I have an Mashup(Temp), which has an TextBox, When ever I enter an Value it is getting updated in the service(Demo). Hi, I'm working on an Excel VBA tool that imports a lot of pvz files into Creo and saves them as .asm's. Works like a charm when I do this by hand (obviously, these are not real CAD models but facet geometry). If I run the code below, I get a Type Mismatch error on te line starting with Set Model = session.ImportNewModel... The weird thing is Creo actually imports the pvz, because if I do File > Open > In Session, I can see and open my example asm (testjaap.asm). Does anyone know how I can get the model opened?? I tried all kinds of things, but nothing works so far... Hi,   I have installed Thingworx version 8.5.1 with MSSQL server 2017 as default persistence provider. I have one doubt on thingworx database creation on SQL.   Do we need to add the name "twschema" under thingworx database?. I have not added twschema name but schema tables are created when I run the below schema command. Refer the attached screenshot for schema thingworx tables after running the schema script. Hello, When moving from Thingworx 8.x to Thingworx 9.x, I can see there are many changes starting from the database schema to widgets in the composer and performance. Almost all the modules and subsystems are impacted. I would like to know what has changed majorly in terms of product technology which has led to so many changes. This is just to understand so as to continue development with better knowledge. Release notes points to very specific cases. Is there any technical documentation which can help us to understand this? I used DeleteDataTableEntries service to delete entry .   I got 1 remainder : Does not have an event trigger defined for service.   But there is no event available for that.   Please let me know how to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance.

I am facing the same problem. I need to set the Cache Method  to "Read From Server Cache". But I can find no documentation on how this is done. The only thing I have found is a support article (https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS276903) that states that I should use:   catcheOptions: "Read from Server Cache", But that does not work, even if I change the keyword to cacheOptions. Any help would be appriciated!

Hello, I cannot find recent reports about Modeling Express license check, but here (Bergamo, Italy) the license server is unreachable since two days ago. I already asked a PTC contact, but am still waiting for response. As a suggestion to PTC, I say that if I had a dream about this subject, it would be that all of these limitations, that make hardly comprehensible how other competitors can release slightly restricted free software, are finally removed. Hi,    I have a toggle to change from one view to another view(e.g View A to View B). I need to disable the toggle from the start of the sequence being played in View A. When all steps in view A has finished playing, then the toggle is visible to be clicked to change to view B.    How can I solve this issue?

Hello,   I am trying to send data from the Moxa Nport5150A with a RS232 message, but I am not sure about what settings I need to have on Kepware to successfully perform this communication. On the moxa webserver I can configure the operation mode (TCP/IP Client or Server, RealCOM and so on...). I know the IP Address of the moxa terminal server which I can use in kepware for identification. However, there's other settings like ID of the device or address of the tag which I do not know how to setup correctly. Also, I would like some clarification on what driver should be used for this and why. Thank you in advance!

Hi, Still new to Windchill, so forgive my ignorance.   I am tuning my Windchill test server and am just curious about how exactly does the number of Method Servers effects the performance of the system?  When would I know to increase the number of method servers and not just the heap size on those servers? Also when would you ever want to have a different number of method servers than the recommended amount given in Configurator.properties? Is that even a realistic situation?   I guess maybe I do not fully understand what the method server does. I understand that the method server is responsible for the interaction of objects, and enforces their behavior and business rules,  but from the clients end is there specific performance issues that they would encounter?   For example, say I have the recommended number of method servers (based on my number of CPU cores), is there some event(s) XYZ that a client would have, or I could have visibility to, that would signa

Hi guys.   We have some old mapkeys, and I am trying to update/ optimize them.   I've made a ton of map keys with no problems, but for some reason I cannot get this to work.    I want to make a map key that creates a datum point, then open up a UDF.  The map key runs the datum point, but does not open the UDF.  Does it need a pause somewhere?   If i make 2 seperate mapkeys, each one will work indipendantly, but i want them in one mapkey. I know I can have a mapkey call up mulitple mapkeys, but i'd like to get this to work without making a bunch of individual mapkeys.
