I am new to Creo Object toolkit. I had some experience using Creo customization using VBA, that too few years back.   Problem: I want to create a section in assembly by picking a face of one part and want to know section of other part which is intersecting first part. I used sample example available in OTKXCrossSection.cxx Issue:  1. When I run the program and select the face of part as reference for PlanarXSection , it gives error as 'XToolkitBadInputs' 2. If I select the datum from the part, it creates section without any output. Hi, I'm newbie to mathcad and i have a issue to configure a smps and i want to find the input impedance of the power supply, my problem is that the my array INC:=1;2000 doesn't work and if i put a fixed value it say's "All evaluations resulted in either an error or a complex result". Hi,   I am looking for advice/direction on best practices when it comes to creating API Mappings and Services for custom mashups.  For example, is it best to create these on the ptc-windchill-OData- connector or somewhere else.  If created on ptc-windchill-OData-connector, what are the best practices in regards to import/export especially when moving from one version to another (e.g., 8.5.3 to 9.0)?   Any advice/guidance would be appreciated.   Thanks,   Roy

Hi,We are using Integrity 10.8Is there a trick to open the Project view in Integrity Client GUI with entire project content visible and just one file member highlighted in the tree ?Currently it seems that this is not possible, by using the URL below, just one file member is displayed and everything else is hidden.integrity://server:port/si/viewproject?project=ProjectPath&selection=FileMemberNameI want all the project content visible, just highlight one of the file members. Hello. I have written a program to explore an assembly, by connection to an open PTC Creo session (using of ProEngineerConnect()). This program uses the function ProSolidFeatVisit(visit_model_cb) to visit each component of the main assembly. An the called function visit_model_cb() uses itself the ProSolidFeatVisit() function recursively. So, the entire assembly is visited. My probem is that I can not detect the hidden components, in visit_model_cb(). I tried ProFeatureVisibilityGet(), ProFeatureStatusGet(), ProAsmcompVisibilityGet() but all these functions return true for the visibility of the visited component, even if this component is hidden in PTC Creo. I would appreciate any help to solve my problem. Thank you. Best regards.  

Model Axes not showing up in Drawing Tried turning on/off in View  Tried changing Config to yes & all sub Tried hide/show in Model tree   I can see them briefly if I rotate View Type with the Angles toggle but they disappear after clicking OK. all other datum feature show up fine 

What config in the drawing config file controls whether a "Limits" dimension is Lower-Higher (side by side) vs Higher/Lower (above and below)?        

First I'd like to apologise if this question has been already asked by someone else but I didn't find similar. I've got a question about using parameters for dimensions. I understand meaning of parameters and also know how to use it. I know I should set parameters for some informations which can be useful in Drawing (e.g. inside drawing table) later (like material parameters, part/asm name, etc.) and I heard that I also should set parameters for some type of dimensions. The problem is I cannot find out in which situations should I do it. The only tip/answer I found is that I should set parameters for dimensions that can be changed in time. But... all dimensions can be changed while working on project actually. So, could you please explain me when to set parameters for dimensions?Also if you have some another informations about parameters and its using I'd be grateful for giving it.Thank you very much in advance! 

Hello, Using thingworx 9 and Manufacturing apps 9.0.0.0-1. We ran into some Data table entry issue, When we access the Factory Console mashup we only see one tile which is the Thingworx composer tile. After further drilling down to the source Data Table we found there is a localized data table that is being used to display the tiles. Using the mashup functionality on the data table itself we do see all the entries in the data table but when I run the service GetDataTableEntiresLocalized there is only 3 entries in the table. Not sure how to access and correct this, Any help would be appreciated. Attaching screenshots for reference.    Regards Nadir Khoja

Hello Everybody   Yesterday I was working on my projects using my personal laptop because I have the free version of 3 months. and then I had some problems of "rest api failure". I didn't found any file in my (Things, datashape,thingshapes....) so I decided to restart my computer and after thingworx started to work again normally. Today I tried to connect but I have this page and I really don't know what is the problem, the only thing I get is this page.   Could any one help me please ? I had all my projects on it and it's verry disturbing.

Hi,  Every time when I fixed a bug in the local dev system and then import the thing's entity xml file to the testing/production system,  the value of persistent property get reset in the target system.   I have to manually input them again.    Why is the behavior  designed like this ?  or it's a bug ?   I'm currently using ThingWorx 8.5.5 , but the problem has existed since 8.4 at least.    Regards, Sean

Hello everybody   I'm trying to upload images that figures in my repository in order to visualise them in a mashup, First I created a simple service for this that return image link based on selected items in a list which are Strings (E1,E2,E3,....) but I figured out that it's not that simple because I can not bind the image doesn't change in my mashup.   Actually I need to visualise images that exists in my repository but I don't find the file.   Now I don't understand why I don't get the image from my file

I used the createSite Service in Thing: PTC.SCA.SCO.DefaultShiftManager to make shifts. I made several sites as a test. And I used the delteSite Service to erase sites. but The site deleted without initialization of 'siteUID' For example I made four sites.and then I delete 1,2,3,4 siteUID. After I made new site but I got '5' siteUID I want to get '1' siteUID I want to know how to reset siteUID. Thank you.    

I have installed Creo 6 in my system, but facing a lagging while doing part modeling not able to select the datum plane for creating a sketch, Earlier I was using Creo 5 and I have not faced such an issue with it. Please help
