I read the concepts master vaults , replica vault and cache vaults but in that I am getting confused in the difference2. Hello,   I have a problem when I try to connect Fanuc 30i-A PMC with Industrial Connectivity. The failure is the next:     I selected the appropiate channel and device, I downloaded Fanuc focas library I and II and I installed on Windows System32 folder, but the problem continue. I am making a table for drawings and need to use "⏚" (electric ground) in this. I am unable to find it anywhere in Creo and if I try to copy/paste it I just get at square (□). Weirdly enough if I copy/paste this square to a text editor I get the ⏚ symbol again... I now I can insert a symbol like this into the drawing but not into the table or a note.   It seems like the fonts in Creo does not support this standard unicode U+23AD symbol which is weird to me.I am using Creo 4.0 M30

Hi   We can create extrude cut as incomplete feature first without adding section. Next step is to get section element from incomplete created feature and add entities to section and then redefine feature. This flow is working perfectly fine if I add all entities using API ProSectionEntityAdd().   Instead of using API ProSectionEntityAdd() due to effort required to find entity type and it's co-ordinates (requirement for API ProSectionEntityAdd()) , I thought to use projected entities.   I had a feature and from that feature, I collected edges which can be used to project on projection plane i.e. sketch plane of extrude cut.So, ultimately I found out selection object from edges to be projected.   On each selection object of edges, I am doing ProSectionEntityFromProjection() which works without error and I am getting entity ID also.These edges are getting added into sketch references also.   Now, issue is that my redefined feature i.e. extrude cut is failed to re

Hello everyone    Please tell me how to use MATHCAD15 to describe a solve block and a block to be calculated using the result of this solve block as a subroutine or a function and use it repeatedly.   I have found this answer below, I want to do this.   But is it the same for the latest MATHCAD15?   https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Mathcad/Subroutine/m-p/43405#M17455   With this method, if I modify only a part of the part that I made a subroutine, will it be the following method?   (1) Open each area and modify the same corresponding parts (2) After correcting in one area, copy this area, delete the other uncorrected area, and paste and replace the copied area.  

When creating a versioning scheme in Windchill 11.0 m030, we have the need to jump versions. We initially create parts/documents at version A. These get revised to new versions up to a point where we decide to jump the version to version 0 for a production release. When I select the file for a Revise action, I am only getting the next version in my version table. It will not let me change the version to the numeric sequence in my version file. What do I need to set to get the revision box to allow me to select my next revision?

Hi   I am trying to create intersect feature using toolkit. This feature is created manually using datum plane and surfaces of extrude feature.   What I need to do for toolkit is to create feature of type PRO_FEAT_CURVE using in header file PRODTMCRV. Type should be Feature - Intersect Curve defined as PRO_CURVE_TYPE_INTSRF. While adding surfaces, I thought to have PRO_CURVE_TYPE_INTSRF as multiple selections of surfaces.   In case of single surface, I could have used API ProElementReferenceSet(), but what need to be done in case of multiple surfaces to be passed as value to this element.   I have used below code to set multiple surfaces into element called "PRO_E_CRV_IP_REF1 " , but it is not working properly.   ProElement objElementSrfCollection; status = ProElementAlloc(PRO_E_STD_SURF_COLLECTION_APPL, &objElementSrfCollection); ProCollection objSrfCollection;   status = ProSrfcollectionAlloc(&objSrfCollection); ProSrfcollinstr objSur

How to create Automatic Backup to thingworx entites and data instead of exporting into xml or twx files using export option in composer. I have ThingworxBackupStorage folder in my c drive, but it empty, there are no backup files. Is there anything to be added in platform settings file or do I need to enable any option in composer or do I need to run a service. Please suggest me right approach.  

I am getting a socket error when I try to import entities from file, which is strange as I am importing from a local file. Binary and xml return the same error. The app log only returns the 5 lines below. Hi, I want to know how ThingWorx keep data consistent during concurrent update.  I asked a similar question days ago and got reply that if set a persistent property then the thread will be locked and will be executed one by one.    However,  I tested the approach but still got inconsistent data.   Any suggestions ?    I created a reproducible case:  1. Import the attached XML 2. Find the data table ConCurrentDataTable 3. Execute ResetTestData,  it will call Async service _Update to simulate concurrent update.  4. Execute ConCurrentUpdate, it will update the properties of entry [Type=station1] with new value.  5. Check the table ConCurrentDataTable,  you will find only a few properties get updated .   Regards, Sean

Hello everyone, Have you seen any issues with Drag and Drop in Arbortext Editor 7?  We're seeing behavior where selected text jumps to the middle of the screen when trying to drag it to a new location.  This is most obvious in tables, but also occurs with other tags.  I haven't found any sort of advanced preference that would control something like this.  Deleting the preferences file does not help. This issue is particularly noticeable when selecting text towards the bottom of the Arbortext window and trying to drag it to the top part of the window, especially when a table takes up the entire window.  As soon as I begin to move the text, the file window scrolls so the selected text is suddenly relocated vertically to the middle of the screen.  This does not occur in Arbortext 5.4, and I don't know about Arbortext 6 behavior.Have any of you seen this and know how to resolve it?  Thanks!>> Randy

This is a followup to this topic that I marked as solved.  Marked prematurely, it seems.   CPS-14 was successfully installed on the production system last week.  The customer reports that the security scan fails with all the same exact issues originally reported.  I am digging back in with PTC Support.  Also looking into the possibility of "false positives".  For example, one of the items flagged is for DB version 12.1.0.1 and another for version 12.2.0.1. The version of Oracle that is in use is 12.1.0.2.

Dear PTC community,   I have been working on a ThingWorx project for some weeks.  Today I have realized that when I try to save my main Mashup after update it with new widgets or services, the following message appears:   Saving :  Unable to update mashup   As a possible solution, I have also tried to duplicate it in order to use the new one. After clicking in duplicate, a new window has appeared with this message: "Could not load "New Mashup - 1". Reason: 404 - Entity Not Found : [New Mashup - 1]" Then the new duplicate mashup has been created but the behavior is exactly the same that with the original one: "Unable to update mashup"   It only happens with this specific mashup, I have achieved to generate changes in other entities of the same project as other mashups, styles or media.   Any idea what could have happened? Hello ladys and gentlemen,   first of all, i want to apologize for my bad english. I'm a student from germany and i'm currently working on my technician project. I already designed a 3D model of my machine in Autodesk Inventor 2020. There are problems with importing both of  the autodesk inventor files (.ipt and .iam) into Creo Illustrate Professional 6.0.  I attached the error log from Creo.                                         Maybe someone can help me with my problem.     Best regards Marco

Goodmorning everyone, I have a problem with the installation of Creo 3 M190, precisely it freezes as soon as it is started without the possibility of unlocking it. The same PC has Creo 3 M040 installed and has no problem. What can I check to resolve? Can it be the graphics driver?   Regards, Andrea

I have already configure my Tomcat serve for CORS still i am not able to access my api and i am getting " Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource."   When i am trying to access the API using Postman i am getting 403 error. For reference please check attached images.   

In composer on a particular machine all datetimes are listed as yyyy/mm/dd h:m:s instead of yyyy-mm-dd h:m:s. Is there a default setting somewhere like in platform settings where this can be changed?
