Hi,   I have created a 10mm thick plate that has to be screwed onto four linear guide bearings.     In the IFX-Diaglog I selected the face of the drilling and the front and back-face of the plate. Then I selected the screw that I want to use. After that IFX asks me, if I want to create a single screw or if I want to insert the screw on all instances. I selected "insert on all instances", but the screws are only added to one of the four bearings(4 of 16 screws).     When I try to use the "reuse"-command its not possible to select the face of the drillings of the other bearings.   To create the other screws I created four new screws for every bearing. It works, but its not very nice to change the size of the screws, because I have make a change four times (for every single bearing).   Is it possible to add all the screws to all four bearings with one feature? Maybe someone knows a better solution ?  Thanks, Maik

Hi Folks,   I'm trying to do a fresh installation of Thingworx 8.3 version and followed required steps and configurations but getting 404 error everytime I try to load Composer (localhost:8080/Thingworx)   Below is the Error log and Platform-settings json code. Hello,   I have existing Vuforia experience service tied to my old Thingworx instance. I want to link the existing experience service link to a new Thingworx instance. Now I am configuring public access according to installation manual page 88.   Problem is that, I cannot find GetClientApplicationKey service in EntiryService entity. What should I do? Hi,   I would like to move WTParts to a different context and/or folder but when I try to select a different context location in the Move operation, only two of the several contexts display in the Set Location drop down.   With Policy Administration I have added Full Control for wcadmin on the Root domain for All Contexts but does not work. Still only the two contexts get displayed.     Where in the configuration am I missing something?   Please assist.   Thank you 

Hi, In the footer of a mashup, I am using the collapse and expand property. In the footer, I have a tab responsive widget and their content. In this mashup, on click of button, I am expanding and collapsing the footer content. But when collapsing it is occupying some empty space, how to remove the empty space.Thanks,Aditya Kumar

I'm using a Given - Find block for an equation with multiple solutions. I'm trying to use an inequality sign "<" to force the solver to give me a solution in a certain range of values. The solver seems to ignore the inequality sign. Is this a bug? Does the Given Find block ignore inequality signs? Or am I doing something wrong?

I want to increase the number by 1 inside the label every time a button is clicked. Any help would be appreciated.

Following the instructions here: it says the manufacturing app and service app downloads should be at: To locate the download, go to the PTC Software Downloads page and expand the following folders: ThingWorx Platform > Release 8.5 > ThingWorx Manufacturing Apps Extension or ThingWorx Service Apps Extension > Most Recent Datecode. However I do not see them:   I can find the Service Apps here: PTC Smart Connected Applications > Release 8.5, but no manufacturing apps.   This post indicates it might be a licencing error.  Please let me know what I need to do to resolve.    

I've been reading and searching what I can am I'm just not getting it!  I have about 10 users of CREO.  No windchill.  But I want everyone to use the IFX fasteners.  I want everyone to pull from the server.  And I want to make the IFX fasteners be named our company standard fastener names and part numbers.  Can anyone give me a run down on how to get this ball rolling?

We are transferring file from TWX repo to device where EMS is running, after downloading we observed that file permissions on device is (running on Linux-arm) changed from rwx to rw. executable permissions are missing. We need exec permissions also, Please suggest a solution for this.

Hello. I am trying to implement a digital Andon solution. In order to trigger an issue, I must publish to an MQTT topic on a specific endpoint (so from TWX -> external MQTT endpoint).   Is that possible to do from a Javascript TWX service? Or do I have to create my own proxy behind a regular HTTP API to accomodate for ThingWorks lack of capability in this regard?   Googling is difficult because it seems apparent that TWX is capable of becoming a MQTT-server, but I need it to act as a client. Possible? How?

Hi,      I am using Windchill Rest API and TwxIEWebService SOAP API. Using these APIs I am consuming CAD Documents and Change Request. But I am not getting any information of related part. Say Change Request "CR001" is related to Part "P0001", or CAD Document "CAD0001" is related to Part "P0002". How could I get the related Part information using REST or SOAP API?

I try adding 355.302°F+9°F which should equal 364°F. However, mathcad keeps giving me 823.972°F. It doesn't care if I use the variables or direct numbers.

Is there a way to capture the user lock event, when user gets automatically locked as per User Account Lockout Settings in UserManagementSubsystem. We would like to capture the time(last updated) when user was locked/unlocked as part of audit. Also if user is locked manually through service,still user gets unlocked as per settings.Is there a way to keep user locked until user is manually unlocked

We use Creo 4 with Windchill 11.   If I want to change the file of a CAD part or assembly do I need all the upstream assemblies open or in session? In the past we were told that by not doing this the connection to the file would "break" and our upstream models would either not open or open with the downstream part/assembly missing.   Example:  CAD_1.asm is used on CAD_2.asm. If I change the file name of CAD_1.asm (IE: CAD_11.asm) do I need to have CAD_2.asm open/ in session to keep the relationship or will Windchill push the updated file name the next time I open CAD_2.asm?
