I always want material removal simulation to stop where tool must be changed.  How to make this a default?

Hi All, I would like to automatically select all the surfaces (1,2,3,4) between two highlighted surfaces ( 1 & 4 , See attached image) in creo. The thing is I don't want to select all four surfaces individually. Is there any command or any way where I need to select only 1st and 4th surface and creo would select all surfaces in between automatically? Your help would be highly appreciated.

Hi everyone,  i want to make kind of a infoboard (see attached picture), where i see the step names of my sequence and below an additional info-text. I started to make a gauge with this image and added the step-names of my sequence to this gauge by this code:   var labelId = "gauge_steps";$scope.$on('newStep', function(evt, arg) {      $scope.setWidgetProp( labelId, "text", arg); }); This works fine and my stepnames are shown in the top-left of my gauge-image.   Now i want to add some additional info text under the stepnames. I was thinking about just placing a 3D-label and controlling the text with the steps of my sequence.    How do I make a line break in a label to add more infotext and how do I align the text to the left?The reason I added so much information for this simple question was, because I am also wondering if there is another (more elegant) way to make such an "infoboard".   Thanks for any kind of help!

All I'm looking for is help, guys!   I am running Creo 5.0.4.0 with Windchill 11.1 on Windows 10.1 This issue was first discovered while I was running Creo 5.0.0.0 on Windows 10.1. After upgrading to Creo 5.0.4.0, the issue was fixed for about a week. Since then, the issue has come back and I cannot check-in through the embedded Windchill browser on Creo.   I have run into an issue where I am unable to check-in, revise, or set state of files when the operation is done from my workspace or Windchill Commonspace. However, I am able to check-in by opening parts in Creo, and using the manual File>Check-in option.   At first I thought it was just being slow. I let it sit over the weekend and the loading wheel never stopped. It seems like the embedded browser is getting "stuck" after I click the check-in

Hi,    Currently I working on AR project for step-by-step assembly process and we actually not familiar with Vuforia.    Need advise for my problem regarding my concern on 'Play' button that I have created. I need Vuforia to display the sequence instruction when user click on 'Next' button. For now, the first step instruction display throughout the whole process, but I actually want one step with one instruction process.    Hope anyone can advise me on this matter. Really appreciate it!

Hi! I'm wondering if there're some ways to show relationship between Mashup and Thing services? Typically, a Mashup will bind some Thing Services and internal Expressions/Validations, the relationship is quite complicated and working in different level. So I'm wondering if there're some ways to show relationship, or extract data from .xml source code and show it in diagram? It will be very very helpful to design review and documentation. I made this mashup  I want to know if i can change a background color of a cell in the grid advanced depending of a cell value   Ex. In the first grid i have a value of "Diametro" it is diameter in spanish, if the value is between  100 to 200 the background color will be green, but if the value is under 100  the color will be red   Can i do this with a service or another tool?   Ty

hii, i want to create a pdf using mashup. I am having an INFOTABLE which I am giving an input to the COLLECTION widget using the service GetDataTableEntires.But all the cells in the COLLECTION widget are showing the same Data Repeatedly (Which is the last entered entry into the Database)Even though trying with Repeater Widget, the same thing is happening. Even the Repeater widget is showing the latest entry data in all the cells.

Greetings,as per title, I am unable to connect a Kepware server to a cloud instance of TWx. I've been able to connect multiple other servers, so the issue must be on this machine.I configured the Project->Thingworx tab like I always do, after creating an industrial connection via ManApps and following the relative instructions, but I always get this error:   "Error ThingWorx Native Interface Connection to ThingWorx failed. | Platform = danieli-dev.cloud.thingworx.com:443/Thingworx/WS, error = could not establish a websocket connection."   I've tried disabling encryption and using the 8080 port, which results in this error:   "Connection to ThingWorx failed. | Platform = danieli-dev.cloud.thingworx.com:8080/Thingworx/WS, error = could not initialize a secure socket connection."   The machine which is running Kepware is still running Windows 7 and in order to install and run Kewpare I had to follow this article (CS321323) to install the required certificates,

Hello,I try to install and open Mathcad 15 on a new PC and when i try to start the mathcad exe, i get an error message that is in german and i propably cant translate it 1:1 but it says something like "the requested license contains an error. invalid host / the hostid of this system does not match the hostid specified in the license file...". I downloaded the setup and installed mathcad with it multiple times because i wanted mathcad on my 2nd drive thats not the c drive with windows on it but even with custom installation selected in the installer, it installed mathcad always on the c drive and i shifted the license file around a few times aswell and tried opening mathcad during mulitple iterations of this process. I thought i mention that in case that might throw things off or corrupt the linces file or whatever. I deleted and reinstalled the license file aswell naturally.And also, if i am on the website and press on the top left corner, select "manage and monitor software" and press

Hello,   I am looking for a way to get the name of services within the services themselves.   Like if I wanted to write the name of the service in the log like this: "logger.info("serviceName"); I found an old support article that seems quite similar to what I am looking for: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS219740   But it seems like this might not have been implemented?   Does anyone have any ideas? I know I could just write the name of the service manually, but I might have several services where the same log will be present, and it would have been sweet if I didn't have to manually write the names.

Hi, I'm new to the ptc creo and I'm trying to use the extrude option while in an assebly and the idea is to extrude from one part till the surface of the next as shown below with the green lines. The extrude is from the casing let's say, to the cylinder, however, it doesn't seem to be visible. I've added the extrude to the part, but it's still not visible. Can you please help? 

I want live streaming of ip camera in thingworx I have one ip camera which will supports RTSP protocol. It will send the stream to the RTSP server. But how we can connect thingworx to the RTSP server? How can thingworx will communicate with RTSP server? How to play live stream in thingworx mashup? HTML5 widget support .mp4 and .m3u8 files for streaming so how we can convert RTSP stream to .mp4 file Or If camera will send the stream to HLS protocol should thingworx will inetgrate with HLS server?   So many question are there how thingworx will achieve this? Please suggest a right way.

Hello, I purchased a permanent academic licence for MathCad Prime 3.1 in late 2016.  I have had to replace the HDD on my computer and have re-installed Mathcad Prime 3.1 using the DVD which came with my order and Mathcad is working in express mode right now.  However, I cannot access the flexnet software (insufficient privileges) required to install my licence and restore full functionality as I do not have a current support contract.  This does not seem right to me as I was told that I had a permanent licence for Prime 3.1 when I bought it.  I am attaching my latest licence file from PTC if this helps.     Any assistance would be appreciated.     Mike O'Neill

I am able to filter data based on CreatedOn, but can't see any options to filter based on userId. I am still trying to get my hands dirty with the OData. Appreciate your help here.

Our company has been using MathCAD Plus 6.0However it doesn't seem to work anymore when we migrate our operating system to Windows 10 - 64 bits.We're looking for a solution that allows us to continue running our Mathcad files (*.mcd) created on the new operating systemwith minimal hassle. I have downloaded the trial version of PTC Mathcad Express but couldn't use that to open the mcd file.Could you tell me what options I have? Will MathCad 15.0 work in this case? Thanks.

Hi , I want to have popup on each cell click in collection. as a notification feed i am displaying few info at each cell but to show detailed info i have another mashup which loads when cellWasClicked. but to show particular cell's info i need to pass cell identifier/any value through which i can display the related info on mashup which is calling on cellWasClicked event of collection. Anybody knows how to do it?? Thanks
