Hi All   I'm writing some Test Automation for Thingworx in Selenium Webdriver with the aim to completely automate some basic platform tests. Part of what I have been testing is the reset password functionality.  I can trigger the generation of emails to reset passwords via Unirest in java , but I still need access to an email address to get the tokens to carryout my testing .   Can the user password reset tokens / links be generated directly from the platform using the right credentials ?   If not, is there a process which can be followed to allow test automation to create reset password link to check that the correct password settings have been implemented on that part of the platform.

My mashup has two text box widgets, two button widgets and two value display widgets as shown in the attached image. Now I want to store the text box data in a table once the ok buttons are pressed and show the data in their corresponding value display widgets.  Though it is very basic and fundamental, step by step instructions would be much appreciated.

I want to change the buttons to be used according to the selection i made in select widget. Any idea how can i achieve it? Also I am not comfortable with coding so a code according to my project will help me lot.  I am also attaching the exported project file.

How can I export all combined views (tabs in the bottom) into a "merged" pdf?

Hi, I have two Advanced Grids that i'm using for my mashup. Grid A populates Grid B based on the selected row and specific cell value. I can sort and filter Grid A but can't do that with Grid B. The bindings are the same on both between the filter widget and the advanced grid widget. I have attached some screenshots.   Thanks  Rafay

Been using Vuforia studio for about 2 months now.  Not sure if it is trial or not.  Yesterday, logged in no problem.  Later in the day an error occurred when try to save a project.  Closed application.  Haven't been able to log in since.  See log files attached.  First from early in the day.  Second showing error at login

Hello,   I was wondering how you can add Template views to an drawing template file, and have it show all the model annotations from the model.   The model annotations that I manually added, are not shown automatically now. Is there a setting for this? See picture:  

Is it possible to lock a dimension with an offset to a face of the model? Now, when I change the length of a profile, the dimensions are not staying outside the model. See picture.

I am using a 2D select widget to control the sequence being played.  I would like to be able to display different 3D images based on this selection.

Hi, are there any built in services that allow you to modify stream & value stream entries? We have a requirement to remove all customer/user data upon request. However, we would like to retain some of the data we hold to aid in data analysis and so we are looking to modify that data if possible so that it cannot be connected to an individual customer. I can see that there are services to purge/delete entries which we will use in most cases, but there are other circumstances where we might wish to retain the event.  Examples of this might be: Streams: where we record a 'log in' event on a remote asset. The data for that event holds the username. If possible we would like to keep the event, but overwrite the username value with some anonymous data. Value Stream: where we log the name of the current 'job' being carried out on the remote asset. This might be customer specific.   One thought that we had was to add a new entry (with modified data) using the old event timestamp

Hi. I made a service which calls an Influx endpoint with a Flux query, using an HTTP POST (Resources["ContentLoaderFunctions"].PostText())   This works great, but how do I show the result of this query in a mashup? I can't figure out how to invoke a service from a mashup.

Hi Team,    I'm using the C-SDK 2-2-3-1545 to connect to a device to ThingWorx 8.4.2 and although I can connect and interact (READ/WRITE) with remote properties, I'm still having this error :   [ERROR] 2019-08-29 09:08:07,812: subscribedPropsMgr_UpdateSavedValues: spm->persistedValues not initialized   How can I deal with that error ? Unable to connect ThingWorx 8.3.0-b349 to MS SQL external Database. I use the extension pointed by the various tutorials about, then I create a thing using the ThingTemplate MsSQL server. I've tried to change different parameters for the configuration tab. In the application log i receive the messages : [message: Entity Not Found : [JdbcCreator]] [message: Entity Not Found : [MySqlServer]] (note that I use the Template and parameters for Ms SQl not MySql)[message: Unable To Convert From java.lang.String to NUMBER] I verified that in the Tomcat folder lib there is the MsSql.jar file.I used a similar procedure for Postgres Database and works, but I keep failing with MsSql.

Hi everyone. I have installed ptc creo 3.0 student version .I have followed the steps of installation. It installed successfully but I can't open creo parametric or other ptc apps. After downloading only once I managed to open creo parametric .From then it stopped working. When I click the creo parametric icon nothing happens . I tried the app directly (not shortcut) , but it didn't do a thing. I tried re configuring but it didn't helped me. Please  any one suggest a solution for this problem as I can't do any thing . Hi,   I've created a sketch in a sub-assembly that contains a line. The line is used to create a pipe using the AFX-module. My goal is to change the length of the pipe in a family table.   In the family-table I don't see the possibility to directly add a column for the sketch-parameter. So I created a new parameter in the sub-assembly named "pipe_height" and used it in the family table. In the sketch I set the length of the line to this parameter. When I verify the table, it says, that everything is good, but when I open the length of the pipe doesn't change. When I change the parameter manually and regenerate the project, the size of the line changes.   There are some other dimensions in the family table that aren't used in sketches and the family table works perfectly for those parameters. I only can't change the parameter in the skech. Maybe its possible to access the sketch-parameter directy in the family-table ? But it doesn't appear the in the family table -> pa

I have started drafting some material for student engineers relating to bending moments and shear forces. Initially,  the SF and BM were calculated long hand and the plotted graphs look correct. However, when integration and differentiation is used the graphs are not correct. I am using M15 with Windows 10.   Thanks,   Mike

My company wants to introduce standard bomballoons values for fasteners.e.g. A hex_nut_m6 is always number 301.Now I want to make a repeat region that reads the rpt.index value for all components, but if a component has a parameter called pos_nr, it should obtain that value.See screenshot, modified in Paint….I assume this should be possible with relations in repeat regions but I cannot get it to work.Anybody out there who can help me?

Hello, I would like to check if app/resources/IMAGES/Filename.JPG exists or not, and then display scrolling arrows (left and right) if multiple images exist. I can figure out the scrolling arrows, and how to change the 3D image widget, but I can't find a way to check if JPG files are uploaded. I display a different image for each step of an animation, but some steps will have multiple images associated with them.   I have tried Stack Overflow: Check synchronously if file/directory exists in Node.js but I get the error in my console "TypeError: Cannot read property 'access' of undefined"   var name = // code I use to concatenate a filename string ending in .jpg var p = "app/resources/IMAGES/"+name; fs.access(p, error => { if (!error) { console.log("exists: "+p); } else { console.log("does not exist: "+p); } Any suggestions?
