Hello, I am currently trying to update an old Toolkit script from Creo 5 to 9, and a couple functions,(ProGtoldataFreeStateGet, ProGtoldataDiameterGet etc.) were updated to ProGtolValueStringGet. I was looking at this article Article - CS280972 - How to use ProGtolSymbolStringGet and ProGtolValueStringSet to replace deprecated Creo Toolkit API 4.0 and onward (ptc.com) for assistance, but I was unable to discern what the actual output of ProGtolValueStringGet would be. I tried printing it out to the console to figure it out, but I also could not figure out how to get the otk_install.exe from the otk_install.sln that I am running the scripts on, to print it out. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you,Mark Hardebeck

We have scenario where we have data stored in csv files stored in local computer and we need to read the data into thingworx which is present in cloud. we then have to visualize the data loaded into thingworx from csv in a mashups. Any leads on how we can achieve it. we also have kepware where we can use simulators to read csv files to a tag and then read the data from the tag. But is it possible to read files directly into thingworx without interacting with kepware.

Has anyone managed to get multi-threading to repeatedly execute the same statement as if it were repeatedly changed manually i.e. any trick that can automatically change a worksheet expression or parameter in such a way that multi-threading detects as a change and executes the expression afresh e.g. a counter that advances each time multi-threading acts on it?

Hi,I got the Radio Buttons on the List widget,Problem: The selected radio Button stays only when we Hover on it. It should be selected after hovering or until the next list item is selected. Hello All,   Need your advice!  I hope to learn how to create a "group" in Vurforia view when during Billboard, it will turn together. I am using a IPAD to view the menu as shown below, the Front view is the menu, as i turn, the button or 3D images mess up, as it does not turn to per the front view.   Can any one provide me some guidance? is there a lab to of step by step guide.  I am using just Vuforia Studio without any apps or library. I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.1.0I used to be able to open solidworks files from within creo. But now when I select "open" there are no solidworks options listed in the filetypes. And if I select "all files" the solidworks files still don't show up. How do I restore the ability to open solidworks files? I think this change happened when I switched from creo 8 to creo 9, but I'm not sure about this timing.

Hi, im trying to create QR codes to deeplink to experiences that have spaces in their project name, such as'Sample Project' If I urlencode the whole thing to something like vuforiaview://ptc.com/command/view-experience?url=https%3A%2F%2Fvf-es.ptc.com%2FExperienceService%2Fcontent%2Fprojects%2FSample%20Project%2F and build a QR code, the link is shown to be invalid. Without the spaces, e.g. for a 'SampleProject', everythings fine. Am I missing something here and is there a way to fix this? Thank you so much

hello, I have seen an error popped up when i was trying to authenticate the windchill DS with base DN credentials to get the DS backup for ongoing to upgrade which requires the backup of LDAP and windchill DS.the error message : An error occurred connecting to the server. Details: javax.naming.CommunicationException: simple bind failed: 0.0.0.0:4444 [Root exception is javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertificateException: No subject alternative names present]

I have a drawing which is applicable to multiple designs that use it. Creo supports import of a drawing into another drawing.  Importing this reference drawing into a new design works well except for the fact that all tolerances are removed from the dimensions when it is imported into another drawing.   Any ideas on why Creo is removing the tolerances upon import?   Creo 7.09     Ref drawing view:   Same view when the ref drawing is imported into a new drawing (no tol display).    

I am trying to change the tolerance values displayed in the graphic window using a config file. I have entered the values I require in the config.pro and it shows up in the configurations settings as well. But the values displayed in the graphic window are different.

I'm sure this question has already been asked but I couldn't find a topic on it.    Is there a way to break apart or split a "non-repeat" region table? I've imported an Excel table into my drawing and I need to break it apart because it's too large to fit on my drawing sheet. Pagination only works with repeat-region tables.   -Cory

I ran into a problem where Mathcad 8 (or 4 which I used previously) does not show the correct value or units for a calculation. I would send you the file with the calculations but I see no way to do so with this form. This may be the only error that I have detected while running Mathcad over the years.

Hi team, I have a column matrix with 98400 rows. I want to divide this matrix into multiple matrices with 25 elements in it each. So 3936 matrices. And want to store all the 3936 matrices in a variable, so that I can call each matrix with indexing. For example I have Matrix C with 1 column and 98400 rows. I want to divide C matrix into 3936 matrices, and also able to call each C1, C2..C3936 matrices with 25 elements each.I am trying to do this using for loop but there has been no success.In the attached example I have given a column matrix with 50 elements. and want to work out to divide that into 2 matrices.Thanks
