Hello All, I have this issue with the substitute function when in conjunction with Explicit. It doesn't display all components of an equation no matter what I do; see attached sheet. Any suggestions? Raiko p.S. MathCad 15 on a Win7, 64 bit machine

I'm having this bug in TW 8.5.0 where the reworked widgets are not always showing up. When I press 'view mashup' 10 times, I'd see the new widgets 1 time. I have set up 3 environments with TW 8.5.0, and I have had this with 2 out of 3 environments: - One in the cloud (don't know what database) - One with PostgreSQL - One with MSSQL (with no issues)    Will this issue be resolved in 8.5.1? And when will 8.5.1 be released?    Jasper

I have mashups that use the advance grid extension in 8.4. I just upgrade to 8.5 and the message to replace the legacy widgets, which will soon be deprecated. How does the advance grid will be affected?

Hi, We wanted to send a text from a textbox to a service on text change event. We are providing a data input to the text box and when that data is changed in database it will change in textbox, at that time it should trigger a service. We are connecting the text changed event for this. But, the text changed event is working only if it is edited manually. We do not want to manually edit it as we are going to hide the text box.   Thanks, Shalini V.

Hi guys,   I am working with Manufacturing apps in Thingworx 8.5.  I have created a new availability KPI that I want to display on the Production KPI mashup.   I have done the following: - On all my templated I have overridden the KPInames service to include the new KPI - I updated the GetEquipmentNetworkForKPIs service with the underlying PopulateProductionKPIsTreeGrid service to include the KPI in the InfoArray on the PTC.Factory.PlantStatusUtils thing. - I also updated the PTC.Factory.PlantStatusTreeDataShape and PTC.Factory.EquipmentStatusTreeDataShape to include the new KPI.   On the advanced tree grid widget in the mashup I can see the new KPI but when I select it to include it in the grid columns it is not shown when the mashup is loaded.   Any advice on why this is happening and how to allow me to do this?

Hi guys,   I am having a problem with Creo View. It is the free version.   I design something and guys in workshop need to open the assembly so they can actually assembly it. We use free version of Creo View for this.   They open the main assembly though the company network and some parts will not load. As shown on the picture.   This is just a basic model of a conveyor but as you can see somme parts are missing from the drive mechanism also the conveyor belt didnt load up and lots of other parts too. I circled some in the model tree. As you can see they are not ticked but when I try to click on it it just wont  do anything. I think the parts would load or something. Would you have any ideas why this is happening? Thanks Radek.

Hello,   I want to create a service with JSON output, I want the output to always have the same structure.For example my structure is composed of 3 fields (field1, field2 and field3), sometimes one or several fields are null, but I want to see them in my output, regardless. In my code I have :   result = { field1 : "some value", field2 : null, field3 : "other value" }   but my service gives me only :  { field1 : "some value", field3 : "other value" }   How can I have field2 please ?

Good morning, while I was trying to debug and run my Vuforia Studio Projekct with Javascript, this error popped up (see studio_error). Also the console from Google Chrome showed me this (see Error_console).   I was trying to read from an inputfield and paste it to the console. Actual I want to read from an .txt File, but in this step, I just want to have the output in the output text field. I have received a file to plug my variables in and use. But after 14 pages (the file is 34 pages long) variables stop being defined. Literally for no reason: they're defined on the page before that, they're even defined in a similar formula to the side, but after a certain point, the whole thing just stops computing.   I tried recalculating the whole thing several times and copy-pasting the whole thing into a newly made document, but that had no effect. It is most likely NOT a fault in writing of the document, since the same document worked for my buddy (he lent me this document).   Can anyone advice me how to stop this irregular behaviour?     (all other variables there are defined earlier)

We have our revision sequencing that starts at A and goes through Y for pre-release documents and then can jump at anytime during the alpha phase to numeric revisions starting at 0. In some cases we need to define the initial revision when we load a document into Windchill to be at revision 0. Currently we do it the back wood method of revising the revision A document to revision ) and then do the promotion request. This leaves us with a revision A document that does not really exist.   Is there a modification to the OIR that can be used to select the initial revision from the revision table or at least ask for the revision to be entered?   We are on Windchill 11.0 m030 CPS08.

Am able to access thingworx flow from the suggested URL (https://<hostname>:<Port>/Thingworx/Composer/apps/flow). But when I created a Thing in Thingworx composer and added a service by selecting "Workflow", it throws, 404 Page Not Found error in the service creation panel. I checked the status of flow with "pm2 ls" command in command prompt and all the components are "online".   Can someone please suggest a solution. Am currently using Thingworx 8.5 version.  

Hello, Is it possible to shorten a profile (in a combined view), and keep the same mass properties. This way I can make a readable drawing of a long profile.    Now, if I want to make a drawing on A4 paper, with a 3000mm long profile, the dimensions are not readable at all.

Hi there! I have to merge two pipes. But problem is that the end of one pipe is ''floating'' somewhere in the space, and another one is settled on the top plane. I can not make another sweep to merge this two, beacuse I can not find out how to draw a trajectory which will connect ends of pipes. Can anbody help me out with this? Btw. I use PTC Creo 4.0.    

I'm using a company hosted demo server and I've created a mashup displaying data collected from a raspberry pi with a temperature and humidity sensor and GPS collector. I'm trying to use the google maps widget installed on the demo server however, it's not coming up in the widgets section. When I go in the manage section and then extensions, it is there however when I view any mashup with this widget in, I can't see it and an error comes up in the log saying 'google maps doesn't exist'. None of my other colleagues using the same server have this issue and don't know how to solve it. If anyone has any suggestions/solutions they would be much appreciated.    

Hi     We can identify aliased URL for model using API ProServerModelNameToAliasedURL(). This URL can be used to check-out model from windchill.   My query is that can we find all objects presents into windchill and from name of the those CAD objects, I would like to get aliased URL.    Is it possible through toolkit to get list of objects present in Windchill?   Thanks and Regards Ketan

Before I spend much time looking for it (unsuccessfully, because it doesn't seem to be there): In Creo View Lite there is no way to change the lighting settings (e.g. spotlights), right?   This must be done (at minimum) in Creo View MCAD, and saved from there as an annotation set, correct?

I'd like to invoke the start scan service automatically when my view is loaded. I try to use the code following :   $scope.init = function(){$scope.app.fn.triggerWidgetService('scan-1','startscan');}; angular.element(document).ready($scope.init);   but it's not working. it's working when I use with show popup service or another service but only scan service is not working. I'll be happy if someone can help me. Thank you.

Hi, Frame Layout widget didn't work in thingworx 8.5  Anyone has similar widget recommendation or any suggestion on building overlay layouts instead of frame Layout widget?

I am having an issue related to your comment in this thread. Attempting to install the Thingworx analytics server results in all the services being created, analytics server manager thing, resource provider thing, etc. But the analytics gateway thing does not get installed. Do you have any information on this issue?

I want to create tabs dynamically. Basically when I click on a button a new tab is added with the same template as what was set. The tabs will represent objects and they will contain information about the object. Is this possible? From the research I did it's only possible to hide the tabs making them appear with an event. But that would mean I know at the begin the total number of tabs, thing I don't know. This solution it will not work.
