Hi,I have a Link widget that always fails the second time it is clicked. It is meant to download a file, which it does the first time, but then sends the user to a default "Could not provide media" page the second time. I've fixed the issue via an auto-refresh pointed at the service that provides the URL for the Link widget, but that only works if the user waits to click again. Is there a way to cause the link to be disabled after it is clicked once? I was hoping Thingworx allowed services to reference widgets, but sadly this feature does not exist from what I've read. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to convert legacy files (.xmcd) to PTC. I am using the 30 day trial. The "XMCD, MCD Converter" button is not active. Is this because it is a trial version, or is there a way to activate this feature?

Hello,  I am a new user of Creo 8.0. I am trying to create a sketch for a flange wall in sheetmetal mode. It will not allow me to change the orientation of the sketch, because Sketch Setup is grayed out.   It doesn't matter if I am defining or redefining the sketch. Anyone know the secret to accessing this?

Hi, I use parameters from Thingworx to update the position of a model. Unfortunately, the update rate is rather low, so the "animation" is not smooth. Instead, the object jumps from the old position the new one. In the past, using different tools, I fixed this by calculating the distance/frame and then applying it every frame. I know that then there is a lag (since I have to way until the position is updated to calculate the distance/frame) but that's OK, it is not super time critical.  So is there a way to get the refresh rate of the renderer and is there a function executed every frame? BestHornhaut

A handful of years have gone by since I asked the question on whether it was possible to either generate your own 2D text style font or import this from an outside source.   By any chance has this become easier to do?   My goal is to have a set of text characters that are matched to the text font used with our hand stamps.  The 3D characters do not machine correctly.   I did a lengthy Google search but couldn't find any solution.

I use Windchill 10.2. I'm an untrained Windchill admin for my company. For the first time we have a .prt and .drw that need to be revised to 21, our system seems to have the maximum numerical value set to 20. See the message from Event Manager below. Either new revision value "21" is not valid, or it is not greater than the existing revision value "20". Specify an appropriate value for the new revision. Where in the Windchill Utilities do I find the place to change the max value?

Hi! I'm trying to make a template for engineering calculation for hydraulic cylinder sizes and was wondering if there was a way to do the following: I have a function that spits out a number. I'd like it to be able to find the closest match to this from an array/matrix that I've already made. For example, lets say the calculation spits out a minimum necessary size of 3.054. The next available hydraulic cylinder sizes that would work is 3.25, then 3.5 then 3.75 then 4. I'd like it to spit out 3.25 as the answer. Thank you!

Hi there, I've been having a bit weird issue. I'm using Section Views in postprocessing, and it keeps messing with the color representation of selected values (as seen on images below). When I tilt the surface to some extent, the colors are OK, but as I'm moving it back to perpendicular view, the colors change as if there was weird light reflection going on (which probably is). I have tried to turn off the lights in Scene Editor, but it did literally nothing for the Flow Anaylsis modue, as if it had some lightning on it's own.  Any suggestion what might be wrong?Thanks

Kind of annoying, every time Mathcad 8 opens it launches the browser and opens the what's new site, can this behaviour be stopped? I've not been able to find any option that set this, didn't happen with Mathcad 7. Thank you.

Hi,If I add a geometric tolerance to a drawing dimension, the program proposes it to me as follows:I don't like the dimension line hooking to the tolerance instead of the drawing dimension value.I would prefer the dimension line to snap to the drawing dimension value, as shown in the following image edited by me with "Paint".Is it possible to obtain this result? We have a customer Stakotra Manufacturing (customer number: 134130) and they have a problem with assemblies with fatal error. When he open the main assembly, then he open part, he check the mass properties in the model, doesnt change anything. Then he close the part and see main assemby, Creo regenerate assembly and then Creo fall down. I have a traceback.log (in attachement). Do you can check the file?
