I've got a skeleton that I'd like to manually place in an assembly, is it possible?   Normal behavior: A true skeleton part assembles itself like you've selected "default" constraints and it shows up near the top of the model tree.    I'd like to assemble the skeleton in another position, for instance:  skel_cs   to  alternate_cs. Observation:  Once the skeleton is in the assembly I've tried to redefine the placement but the normal redefine menu pick isn't available.

Hey Guys,   I have created a service which filters out events from an advanced grid column eventType... A filter button once pressed pops up a mashup with boolean events which are applied against the filter.  At the moment, it will filter when I reload the mashup, however my mashup parameters are not resetting once the first filter is applied and my results field fails to update and retains the previous filter selection unless I reload the mashup.  So i'm wondering how these mashup parameters get set / reset?   \\\ Loads like this. Filter pressed. Mashup pops up, default all check boxes are set. Apply filter on setpoint change / warning active   Apply filter again to filter all events No change to the table, the previous 2 events are still displayed as shown in the third picture.   I am using an events router and a (clearevent) service to fire when there is a change.

I have one user who is consistently having issues with family table instances brought into their assembly. in most cases, the parts come in at the generic size and do not regen and update to their proper dimensions. I have set regenerate_read_only_objects to yes in the system config.pro. I have logged in with my non-admin account and added instances to an assembly and they all regen to the proper size.   What other setting could be causing the files to not regenerate?   Creo 4.0 m080 Windchill 11.0 m030 CPS08

Hello, I have created the mashup and I can view mashup with the widgets that previously have been created, but when try to edit, it shows me this error "Unable to create widget layout. Please contact your widget developer" at the top and also not able to see the widgets that I have created.  How to resolve the issue? I also have attached the screenshot of thingworx composer. Hi All , Is there a way to create a AR Experience in Vuforia Studio which will be compatible to view in all size device like iPad , iPhones and Android Phone  I have added some background-images in my 2D canvas with iPad size , it viewed perfectly in iPad but if I try to view the same experience in different size device like iPhone the background images get automatically crop  All some of the 2D Widgets like toggle button with Images are not viewable properly also the arrangement of widgets are not properly placed  Is there any solution to make this compatible with all size devices and view the same like it is in viewed in iPad

I'm trying to update our sheet format to have values in a note that are driven from the part parameter.  The only way I've found to do this is having the parameter string in a table such as when setting up a title block.    For example, if I want the description from the part to show on the drawing in a spot other than the title block, I have to have the &description in a table and that would be driven by the Description in the part.  Can I do this without using a table?  When I use a note, it just reads the string name entered in the sheet format and doesn't change to any value that I assign in the part.

Hey Guys,   I am trying to figure out how to resize this time series chart which I believe is inside a contained mashup, but I am not sure and trying to figure out if it is.  I am new to TWX and need a bit of help.   Plan is to move the time series chart to the right to make room for the list widget which displays a drop down of items to plot against the chart. To All,Does anyone know what the config options are that control the default constraint types when assembling components? I have engineers who, when attempting to assemble say a flat washer to a surface, get a normal placement vs. parallel like would be expected. I want to mill text in steel. The text is 30 "degrees" With the font3d (and all other 3d fonts) it gives a circle. But what I would like to have is a "tube" geometry, with inner and outer diameter. Of course I can add another feature but I would like to have it in the same sketch. See .png attached Enhancement request? Or am I missing something? It's for Creo 2.0 (with 4.0 coming up). Ruben

I don't do to many drawings, when I do it's painful.   In this case another user built a drawing format that is unusable due to text sizes coming across incorrectly. As you can see when I start a new drawing most of the text comes across at the same size but not exclusively so.  The format for this title block looks fine.  I know for a fact that the text height changes when you begin a drawing based off the drawing format.  What would I need to do to get this under control?

Hi.   If I have a service that returns an infotable, is there any way that I can declare within the service the data shape that it's supposed to return? I'm talking of the field in the photo attached. Is there a way to declare it programatically?   I'm asking because within the service I'm removing specific columns based on an input parameter, and I want to bind this output infotable to an Advanced Grid, from where I need to State Format the columns. But if I don't fill in the Data Shape, I won't have access to the "Configure Grid Columns" setting of the Advanced Grid widget.   Thank you.    

Hello,   Thingworx provides a way to edit already existing analysis models and their pmml files. We only want to update/replace the old .pmml file with a new one (updated weights). However by doing that, the prediction does not change with the new pmml file. We also tried restarting thingworx and thingworx analysis. We strive to create a generic solution for updating an existing analysis model with a newer version of the pmml model. The input parameters of the used pmml model always stay the same.   For the prediction we are using the following analysis provider: TW.AnalysisServices.AnalyticsServer.AnalyticsServerConnector   What we also tried so far: When creating a new analysis model, thingworx seems to store the uploaded *.pmml models in the following location: /ThingworxStorage/repository/TW.AnalysisServices.ModelRepository/Provider/{ModelName}.pmml   However replacing the model in this folder with a newer version (same inputs; only with updated model weights/pa

I have used a regression line to find a curve fitting my datapoints.Now I want to know the lowest point on my curve and I am trying to find that by finding the point where the derivative of the regression line is 0.   So I made a formula g(a) using the results from the regress function (by refering to entries in the regress solution matrix). I can use this function correctly to plot the curve and to calculate results for different values of a. However when I want to get the derivative it gives me a formula including the regress function. Solving the derivative for 0 is impossible.   To check if I use the correct functions I also made a formula h(a). Basically the same as g(a), but now I have manually typed the results from the regress function in the formula, instead of linking to the regress solution matrix. Now I can get the derivative and solve for equal to 0. However this is not convenient if my datapoints change, because I have to manually update h(a) each time.   I

Hello Creo Simulate Community!   I am running a static structural analysis on a block placed into a slot and welded. My area of interest is the weld. I am using a weld feature from the Welding Application. When I look at the results, there are singularities near the weld (reentrant corners). When I try to isolate the edges of the slot for exclusion, all the elements that make up the weld are also excluded. I have tried using the mesh control for a component, but weld features not considered to be a component. Is there a way to control the welds mesh size that I am maybe missing?   Thank you all for your consideration on this question.

I am trying to make a comprehensive UNIFAC model program (it is an activity coefficient model used in chemical engineering). Currently I have it running and it works correctly, except for the user to be able to use this program for any size mixture system, they must edit the component matrices manually. For instance, if there are two species in the mixture, the user must edit the first vector to have two components and input the corresponding values, and they must edit the second matrix to have two rows and then they must input the corresponding values. What I want my program to be able to do is have the user input the number of components and this variable will produce both the vector and the matrix of the correct corresponding sizes. After these are created, then the user needs to be able to edit the values of the matrix and input the data that they need to run. I know how to make both vectors and matrices of variable sizes but what I need help with is making these resultant vectors
