Hello, I'm interesting in developing custom widget. It is possible to find a source code for standard widgets (button, image) as an example for learning purpose or as a base for new widget?

In 11.0 I have my method servers, background method server and server manager pointing to their own java executable.  Not all of the preferences that I have in my site.xconf file are available in 11.2.  Has anyone done this yet for 11.2?  What are the preferences I need to set and how do I set them?

I have received a step file assembly from one of our suppliers. Instead of cluttering up our Windchill server with all sorts of misc parts I want to somehow turn this assembly into a part.I have tried a shrinkwrap (surface subset), it leaves too many surfaces missing no matter what Quality Level or Special handling options I use.I have tried a shrinkwrap (Merged Solid), it always gives a "Could not create model <insert model name>. Aborting" message.I have tried to open the step file as a part and Creo gives me the "NOT RESPONDING" message and the only way to get out is to End Task. I have waited up to 30 minutes for Creo to continue responding with no happy ending.Does anyone have a solution?Creo 3.0M010Thanks in advance,Herb SpauldingMiller Industries

Hi, I am trying to create an extension(Thing template with one service) which is used to read the data in an Excel file and convert it to Json. My problem is I don't know how to get file path from the user as input parameter to the service. I have attached the code below. If I give the whole file path in the java code itself, extension is working fine. But,If I try to get file path from the user my result after executing the service is blank. Anybody help me with this.

Hey Everyone,   I am using ThingWorx v 8.5.0 and am having trouble increasing the font size of a drop down list . I am using the 'DropDown' widget, and have changed the 'item-value' font-size style property to 20px.     However, this seems to only make the 'hint text' in the drop down list larger, but when I expand the drop down, all the values are still a smaller font size.     Am I missing something basic here? How can I increase the font-size of the selection items in the new drop down widget? Thanks so much for your help!   Andrew

Hi Everyone,   I just created a new empty 2d View in Vuforia Studio. I added a footer with a grid layout inside but the grid layout does not cover the full width. (see Screenshot) Now I would like the footer to stretch full width with a 3 Column Layout with elements on the left, right and center of screen. How can I achieve this?    

Hi,   How do i need to return data from another mashup (modal popup) with the new navigation function in TW8.5? By using the navigation widget the variables are shown in the properties, but there is no property section in the new navigation function. I can only bind data to the mashup in the "Mashup Parameters section", but i can not get data from the mashup. All the parameters have a two way binding.   Kind Regards, Nick

There is an dialog attribute (.HelpButton) in source file which can be set to true.But the help button is always gray out. Does anyone know how to activate and set action for the help button in toolkit/object toolkit?

Hello all, I have a situation where I want to save table in CSV format.I am using 'ProDwgtableSave' API for the same.ProError ProDwgtableSave(ProDwgtable* table, ProPath path, ProDwgtableFormattype table_format, int segment_id );   The API extern 'ProDwgtableSave' requires 'segment id' as an argument.   I am using 'ProDwgtableSegCount' API to get segment count.   ProError ProDwgtableSegCount (ProDwgtable *p_table,int *n_segs);   But I am not finding a way to get 'segment id' from the number of segments. Therefore I am not able to save CSV file as it is not getting specific table data.Though I am able to save TXT file as it does not require 'segment id' as argument.   Thanks in advance.   Regards,Pratik Chougule

  How can one re-write the equation with only theta on the left. I need to calculate theta when Q is known. Will this be possible? Q is a ratio variable that rages between 0 and 1 and will be known from previous calculations. I know when Q=0.5 the Theta = PI and when Q=1 then Theta = 2*PI

Someone just asked me a question about setting the default x-hatching. I had never thought about it but we often change the x-hatching on a drawing to steel. I use a mapkey to do this but if there was a way to make the cross hatching default to steel, that would make at least one user happy.

When starting Creo 5.0.1.0 for the first time and replacing a copied part in assembly, I get an error: "You must use Standard mode to redefine this dashboard feature.":   After closing/erasing and repeating the steps, the replace suddenly works. How can I resolve this error?   The only thing that has changed in the second replace is the PRO_PART ID from 3, to 524291.

I'm trying to install Windchill 11.2 on my Windows Server 2019 with SQL Server 2017 (yes it is in the matrices), but am having issues.  I can get everything to install and connect to Windchill but I cannot login to SQL Server as the database user.  The user that I create during Windchill SQL setup is not listed in the local users like it was in 11.0.  Has anyone else had issue?  Has anyone had a successful installation and be able to connect to the database with the database user?   Thank you, Brian

I have an Allen-Bradley Micro820 Programmable Logic Controller and was wondering if its possible to connect that to ThingWorx Industrial Connectivity directly. That and if Siemens PLC's are able to connect as well. Any input is welcomed.

Usually drag the LISP file to the modeling work area，then the function command show in the toolbox.  But it show none in the toolbox when you do it in CEDM 19.0. I take the example  "Color Parts"  in the integration kit，and save as a LISP file to dray to the modeling work area. It's still failure.

In CREO 3.0 when exporting a STEP file the "Export STEP" dialog box came up and gave you a option to select a CSYS.  In CREO 4.0 this seems to be gone . Where can I find this option in CREO 4.0 ?     Thanks

Hi. I have an infotable bound to an Advanced Grid widget (using v4.2.1 from the marketplace) and I see that the column sorting is not readily available as it is with the standard Grid widget. I checked the documentation, and it only specifies how to sort columns when you have Data Table as a source, but I'm interested in using infotables.    I have a service that sorts the infotable based on a column input, but I don't see how that could help me, as I can't dynamically pass the column name to the service.   Can anyone give me some help on this?
