Hello all, I'm using in a project ThingWorx 8.4 and we need to use a version control system. Can anyone suggest one? I read mainly about GitHub a lot of people use. If GitHub is the system to take: GitHub-Extension for ThingWorx (should work with 8.4.3) -> where to download? GibHub-Server to use, e.g. https://github.com/ ? Thanks. Best regards Partho

Hi, I am looking to execute service on button click but its executing after selecting required parameter from Dropdown. requirement is ..i need to submit 'year' as a parameter to service , but when i select year from dropdown then only service gets executed instead it should be on button click.    binds selected row of years to service parameter,    thanks            

Thingworx 8.5.2 :   Configured a popup which is of background screen's height.It looks perfect at 100% zoom level.But if I increase zoom level to 125% or 150% some of it is cut.I have scrolls for the entire page as I am using mashup with fixed width and height.Scrolls are helping me to view background screen but not popup.I am unable to scroll the popup to view it completely as there is no scroll bar for popup.How do I view the popup completely at a different zoom levels?   Please find the attached screenshot at default and 125% and 150% zoom levels   Note : The background scrolls which you see in the attached pictures does not help popup   

Hi,I use the error message function to inform me about some errors in a few functions. At the same time I use on error operator to get already calculated results in a loop. Without it I can't see what is happening (I can't get already calculated results). I want to find out which function causes an error without using debug mode. Is it possible? Simplified example without loop is attached.

Removing the coloring, the model is of a very bright white color.It looks like an excessive reflection of light.Depends on what?Could it be tied to an old color.map instead of the appearance map?

Hi   I have three variables in Inductance (L) value calculation for buck boost converter - Input Voltage, Output Voltage, Output Current. All three can vary. I would like to plot L value as a function of these three to determine the Worst case inductance requirement. In the attachment I have attempted 2D graph but how can look at sensitivity of L value this with 3 variables?    Regards Prasanna

After upgrading to thingworx 9.0, my mail extension v3.6.0 stopped working giving me this error when trying to run the SendMessage service. "Unable to Invoke Service SendMessage on EmailNotificationThing : null"   I've tried removing and reinstalling the extension. And creating a new thing from the MailServer template.    Has anyone run into this issue?

Im trying to add a copied body skeleton in my motion skeleton assembly, this is possible but its placed in the top of the assembly (what happens when you place a skeleton in a normal assembly). I would expect to be able to move the new body skeleton down to the bottom of the modeltree but this is not possible (in Creo 5). Any help would be appreciated.

hello, after create user in mashup want to add that user in user group. if want to add admin, i give first name, last name, contact number, emailid, username and password after enter these fields i have click on add admin and after clicking add admin it will store in thingworx user list and add that admin to user group. please refer attachments below, first attachment is add admin mashup, 2nd attachment is thingworx user list and 3rd attachment is studio admin user group which i want to add user 

need to know how to control decimal places of family table parameters in drawing family table itself

I am having some issues with getting a couple of assembly files to publish. I am guessing when we get to putting these files into a drawing, the publishing times will increase even more and still fail. Trying to get some parameters set so we can publish these drawing later in the week. I have increased the time outs to short 600 and the long to 5400. I have increased the publish.cadtimeout.assembly to 15000.   Any suggestions beyond increasing these numbers again? I will increase them later.   Windchill 11.0 m030 CPS16 Creo 4.0 m110      

I have the existing workflow, which is enabled - Unable to open the workflow or delete this workflow. Unable to disable the workflow as well. Is there an option in the settings or is this just a bug that prevents me from deleting this workflow? Anyone has some hints what I can do to delete the workflow?   Remark: Also deleted the connected account    

Kind of a multi-part question. I have added a 2D audio widget ('audio-1') into my project. I would like to have it start playing only when I touch a 3D image.   1) How would I go about implementing this? I've been having issues figuring out the code and the path name to reach this. Is it $scope.app.params? Is it $scope.app.fn.triggerWidgetService('audio-1', 'playAll');?   2) Just in general, can someone help me understand better all the pathnames? It's kind of a pain trying to figure out what works and what doesn't. Likewise it's hard to figure out how to have the code trigger events like animations of .pvz files (svc.playAll for example). If someone can kind of type them out and/or help me understand how to derive these things, it would help immensely. Loosely I understand the bindings that the UI provides, but it's still a little confusing trying to actually type in the line of code that's syntactically correct to do what I need it to do.   3) If I wanted to have multi

Hi ,   I'm new for ThingWorx platform , try to self study from the online document .    I have question about the purpose of using the ThingWorx connection server.    "ThingWorx Connection Server provides a server application that allows the connection of remote devices that use the ThingWorx AlwaysOn™ protocol to the instance of ThingWorx platform. This Connection Server handles all message routing to and from devices, providing scalable connectivity to ThingWorx platform."   For the Manufacturing App , it is look like ThingWorx connection server is doing the same task which KEPserver acting.    in the production environment I can choose between ThingWorx connection server or KEPserver to get the data from the remote device .   Is my understanding correct ?    Thank you

Community,   I have encountered an unusual problem in a drawing.  I have an assembly that consists of only solid components, and when I added the model to a sheet, it uploads with no problems.  However, when I add a wire harness to the assembly, and upload the assembly again, the assembly is extremely small.  When I suppress the wire harness, the drawing returns to a normal size.  Has anyone encountered this type of problem and is there a solution?  Thanks in advance.

While creating a assembly drawing I am getting too many sketches displayed (in Pink and blue color) inside every views, its child parts are created with many features like merge, surface extrusion, cosmetic sketches etc.,   From top level assembly how can I hide all these sketches using layer and rules? instead of finding actual child part and hiding its sketch feature.

i have both creo 6.0 and 5.0(EDU) installed, when i insert mm/DIN fastener it seems to be fine, but if i choose ANSI bolt like 6-32 Socket, it will say csdd.prt not found. i did navigate this file, it's not in  ifx_fastener_data forder  but in prolibrary. i want to know how to add path of prolibrary with  ANSI standard to IFX, or how do i merge  all prt files from prolibrary to ifx_fastener_data folder.

I am writing a system of equations and I want to plug values in for my remaining unknowns from a range of values and graph the resulting function. I actually want to have several variables be range variables while known variables are just one value. Do I need to build filler matrices for the single value variables to match up the matrix size or can MathCAD see the single variables as scalars to multiply by the matrices? I want to solve the system of equations with a brute force method instead of solving at many different points to cancel out variables. Any help is appreciated. I will be searching the help files until I get some help figuring this out.   PS in the example I set a range variable of step size 1 N/mm to 100 N/mm and have the other variables defined as single value variables but I get the error message "This value must be a scalar or a matrix"

Hi guys,   I am trying to show a tool tip mashup on a map.  I created the map and have bound data to it. I also created a mashup for the tooltip with two properties.   If I link the mashup to the tooltipmashup property on the main mashup the two properties do not show that I need to bind to the tooltip mashup.   Is this a bug in Thingworx 8.5? Anyone else experienced this or how to fix this.   This post refers to the tooltipmashup properties but they aren't showing on my main mashup.

Hello,   I am using guide for connecting Raspberry Pi 4 to thingworx. But thingworx is not updating value from raspberry pi 4. It is remaining on zero even after showing in raspberry pi 4 terminal that all 3 properties are updated. Please help me to solve this probelm. Is it problem with raspberry pi 4 or what??   Thanks, Preet
