We use a hardware library in Windchill with Creo 3. It works, but I started playing with the Intelligent Fastener tool and really like it. It's much faster/easier than using hardware libraries. Therefore, I'm trying to get our BOM to work with it. Here's my stupid part: And here's my current BOM: With the current relations: Here are the screw parameters: So I wrote this relation in an attempt to select either the screw parameters (naming, designation) for item and description or our standard model parameters (drawing_num, description), and then to tie that to the repeat region using the new parameters (item_name, item_description). The new repeat region parameters are (asm.mbr.item_name, asm.mbr.item_description). Ignore the first block, that's to list bulk items with an "AR" for quantity. I just installed Thingworx 8.1 (MS SQL) on Windows 10 with SQL Server Dev 2014.When creating a simple entity based on GenericThing template (with or without adding any properties) and pressing Save,first very shortly Saving appears and soon after Loading progress bar remains on the screen and of course it is a modal dialog box obscuring the whole page.No error in any logs. Hello   I have created hole feature. For hole diameter dimension, I have selected tolerance table as A9.    Now, if i set tolerance mode as plus-minus, it would show me as Ø2.3 A9 (+0.295,+0.270). I need to know from where this tolerance values (0.295 and 0.270) are coming in creo installtion file? I checked a.ttl file into C:\PTC\Creo3.0\M120\Common_Files\tol_tables\iso , but could not figure out some useful.   Any thought would be of great help!   Thanks and Regards Ketan

I have a need to call the Arbortext Publshing Engine from a .BAT file instead of from an Arbortext Editor session.  I want to be able to send a .ditamap to the Arbortext Publshing engine, specify a style sheet that is on the Publishing Engine, pass a .ditval file to be used for processing, and specifying the location where the resulting PDF should be stored.I would think that this should be pretty straight forward, but I cannot seem to find any documentation on the process.  Am I missing something?

Hi. I have 1-step wizard with table. Table contains documents associated with part (PartDocHelper.service.getAssociatedDocuments(...)). When i submit wizard the request can contain data partly. So form processor also receives only part of the data from wizard table. Total count of documents (and rows ia table) 13 for example. Sometimes request contains data of all 13 rows, but sometimes it can be 9, 10 or 11. It does not matter what i do with wizard and what fields i fill (i have checkboxes and textarea in each row). Data from first few rows is missing. What can cause this error? Thanks.

Currently we are working on upgrade of MKS Integrity 2009 to PTC Integrity v10.9 in which we have below issue.In web content promotion, We are using COM+ (xxxxx.xxx) service  for transferring the files from one web server to another. While configuring the same in test environment for PTC Integrity 10.9 upgrade project, I could see that ‘WCP - Standard Promote’ trigger uses WCP.js for starting the COM+ (xxxxx.xxx) service with help of  JCOM.jar and JCOM.dll. For PTC Integrity 10.9 we used  MS Windows Server 2012 64 bit as operating system.While executing wcp.js script through trigger, we get following error in WCP.js line 493 “var rm = new Packages.jp.ne.so_net.ga2.no_ji.jcom.ReleaseManager();” . Please advise us how to run 32 bit dll in 64 bit server. Here I have attached WCP.js file for your reference. We use Schematics with Windchill.   The recent file list only lists files that are outside of windchill.  Those are only stubbs from creating new files without anything that has ever been saved to them (which automaticaly goes to the Windchill copy).  I can clean out the trash files on my hard drive but the links remain. I want to be able to do two things:  Clean out the useless names from the list.  Manually add a few very useful files to the list.  

This what I know so far........ Within the Creo CAD assy, I can goto file > prepare > model properties > click change next to mass properties. Then click generate report, the window will appear with all immediate components info.   The question is.....anyway to see the components children info as well?  

Hi,I am logging in as a User I created and I am trying to arrange the gadgets in a dashboard I created as the User by dragging and dropping them to the desired position. The problem is that when I refresh the dashboard mashup / log out and log in the gadgets' arrangement is reset to the default arrangement. Everything else I can do as User: edit Dashboard, edit Groups, edit Gadgets, even drag-and-drop Groups persistently.If i log in as Administrator and change the position of gadgets per drag-and-drop the new arrangement is persistently stored, i.e. the new gadgets' arrangement is still there after refreshing.The User has been granted all Resources Collection and Subsystems Collection Permissions. Also he has all Dashboards Collection Permissions. The fact that the Administrator can persistently reposition gadgets and the User cannot suggests that I am missing some permissions for the User. Any ideas?Thank you!

Hi,I'm trying to create a JS Date object from a time string which is passed from the edge on my remote assets.The string has the format 2016-Oct-06 09:41:23 +00:00:00​. I have tried a number of ways to initialise a date object with this string, but none of them seem to work.Would anyone know how I might do this?Thanks.

When I input a number that is greater than 16 digits, it begins to round. For example, I insert the following: 2222222222222222222222222.00000 and it automatically corrects it to: 2222222222222222184939520.000000   I don't understand why it is doing this. I need these numbers to be exact becuase it is a code that drives parameters based on the numbers 3 and 2.    For instance, if I put 232323223, an interchange will grab the part associated with each individual number. It is not being using for a dimensional value.   Thanks,  John

Hi    So my problem is after i do everything right using manual, when i try to add custom startools we using in university, Creo just works for like 1 or 2 seconds and than shut down.   But when i use original Creo starttools everythink works right, but i need those school startools.   Thanks in advance , Lukáš

I'm currently attempting to install ThingWorx 8.1 on a remote server and have come across an issue. Typing in localhost:8080/Thingworx/Home throws a Status 401 Error. Looking at past ideas it looks like if you up voted an idea in the old Jive system it carried over but the new Lithium system won't let you give your own idea an up vote? Am I missing something or just don't it wrong?

Hi,   We are using PTC Integrity 10.8.0.8356   In the File ->Preferences -> Configuration Management -> Diff and Merge tools or in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Integrity\IntegrityClient10.8\IntegrityClientSite.rc" I would like to be able to set different tools for different file extensions.   Example: - for .txt files I would like to use Beyond Compare - for .eap files I would like to use Lemon Tree - for .doc, .docx files I would like to use DiffDoc  etc etc    Can someone help ?
