Hello,   I'm attempting to create a Value Stream to collect data from one of our OPC servers.  Currently, I have the OPC server setup with PTC's OPC aggregator to connect it to Thingworx, and I'm getting live data.  I, then, wanted to track that data for use in small time-series charts and statistics.  I thought the right way to do that is by using a Value Stream to record changes in the properties.   So far, I have a Thing with the bound properties from the OPC server.  They're set to Logged.  I also have a Value Stream that the Thing is referencing.  The problem comes when I try to execute the QueryPropertyHistory service.  Thingworx spins for a few seconds then returns the following error:   Unable to Invoke Service QueryPropertyHistory on Test_Thing : com.thingworx.common.exceptions.DataAccessException: [2,006] Unknown error occurred. Contact the administrator if this re-occurs.     I'm an admin on Thingworx.  Has any

Hi, I'd like to show timer increment every second on mashup, which is based on the property values 1 ON and 0 OFF. I'd like to start counting the time till property has value  (OFF) and the store it in database that I've already connected to my Thingworx. Your help will be highly appreciated. Thank You! Naeem

Hi, Thingworx version 8.5.1   We have created a Integration connector or HTTP thing and mapped few OOTB oData APIs under API Maps tab in development environment. Data fetched from Windchill as expected.    Issue: When we export this thing to another Thingworx 8.5.1 production/BAT environment then the mappings not getting copied or populated under API Maps tab. Please assist.

Hi,   I have got a xml file using "GetXML''. I want to convert it to an infotable, so am using the "FromXML" snippet.But when i execute it , it says "Must have a datashape defined to add rows." I am in a dilemma as to why exactly I should configure SSO with ping federate for production server when Windchill authentication itself does the work? Can anyone here who have successfully implemented SSO with ping federate tell the exact difference between Windchill authentication and SSO configuration while installing navigate with Ping federate.

For a couple of weeks we've been able to enjoy a beutifully working functionality on this forum:😁 Copy and direct past of pictures, or even Mathcad equations.🤗 All of a sudden it's gone.😞 What happened? Didn't we praise it enough, or was the forum software updated...   Luc

CREO 6 STEP file export options - CSYS user defined FAILED Jumping from CREO3 to CREO6, we lost the ability to export STEP with a user defined CSYS. Sure we had seen the thread of, 'CREO 4.0 STEP file export options' and check box the Customized Export. Once OK is clicked, the pop-up window does appear with the Coordinate System selection all GRAYED OUT. Thus, there is no possible way to choose a user defined CSYS from the file.   Tried looking at the FILE > DATA EXCHANGE > EXPORT PROFILES > STEP > SETUP EXPORT PROFILES and nothing was found of value to toggle or activate this option. Our engineering team is very stumped by this. It's stopped all data translation into the Metrology department and the Simulation group on ANSYS and HYPERMESH. Also, each of our customers have odd defined origins related to their vehicle setups from OE thru the Tier-1, -2, -3 levels. We cannot share data now.   In other words, we are sort of dead in the water at the moment with this.

Hi all, We need to decide whether to put the DB for TWX Navigate on a separate server, and how often to back it up. It would be helpful if we knew what sort of info gets stored, and how big it will be.  At a guess, the data is role based user configuration and possibly some mashup config. Does any Windchill data get cached here? What else does the DB contain?   We will be using Postgressql. If the DB is small we can keep it local in the Navigate server, which would be convenient.   Thanks -- Rick

Hi,  I have a problem when using a defined vector in a function. As you can see below, the variable (i), goes from 1 to 3 with increments of 1. When I use this variable in the function Dl(i) and Di(i) it returns one extra value in the answer, (0). (See where the arrow is pointing in the picture below)   This becomes a problem when I later on is going to use i.e. Di(i) in the equation shown below: What I want to do is to remove this "extra" 0 for all functions of (i) Anyone that can help me out?

Hello,   IFX catalogs and fastener data is unable to download to the local users machine from windchill.  We are running windows 10.  I am the admin and all the .dat files uploaded to Windchill are from my computer.  I have not trouble downloading if I run CREO in administrator mode.  But other users only get as far as Windchill writing the ifx_catalog folder and ifx_fastener_data folders.  The files from windchill are not able to be written to the local computer.   Any tips on how to get this to work?

Mathcad 15 M50 Error: The Operation Completed Successfully. v15 is needed to open and convert older file formats, but V15 will not run. Windows 10 64bit, users do not have admin rights.

Hi everyone!   I'm beginner to thingworx and I'm having very difficult to configure a value display widget.   I was able to bind a data on value display and it is having worked well.   My problem is:   How to configure the color, text, font, alignment that value display?   Below is the picture of my mashup with value display and its configurations:     And below is the picture of my mashup in mode run:     It's possible to realize the wrong alignmente and I already tried to create a "Style Theme" and it don't work.   Can anyone help me with this alignment issue?   Regards Leonardo

Hello,   I'm working on a sheet which should update the options in a second (and third) list-boxes based on the selection of the first and second. (ie. selection a type of steel elements, the second list populates the options for steel grade depending of the element type selected).   The bug is that the later boxes don't update until they're clicked on. I want the lists to update automatically once the previous selections are completed.    I'm fairly new to the control script so I think the issue likely lies in my sequence.    Any help?

Hi All,    I need to create a pattern like this...      I've built it about 10 differnt ways, but it seems to always fail on the inflection point here   I'm sure it something to do with normals being flipped for the curve as it goes over the apex. (start points on curve flipping from botttom to top - if you copy and paste the middle curve from the first group in the patter and conpare the direction start point to one from a failed group you can see what I'm talking about )     basically what I've done is create a spline, place a point at a real distance of say 5mm from start, another at 10mm and another at 15mm. (I tried patterning this 3 times to get 3 points at 5, 10 and 15 for construction but then Creo was complaining about patterning that)     I then constcted 3 curves that were normal to the spline and through each point   then a new sketch over that to add rounds   then I pattern that construction and
