Hello, I keep getting once or twice a week this DEADLOCK error in our system. we have looked are timers, schedulers, nested loops, with no final solution. I need urgent help to figure out what is causing it.Attached is Application Screenshot and Log Files. 

Good evening everyone! I have already presented the photos of the attached worksheet (which I give to this community) in a previous post. However, there is a small problem: why does transformation 28), at the bottom of the worksheet, go wrong? I thank those who will answer and also those who will find something wrong in all the work that has requested  "Stunde und Stunden der Arbeit"... I hope that, with the download of the worksheet, the bitmap images do not move from their original position, otherwise there will be a bit of chaos.  

Hi All   This is my first post for help so bear with me.   I want to use Prime for what used to be fast and easy in Mathcad 15.   I have a work round but it is so slow so asking the forum if there is a better faster way in Prime. Perhaps a future scriptable data file saving component?   First what was possible in Mathcad 15   Mathcad 15 had a data file export component. This data file export component when you selected "Formatted Text" did four things 1) Text in double quotes ended up in text file with single quotes 2) Text in single quotes lost the quotes in the text file 3) Adjacent quotes "" to indicate no data did not appear in the text file. 4) Numbers stayed as numbers In this way a very large text file could be generated from a Mathcad matrix quickly   Here is a simple example.   Primes current file output functions cannot duplicate this Mathcad 15 data components behavior.   Second how I got around the limitation. In many cases I need to create the Part object too. Can it be done using ODATA? Hi, I have three materials. Each with their own sub typesMaterial - TypeA             - A1, A2, A3, A4B             - B1, B2, B3, B4C             - C1, C2 My idea is to let the user to select the material and type. I was thinking on having a combo box to select a material and then a second combo box that would change depending on the material selected. I have been trying for quite a bit without luck. Maybe there is an alternative way of doing this? Any help is appreciated! Regards,

Hello, I'm using parametric creo 2.0. I want to make a thread hole in my part. I need to make an M36 x 1 thread, but I can't standard creo because it's a m36 x 4 choice.  is it possible to add a new thread hole to the drop-down list?

Hello - I always upload my files in my workspace at the end of the day or session.  My colleagues and I have never had to recover a file that was uploaded but not checked in.  But, we are all wondering the steps to do so.  Can a user recover uploaded files or does it have to be an administrator?  Either way, what are the steps to recover uploaded files?  Can they be recovered if the workspace has been deleted?

All, I am looking to recreate a part in Creo from another CAD tool. I don't use sweeps too much. I would like 1 sketch to sweep around - end points connected respectively to 2 trajectories. The sketch is basically 2 radii with a wall thickness being swept around. It is a plastic part. What is the best tool for doing this? Swept Blend? Blend? Other? Thanks, WayneF

In our drawings, we have some revision tables hand filled on each sheet . When a new version is made, we need to update each table on each sheet, whom is time consuming.I would like to set up parameters and used them into a table so that every modification on a sheet would be passed on others. We’ve got 7 parameters by revision, and need at least 5 or 6 revisions, so lots of parameters to set up. Is there a way to define these parameters directly into the frm format (from the parameters windows) ? Trying this, parameters are not recovered when a new drawing using this format is made.I wouldn’t like to insert these parameters into prt or asm files not to overload existing parameters (one solution could be to use a user defined parameter filter),I thought to use a family table and a repeat region (one instance per revision), but this could also be problematic for parts and assembly whom already have a family table,We don’t use Windchill nor any PDM. Do some of you have any bril

Hi,I've been going through the MPMLink PTC enterprise university and when it comes to built-in exercises they're supposed to be done on a dedicated - generic Windchill login credentials. (I guess I'm not allowed to share them here?)However when I try to use them either on live corporate Windchill or QA test session they do not work. Is there something I'm missing, is there an extra installation option or some external server?  Long story short - How can I access the Windchill exercise account with training files on it so I can do the stuff shown on training videos on my own? Best regards EDIT:Nevermind...the next page after an exercise presentation is an interactive html page where you go through the sequence....The first exercise has none for some reason hence I got confused 😞

Hi experts, Can Mathcad solve the below equation?  because I would like to get the result like the below table, but I don't have any idea how to solve equation 19. for example, when the coordinates are (0.48, 0.15), the result should be 0.653629. but I think my equation has an issue in there, so the result is wrong.   Could you please give me some ideas?

In 2016 I bought a perpetual license for Mathcad Prime 3.1 through my schools discount program. When trying to activate the product code now i get errors saying that the program ID has already expired. Hi all: i have a need to be able to rotate a greyscale 8 bit image by discrete angles, e.g. 10 deg, 13 deg, 22 deg, etc..  I have used the built-in rotate command and this does work, but ends up resizing the bitmap and translating the image.  My solution thus far has been to find the center row and columns of the profile that has been rotated and translated, use the submatrix command to extract the array i want from the rotated/translated image, and then resave the bitmap.  this approach works, but was wondering if there was a more efficient/clever method to avoid the rescaling/translation.  I have attached a sample bitmap that i would like to be able to rotate and the same image I have rotated 18.86 degrees clockwise using the approach described above.  Thanks..

Hi together, we are currently testing the newest version of the Arbortext Editor 8.1., because we are using 7.1. M060 and want to update to be up to date. We are using some customizations in ACL like sending the full marked text from the xml to a java interface, which sends the xml content to a web service. This webservice returns an "errors.xml" back, which we check and create a xui window with these entries of "errors" and show them to the user.We noticed with version 8.1. that our java_static command gets an exception. If we install 7.1. M060 the same code works. Do you think that behaviour has something to do with the java integration in the arbortext editor versions? Or: Do you have an idea how we can send the xml content to our webservice without java? This is our ACL code:$sel = main::selection$java_rueckgabe = java_static('ArbortextServiceWrapper','CheckJurBookPlausibility',$sel) Greetings from Germany

Checking to see if anyone has gotten this to work successfully. I've been trying to debug some weird PSI issues and failures. PTC articles have sent me down some rabbit holes as I have stumbled through one error message to another. I am circling back to this fundamental setup and trying to determine if it was the source of my issues all along.  My other post detailed issues getting a standalone instance of WindchillDS running. PSI fails to detect that WindchillDS is running and bails (windchillds installer appears to have failed to start. Its PTC and/or XML log is missing). I looked this message up and its not the tmp folders. Strange thing is WindchillDS is running. I can see the install, stop it and restart it. It looks fully installed except PSI did not finish.  I only find one posting (cs368618 ) that says "you are on your own kid" with regard to SELinux. I'm going to try flipping to permissive mode. Perhaps I can see if OS is blocking something. I suspect poor error
