Does anyone have experience with importing or dealing with gerber (.gtl) files?   I am trying to do a 3D model from details in a gerber file but am struggling for the best way to do this?

Hi,   I need help understanding how PTC HTTP Server responds to user requests on different scenario to configure my F5 BIG IP Load Balancer. I'll explain first what I have.   I created a lab with following configuration to test Windchill application clustering. WC11SRV01.lab.com - Database Server WC11SRV02.lab.com - Windchill Application Node 1 (SM, 2 MS, 1 BMS) WC11SRV03.lab.com - Indexing Search Server WC11SRV04.lab.com - Windchill Application Node 2 (SM, 2 MS, 1 BMS) BIGIP01.lab.com - F5 BIG IP LTM VE, which will work as load balancer W10CLIENT01.lab.com - A Windows 10 client All installed, configured to accept connection on plm.lab.com, working OK as long as LB is load balancing between 2 Windchill application servers. But in a scenario, where Apache runs in one node and method servers stopped, LB still directs traffic on that node. Tried doing federation configuration taking my Studio local server as Source system and IoT server as Target system and vice-versa but after checking with monitoring tool; these servers are not getting published or subscribed.  2. I do not want to download the extension on the local system and then import into the Thingworx platform. I would like to import the Thingworx Extension into Thingworx platform directly through Marketplace.   how can I achieve this?    Would it be the new functionality in Thingworx?

I have tried to import to the studio but gives error as No project imported. Hello,   I have a navigation widget on my mashup (responsive) which open a modal popup. My problem is that depending on the resolution of the screen, the size of the popup is more or less correct. (For example, on 27' screen with big resolution, the popup is too small.)   I see we can bind the popup size on the navigation wigdet (FixedPopupWidth and FixedPopupHeight). Is it possible to get main mashup size so that I can set via a service the popup size to 75% (for example) of the main mashup ?   Thanks. Best regards   Julien  

Hello, my calculations deliver the correct units.   1. Actual, I calculate the Value of an inductance, the result is approx. 10µH. The mathcad result is shown as 1 x 10-5 H. Can I format the result to µH ?   2. When I calculate the speed of voltage rise, I expect the result in V/s, but I get m2 x kg /( s4 x A) (try to calculate 4V / 2s ) Is it possible to simplify the units?   greetings

Dear helpers,   I am quite new to Mathcad and have the following question using the minimize optimization in Mathcad15.   I would like to calculate the maximum of deformation of a loaded plate (=minumum of plate equation). Therefor I use a plate equation w(x,y) with several parameters (force and force location (x and y)) for several time steps by adding an Excel component. (Each time step has a set of these three parameters.)   I was able to calculate the minimum for each of these steps seperate but my goal is to use the minimize optimization for w(x,y) dependent on the parameters so that the solution is a vector consisting of the several minimums for each parameter set.    I appreciate any kind of help. Hi all, i am re-visiting an old problem. I posted on here years ago something similar but stopped researching when I came up with an alternative way of producing the type of suface I was after. Now i am looking for better control. I wonder if anyone could explain the behaviour I am see in this sweep feature. I am trying to create a helical swirl surface controlled by graph. The graph should give me complete control over the path of my swirl surface. I am close but Creo is doing something very weird. If you look at the attached model you will hopefully see the kind of surface i am trying to produce & the crazy way that Creo is dealing with it. Perhaps my graph should look different, perhaps the relation embedded within the sweep feature is not written correctly. Also, could this swirl surface be created by relation only? ie. not using evalgraph. Best regards John

Hi.   I get a thingworx c-sdk and I want to use it My C++ project.   But in thingworx c-sdk, it uses 'namespace' as some parameter's name.   As I know 'namespace' is reserved word in C++.   How can I resolve it?

In Creo 3.0 I save a part as a ACIS (.sat) file , I get the EXPORT ACIS dialog box for options. (see sketch)  I select solid and save the file.  I am able to import and open the file in CST software. In Creo 4.0 M050 I save the same part as a ACIS (.sat) file but I don't get the EXPORT ACIS dialog box and it will not open in CST. I get an error message saying there are no solids. Any one have any ideas why the export would be different between Creo 3 and 4?     

Hi to all,   Looking for some help from anyone with experience in fatigue calculations.   I have the attached problems as part of an assignment but the supporting literature I have been given is not overly helpful. Essentially I think that I have either done some of the programming incorrectly or equally likely my units are wrong. As I suggest, the material I am working from is pretty light in explaining the units.   Any help appreciated.   Andy.
