to drive a dimension via a inheritance part with a parameterThank you very much for your reply 

Hi guys,  I just installed MathCad 8.0 and tried to give an value to F. Every time i tried to do it i am facing an error that i will put the video and photo of this below. I tried to figure out what is wrong with program and  I have repeatedly repaired .net framework, activated old .net framework versions from program properties, installed updates and nothing changed. When that didn't happen, I formatted the computer and reinstalled all the drivers from scratch, still nothing changed. Need a method to link Change Notice and Change Request.Similar to "ChangeProcessLink.newChangeProcessLink" which allows CR to CR or CN to Cn linkage only.Any inputs?

I created parts and assemblies in creo, which is connected to windchill, so they were stored in the workspace of windchill. Then, I need to check them into the common space of windchill. But there are also files like "s2d0049.sec", "s2d0050.sec" and so on, which I did not create by myself, but they appeared in the workspace, after I had created the parts and assemblies. Does somebody maybe know what the ".sec"-files are, and whether they need to be checked into the commonspace? Because as far as I understand, you would also need to rename every ".sec"-file so that it is unique inside of windchill. Thanks a lot for any ideas and replies!

I am part of a four-person company, two of whom use Creo/PTC without a PDM/PLM.  We use folders on OneDrive for development and that works really well. We include the rev in the file name and always rev the entire assembly using File > Save As to a new folder. It’s really nimble for development. Once we release for tooling, we have been using Grab CAD workbench. It works oookay but, Grab CAD is discontinuing Workbench, so we are looking for a new solution. Side effect of flipping who creates out Change Notice objects. We had previous automated creation so wcadmin was the creator. We finally flipped back to more OOTB where uses can create (I do not use Change Admin roles). When the ESI workflow kicked off, it failed since the creator of the CN whom it uses in ESI did not have rights to create an ESI Transaction. I have a Windchill system that has been around for 15 years, started at Windchill 8 with upgrades to 9, 9.1, 10 and 11. When I did my test run to upgrade the data to Windchill 12.0.2, I found a line in the log file saying I should enable Automatic Folder Rollover.  I have that enabled on my other Windchill system (Windchill 11.0 upgraded to 11.1) but that system also uses a single vault with folders under it. The older system was setup with 6 vaults each with folders under them. I would like to enable automatic rollover on the folders for this system. Does anyone have any ideas on what is needed? Do I need a single vault for this to work or can it work with multiple vaults?

Good day community, I have a connected device represented by a thing. There is a property on the thing called: last connection. I am representing this thing using a label and an icon on the mashup side. This icon should change to a green color when the device is connected and then switch to a red color when the device is offline. How do I go about writing a dynamic service to accomplish this?Many thanks,

As per the original post.    Hi VladimirN,   I am currently using Mathcad Prime 8.0.0.0 with a trial license. I am having an issue with the Excel component and am receiving the error mentioned in the article. However, I do not have permission to access the file as I am on a trial license. Would you be able to recommend any possible solutions? I am using Office 365 and have updated to the most recent version. I have also tried restarting my computer and have tried the Excel component on multiple worksheets with the same error.   Thanks!

Alas, in a flood of "CAD worker isn't working" posts I do think I have a new one...  Running on one VM are 2 instances of Creo and 1 instance of NX. The two Creo instances are identical (copy/paste) with edit to names (i.e. "instance 1" folder and "instance 2" folder).WorkerDaemon is set up as a service and runs automatic with a local system account. After a restart, when I check the the worker agent, the 3 instances on this machine (and only this machine. The other 2 work fine and are setup the same) shows the workers as not started and the worker monitor is off. If I toggle the workerdaemon to try to get some action, nothing happens. I can start the worker monitor manually and then only 1 of the 2 Creo instances starts. The only way I can get the other Creo and the remaining NX workers to start is to manually launch their respective worker.bat files.  Not sure what else to look at.Ports that are used for the workers?

I am trying to do some basic calculations. i was not able to create the custom unit for the thermal resistance, which is used for calculations in estimating the junction temperature in MOSFET.Theri is some unit conversion problems if I add 1 deg C to 5 deg C the result not 6 deg C instead 279.15 deg C.
