Hello I'm trying to find out if it is possible to rename a parameter value based on some dimension values.I have a model where we use a parameter called "Local_Description". This parameter is used on drawings to indicate some outer dimensions of the part.  Can I create a relation that takes input from dimensions, converts them to string and set's them up in a desired way? Something along this: ad451 =100ad452=200ad453=300Local_description = ad451 & "x" & ad452 & "x" & ad453  Resulting in the following  Local_description = 100x200x300 Is there a way to create this? Either with relations or with pro/program?

Hi,I'm working on Creo Parametric 8.0.4.0 and I recently added in my config.pro the line "tol_display yes" in order to have in my .prt files the possibility to see and modify adjustments and tolerances.It's working great except when I create, in my .drw, a tolerance not associated to a dimension.As you can see in this example, I can't see the flatness.Is there a way to solve this ?

Hi all, Is there any way to upload a .jpg or a .png from my computer as a representation to a WTPart or a CAD Document? We'd like to use a properly rendered product image as the visualization for our end items. I found some old instructions which show a "Choose Input Source" tab in New Representation window, but I don't have that tab at all. Was it removed in some update? Our Windchill version is 12.0.2.4.

I downloaded and used free trial, but want to continue to use the free version. I have a new computer now and tried to download the free version, but it says that I cant activate. Please help.

Hello, I am trying to create a value for the sum above to then plot in an overall graph of capacity vs increments.so capacity vs Ts.idx (100mm) increments.  IncrementTs.idx 0 would be 0 Ts.idx 0.1 would be 0.08+0=0.08Ts.idx 0.2 would be 0.321+0.08+0=0.401 etc and so on. so, the value of Ts.idx and everything above it Then I can see quiet easily and what total length would be needed to resist the ULS load in a good visual output.  

Hello, I'm setting up our company standard .hol files. I want to define a hole with the hole command and show that model information on the drawing. My problem is when you define the shape in the hole command for a counterbore or counter sink the note information from the DEFAULT_CALLOUT_FORMAT_DATA reads the .hol file. Is there a way to have it read the actual model information and not what is in the .hol file? It is not reasonable to have have a it read the .hol file for something that is variable. I have attached an example. You can see that the note is not reading the model information.

I am running demo version of KepwareEX and communicating Modbus to a device. IP addresses are on same subnet and can ping the device. However, when running quick client the update count stays at one for all tags? Even the ones form statistics and system tags do not update? The quality is good on all tags but none of them are updating. Any ideas?

Hello,I have an assembly which have a bunch of groups and inside those groups have a bunch of components (whose are single components and other sub-assemblies). I would like to expand those groups down to next lower level in tree or even expand down to a pre-defined level. Is there any workaround to do this?I am using Creo 7.0.6.0.B.R.R. Caetano

Mathcad prime 8 is having trouble understanding Vector quantity. When I open the worksheet, It automatically calculates and throws the error " This value must be scalar or vector".When the equals sign is deleted and replaced, the worksheet works fine.But then if I change the units from "m" to "mm", the worksheet looses the vector values again and throws the same error. Can someone confirm if there is permanent solution to this.P.S: I created this worksheet in Mathcad prime 7.0, recently got prime 8 installed. Could that be reason? Or just this version has the bug.  

Hello, I am having a problem with the Creo 8.0. It gives me a fatal error when I try to open an assembly I made prior. I have followed the steps by the following link on download config.pro as well as change the content in it. However, the system still gives me the fatal error. How to Fix "Fatal Error Encountered. Can anybody explain what the function fibonacci (undocumented, symbolic only, Mathcad 11) does?     It accepts more than one argument, but only the first appears to be observed. Luc

Hello, I am using creo parametric and windchill and I would like to open version C.10 (current version is C.15) and save it as newest one since I would like to "delete" previous checked in vesions. I am trying to do it with a clean workspace and then - history - version C.10 - add to workspace but I keep getting version C.15 when the file opens up... Does anybody know how to solve it?  Thank you in advance, 

I am getting a -10 error feature/license expired. I'm following their renewal process and it's just not working.  Cannot really find a legitimate way to contact them for help the site is not helpful and very circular.  Simply trying to renew my student license.  When the software loads there is a PTC License Renewal prompt, then when I enter my info (100% it's correct info), it just tells me 'Customer not verified'   Thanks,  -Steve

On a third-party site, we display a list of drawings from Windchill. Tell me, please, are there ready-made solutions so that you can view a thumbnail of a drawing on a third-party site?       Now I use the REST API to first get the ID by designation, and then get the visualization by drawing ID  

Does anyone have this problem in P8 where in full screen the left-hand side is clipped making it difficult to see/locate the area collapse button?
